You wouldn't say SCSA was generally the same from when he become Stone cold until he started hanging out w/ Austin?

Rock was pretty much the same from joining the nation until he became Hollywood Rock.

Taker was the same guy w/ a tweak to his ministry character and w/ exception to the ABA.

Once HHH went on his my time theme, he pretty much remained the same.

While those guy made tweaks, they generally stayed the same.

I also said Cena needed a change.

I think you read or took those comments out of context from what I was responding to.

We ended the night talking to Rocky Johnson, and he told us that Rock was done with wrestling. "He is making 30 million dollars a movie. Why would he need to deal with this nonsense?" You can take that for what it is worth. A few years ago, Johnson told my friend he was going to be made a General Manager and ride to WrestleMania on a horse so his track record for honesty is not great

Well, if I didn't need the money and tore something every other time I wrestled a match I'd call it quits too.

This whole Punk/Non-Rock Fans vs. Rock Fans thing is getting a bit ridiculous now.

Thought it was over with after last night?

The Rock's dad wanted to ride to Wrestlemania on a horse and that's what you get from that?

No. I don't think anyone in Hollywood is pulling in that much. He is making a lot though.

He made 36 million total last year according to Forbes. So, no.

You'd have a point if my post had anything to do with that whatsoever.

Apparently if Rock needs surgery it would delay his upcoming Hercules movie. I know no one cares about that, but if that occurs it would put an incredible amount of pressure on him to stop wrestling. Well... most probably don't care about that either.

I for one hope this isn't the end. Overall I've been disappointed in his return, but I'd like to see a few more Mania's or something from him. I'd definitely like to see a Lesnar/Rock feud.

I haven't been disappointed. Is he as good as classic Rock? No. Is he more entertaining than 90% of the roster? Imo, hell yes. I loved his feud with Punk, and thought the second match with Cena was actually damn good (though was hurt a ton by how damn predictable it was).

He's going to have a harder time getting parts after this. I can guarantee you a studio won't sign him for a film without making him sign something saying he won't wrestle for x amount of time leading up to it again. This delay could cost the studio a pretty hefty amount of money.

If he wants to wrestle at certain times of the year, I don't know why he doesn't just take a half a year off in his movie schedule. I'm pretty sure he's set financially. That way he can, I don't know, actually be on weekly in person? Maybe wrestle at least once on TV? Maybe if he was actually around, they wouldn't go change the script on him since they know it's the last time they'll see him for 9 months.
