Yeah, I saw. Had to look it up and confirm, but doesn't that seem like something he wouldn't say on Twitter (non-kayfabe)?

Taker gets a years worth of rest between matches though. How much rest does the guy need?

Additionally I dont think Taker losing at Mania will do anything for the guy who beats him. It wouldn't really be any big deal imo. I just dont see the value in ending it. That one event won't make a career.

Thats the equivalent of throwing the belt on a guy and hoping that makes him the best thing ever. We've seen it end up in complete failure more often than not these days.

I say he needs to step away now. Let him go into the HOF next year. The one thing it will do for the guy who beats him is give him a bragging right

If Taker gets a year off and needs a tag match to take pressure off of him then he needs to retire now.

WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young was reportedly hospitalized in the past week and has since been moved to a hospice. She was scheduled for the RAW Old School special but won’t be appearing now.

According to PWInsider, if “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was to be involved at
WrestleMania 30, it would not be as an active pro wrestler. In the past, Austin
has talked privately about the idea of working CM Punk, but Punk is currently
slated to wrestle Triple H at the event.

PWInsider also noted that Austin has not been receptive to the idea of
working a match this year, which given his age, may completely close the window
on Austin ever having another match.
AHHHHH...Punk vs HHH doesnt do it for me

If they plan on pushing Roman Reigns to the moon, why not have him be the guy to end the streak?

I always felt that the streak should only be ended to give someone a monster heel push to someone with a future ahead of them. I would never understand putting Cena over, but it should have been Sheamus or Wade Barrett (since the Nexus helped bury him) a couple years ago. Now the only one who should get it is Ambrose or Reigns, but they'd want Reigns as a babyface. It's too late for Sheamus and Barrett, so there's no one who should really break it.

As for Stinger vs. Taker, it's the mystique and mystery behind them because of the crow version of Sting. I wouldn't want him to talk at all, just play mind games with Taker, show up in the rafters, etc. It would have been nice the year they had the cabin vignette that ended up being HHH. Now it's too late. Neither could carry the match, no sense in doing it now.

Is there a history between Sting and Taker that has people interested in this match happening? Its really just flying right over my head. There is nothing there. Would Sting be over if he came to WWE say next Monday night? I feel like he would get a courtesy pop. A bit of shock pop. But it would fizzle out quickly.

I think people just want the image of a Sting face to face with Taker in their full trenth coat attires just for the feels. But I think a program between the two would be snoresville.
