Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I'd rather them just go with a strict brand split where they only work together on the 4 main PPVs. I do like how they have made Raw so much better than the other two shows. I used to think they should make equal shows but I don't really ever watch Smackdown or ECW. The only guy on ECW that I would care to see is CM Punk and the only guy on Smackdown is MVP. I'm sure they'll both be on Raw soon enough.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
They completely screwed up the brand extension. The wrestlers should never appear on the other shows. If they were to keep the brands completely seperate it would seem like a big deal if you ever did see them together. They should also get rid of the draft and do free agency instead. They could make great story lines about one brand signing a big star from the other. They should let fans know that a wrestlers contract is expiring on that brand and then leave it in suspense as to who signs him.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
True, but how often have they built up the suspense on a bidding war? They could carry this over to WWE.com where they could list when a superstars contract with that brand is expiring. They could have some resign quietly while others become the hot free agent that everyone wants.Comment

Trades should occur during the year with the GM's........plus each show should have a GM like we finally do now. RAW or SD should have a strong heel group also to help make things interesting.
I like your idea of expering contracts. Plus they did something similar a few years ago when Scott Steiner came into the WWE and both SD and RAW were trying to sign him.Last edited by CaptainZombie; 08-22-2007, 10:05 PM.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I rarely if ever ask for dirtsheet info and well i'm so out of the wrestling grapevine that I don't know which sites are still reliable and whatnot so anyways I hear (via another forum) that Flair's last big run is coming up. Are there any details out there?
Thanks.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
So has there been any whisperings about Chris Jericho coming back? Last rumor I heard was there was a 50/50 chance he'd be back by Summerslam, and unless the WWE now knows how to keep something quiet that doesn't look like it will happen. Hell, even if they could keep that a secret it isn't like Triple H would allow Y2J to have any of his return thunder.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Do we know if he'll be around just more as a manager/tv personality? I think Flair can really do a lot, just not as much in the ring anymore. I'm a huge Flair fan, but it pains me to see him do that weird backdrop where he only lands on one side...it's time he stepped out of the ring IMO.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

"It is believed that a Ric Flair retirement storyline is going to start imminently, perhaps in the next few weeks, to culminate at either Royal Rumble, No Way Out or WrestleMania next year. Flair would obviously prefer the latter. Flair, who is 58 years old, has been saying that this was going to be his last year as a regular in-ring competitor."XBL: DTX3

Hart Foundation 2.0
Credit: F4Wonline.com
- As previously posted, Harry Smith, Teddy Hart and Nattie Neidhart are working under the name Hart Foundation 2.0. WWE is looking to bring them up to the main roster soon, and are trying hard to get Bret Hart to work an introduction angle in trade for WWE promoting his new book, that is set to be released in October.
If Bret won't do it, Jim Neidhart is very willing to come in and do the angle. SmackDown writer Michael Hayes is very high on Teddy Hart as he reminds Hayes of his World Class Championship Wrestling persona and feels like he "lives the gimmick."
- TJ Wilson, who has basically been considered a member of the Hart Family and is also dating Nattie, will not be included in the group as first thought. Instead, it appears he will be brought up to the roster as a cruiserweight on the SmackDown brand.XBL: DTX3
