I know this is highly unlikely, but what if this is a work, part of the feud? Swagger starts talking about how he represents America and the people, and then gets busted for drugs, Zeb drops him saying those aren't the beliefs he stands for, Swagger goes crazy and becomes like a psycho super-patriot by attacking "non-American" members of the roster to prove to Zeb how much he cares.

I know the WWE would never go for something like that, and I fully understand Swagger is an idiot who killed the best shot he's ever going to have, but I still think that would be an interesting storyline for Creative to try and pull off.

I know the WWE would never go for something like that, and I fully understand Swagger is an idiot who killed the best shot he's ever going to have, but I still think that would be an interesting storyline for Creative to try and pull off.

If it's a work, it's the most amazing work in the history of wrestling, including a performer that is fully willing to get misdemeanors on his record.

Of course, I generally think that the simplest answer is the correct one: he's stupid.

Ziggler was already talking about Swagger just coming back and getting a title shot at Wrestlemania, wish they'd play this into Ziggler challenging Swagger for his world title shot at Mania vs Briefcase, then we get Ziggler vs ADR at Mania, after an awesome match have Big E destroy ADR again after he gets the upper hand or the win, only this time Ziggler cashes in while Big E also destroys Ricardo. Then after stealing the show on the grandest stage of all the W's start to roll in for the Show Off.

I can dream right?

He deserves to be punished. A DUI is no small manner. I think he should lose his shot at Mania and get at least 30 days. But you don't end his push. The guy has talent (though he has been wildly inconsistent in his career) and I think this angle with him and Zeb has legs. The weed thing doesn't bother me at. It's freaking weed. Who the hell cares? It's legal in two states, and generally accepted in a few others. The DUI is a bad thing. But you don't drop him to the bottom of the card, and you certainly don't fire him. That's terrible business and doesn't help anybody.

That wouldn't really make sense... don't give me this "It's wrestling, it doesn't have to make sense" explanation. Swagger and Ziggler each have a title shot. Risking their title shot doesn't make sense just to have 2.

Ziggler was talking about how Swaggers title shot didn't guarantee him the WHC his briefcase guarantees it so not like that feud couldn't be spun to work.

I don't foresee this scenario playing out, more or less just me as a Ziggler fan wanting him to get the belt, it's why I ended my post with I can dream right.

I think Ziggler trying to get a second shot makes sense. It's happened before. He was in the Rumble, he was in the Chamber. Getting a second guaranteed shot totally makes sense. That way the briefcase becomes insurance (which would be something new).
