That fits into the rumor of him winning the title at Summer Slam then holding it all the way to Mania where he would lose to Roman Reigns to help cement Roman as the top guy.

So..... about that BS known as Swagger/Rusev. Same thing happened to Muhammad Hassan in 2005, great heel character going over then one incident happened right in the middle of his push, then boom. It's like, the storyline has been going on for over 3 months, the media waits to crucify WWE when they mention the plane crash when Lana/Rusev has been saying things Anti-USA for a while now. Not a peep from the media, but as soon as WWE touches on a real life subject, bash away.

So sick of it. Hollywood gets away with a lot of things, and the media hardly says anything because they always say it's a movie, etc. Well WWE is TV, and ENTERTAINMENT! Their job is the same as Hollywood, provide us in depth storylines with great characters for our entertainment.

Thank goodness Hogan/Slaughter had their feud in 1991, if they had it now it would be thrown out because of the PC ridiculousness.

It was still panned by a lot of people because it involved the Iraq cause, just it wasn't as loud as it would be today. I think it's stupid to complain about it, because it's there to gather heat, but there is a lot of society as a whole that makes it annoying.

I think Taker is done. And he's 100% right in calling it a very successful career.

Just wish he would've called it before the streak ended. Still not a fan of that decision.

Why not? It's like the old expression, you can't take it with you. His career is in no way diminished.

Exactly. In professional wrestling streaks are meant to be broken. Streaks are meant to have one guy beat it, and get propelled higher for it.

I know it didn't diminish his career, but would've like to see him finish undefeated at WM and retire the next night on Raw. Just my opinion

Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair finished with losses. It's only right that Taker does the same

Isn't finishing with a loss the "right way" to go out in wrestling?

Hmm... I am split on the topic.

I think that before the jig was up, it was only right to go out on your back.

Now that everyone knows what professional wrestling is? I don't think it means much anymore.

They faced off on Main Event and Seagger won by DA when Rusev attacked him with a flag pole. I don't think it's over.
