Wrestling will never be seasonal. WWE has a contract with USA for RAW to air every Monday night and WWE is making a lot of money in rights fee for airing its show. No way are they going to give that up.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

        - We've noted before how WWE officials are very high on Summer Rae. Word is that WWE has three talents they are looking at elevating greatly next year - Roman Reigns, Big E Langston and Summer.

        - It doesn't look like WWE will sign former NFL star Shawne Merriman, who did a tryout a few weeks back. Reports from developmental is that he didn't look good in the ring and got tired really fast.

        - Triple H is really pushing the idea of more tag teams for 2014 as a way to bring developmental talents to the main roster. There is talk of doing a three-day tryout camp next year just for tag teams.

        - Regarding Kassius Ohno's WWE departure, word is that in confidence, he told some of his co-workers that he couldn't understand why he wasn't being pushed at the level of guys he thought he was better than. Those co-workers then told WWE management that he had said and that sealed his fate with the company, combined with his age and the fact they had no immediate plans or ideas for him on the main roster.

        - We noted last week that Sheamus said in an interview his dream WrestleMania opponent would be The Undertaker. Apparently Sheamus is trying to push the idea of that match internally so he's very serious about it.

        - Rey Mysterio was reportedly not ready to return on Monday's RAW but WWE officials asked him to come back since he wouldn't have to do much in the ten-man match at Survivor Series. Rey worked a six-man match at Tuesday's SmackDown tapings but only came in at the end.

        - While not under contract to WWE, word is that Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards will be appearing at the NXT TV tapings this Thursday night from Full Sail University. They haven’t gone through the drug testing or the medical testing that WWE requires when signing talents but WWE is going to use them in NXT.

        - Colt Cabana was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL earlier today for another announcing tryout with the company.

        - Regarding New Japan star Prince Devitt talking with WWE, their talks at this point have been informal. Devitt has yet to receive a legitimate financial offer and has been telling people he's going with the idea that he will be working in Japan next year. His NJPW contract expires on January 31st but most people figure he's staying.

        - On Monday's RAW, WWE scripted Randy Orton to say he couldn't beat Big Show on his own at Survivor Series as a way to plant the idea in fans' heads that there could be a title change and that Big Show actually has a chance at winning the WWE Title.

        - Many fans have been wondering why WWE chose to do The Shield and The Wyatt Family vs. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Goldust and The Usos at RAW instead of the Survivor Series pay-per-view. From the moment they did the big 6-on-6 tease two weeks ago, the plan was to come back and do the actual match on RAW the following week. WWE never considered putting the match on pay-per-view.

        - WWE's #1 priority right now is building up RAW and SmackDown to the point ratings are strong so they can be in control when it comes to negotiating TV rights fees here at home and internationally.

The feeling is that if they can double or triple their TV rights fees then they will be doing well financially for a long time to come. With the recent $8.2 billion TV deal that NASCAR signed, some people within WWE actually believe that they can quadruple their rights fees.

        - After reports of Rey Mysterio limping in front of fans and backstage at Monday's RAW, word from Tuesday's SmackDown taping is that Rey was not limping and seemed fine as he teamed with

WWE didn't think to put a six vs. six match that was built on a PPV, let alone it being SURVIVOR SERIES, you know the place WHERE THEY USED TO DO ELIMINATION TAG MATCHES. Seriously, WWE, seriously? Are you that stupid to not put it on PPV? People would've bought the PPV just for that, but nope, we got idiots running the show.

They expect ratings to increase when they let a hot feud basically run cold for the second time in three years because the same guy got involved in both(Triple H.) I'm sorry, but when you don't show the wanting to have long term booking, why should the fans really get invested?

Im thinking they want Shield and Wyatts to have their own tag matches to shine in (especially the Wyatts). Thats two matches instead of one on the card (a weak card at that).

That giant match would have been cool. Im glad we got a nice 6 man match on Raw at the very least.

Btw is there a classic elimination tag match on the card yet or are we considering the Total Divas vs Backstage Divas match the Survivor Series match this year?

Well you got that one and the other is Shield/Real Americans/Mysterio's knees vs.... Rhodust, Usos and Mysterio in what I presume is a 7 on 5 traditional Survivor Series match.

While I have my doubts that a 7' 5"(which is taller than Andre) will be good in the ring, it will probably be something Vince will enjoy. As long as he can be that guy that beats the piss outta you and be decent on the mic, I won't care too much(despite that John Cena will defeat him as only he can stop the unstoppable.) :|

WWE might sign a Indian wrestler and they still haven't signed Raja Lion!? Ridiculous.

Wasn't Andre the Giant only 6'11" at most in reality? I thought I read that somewhere.

I've read he was 7'0" to 7'2". I've also read promoters used give their wrestlers 2 to 4 extra inches on their billed height.

Even if this Indian guy is only 7' 2", that's freaking Roy Hibbert in the ring. I just can't see how you could wrestle well and be that tall.
