When you talk about WWE physiques, the first thing that always comes to my mind is Mick Foley. The guy was the complete opposite of the ideal WWE physique. The only way you would use his name and "chiseled" in the same sentence is if someone did a crazy spot to his forehead with an object.

If steen can be near as good on the mic and in-ring psychology, then physique shouldn't matter. I agree with the Bray comment above. He's incredible and is not even in the discussion of the ideal WWE "look".

They could do it like the did WMX where Bret and Owen opened the card and Luger and Yokozuna were towards the middle, then Bret and Yoko closed the show. The only problem is if Bryan needs to beat HHH to get a shot and that match goes on first, it's a guarantee Bryan is winning

Bray's character works because he's all philosophical and creepy and then has this ridiculously scary quickness and athletic ability. That's what makes him special. He showed impressive things physically as Husky Harris as well but people didn't really notice because he didn't have the gimmick or mic time to make it happen.

Steen's not my favourite guy but he's a good worker. Roderick Strong is the other guy apart from Antonio Cesaro and Mike Bennett who I've always thought is just made to be a WWE Superstar.

Roddy did actually have a match against Kurt Angle on a 2005 Smackdown.

He was far from a member of wwe. That was my point. It sucks, cause he's solid in the ring. And who doesn't like chops.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave
                  Meltzer talked about CM
                  Punk
not appearing on last night's RAW. Meltzer had stated on Saturday's
episode that "one of the biggest stars in the industry" said that he would be
on the show, although he added that he could not confirm 100% that Punk would
                  be there.

Meltzer noted that his source called him immediately after RAW and said, "I
was lied to." Meltzer added that it didn't come from anyone in WWE, and he was
told from someone who is a major name in the business that he trusts for the
past 20 years. Meltzer said that if it did come from WWE, he would have flat out
said that Punk would be there.<!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->

Agreed, seems like Meltzer took the word of a long time source and ran with it. He probably should've tried confirming his sources but this isn't the hard journalism business.

I don't know, seemed to me like he made it clear it wasn't confirmed.

Sounds like WWE floated this to reign in a fan takeover

Agreed. It was pretty brilliant of WWE to mention him for the 1st time since the Rumble early which got most everyone thinking he would show up so the crowd wouldn't go completely insane with the chants.

CM Punk was not at last night's RAW and was not in the script that they
went to air with. One person in WWE
creative said on Friday that Punk wasn't even discussed but didn't rule out a
surprise return. Most people within WWE didn't know Punk would not be appearing
                            for sure until Monday afternoon.

There was never a script written that included Punk in any way, beyond the
few mentions that were made. There were going to be other mentions, by who we
don't know, but those were nixed from the script.
Last night's RAW opened the way it did because WWE officials felt that if
they ignored the Punk situation, the chants would become more powerful as the
show went on. The feeling was that if they addressed it at the start of the
show, the crowd would settle down some.<!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->

Seems as if the Punk thing is starting to settle down. To what everyone was saying in previous posts, if he does return he would likely be playing the role of a heel

                              The Undertaker was
not at last night's RAW in Chicago as he was at home. WWE
was still advertising Taker to appear as of the weekend so it must have been a
last minute change. There was a version of the RAW script that had a staredown
                              between Taker and Brock
                              Lesnar
                              .

                              - WWE Divas Champion AJ
                              Lee
was at RAW but obviously not used. No official word yet on why she
didn't work but it could have been because WWE was trying to keep the chants
                              down for her boyfriend CM
                              Punk
                              .

                              - WWE Network issued the following service advisory this afternoon:
"The WWE Network login issue for Xbox 360 users has been resolved, and we
                              apologize for any inconvenience."<!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->
I wouldnt say the fans hijacked the show but they did make a difference in what the WWE was suppose to do
                              atleast..Its not Delaware

Wonderful to hear that my old pal Paul
                                Bearer
also known as Percy Pringle was announced in Chicago as going into
this year's class of the WWE Hall of Fame. Very
deserving honor and another product of the territory system to be honored. The
loyal, Alabama football and George Jones fan will be smiling down from Heaven
                                when he's honored in NOLA.

                                - Condolences to the family, friends and fans of the UK's Billy Robinson who
passed away this week at the age of 74. Mr. Robinson was well known as one of
the legit tough guys in the business and was the foremost expert in "Catch
Wrestling" in the world. His work that can be found on You Tube is simply
                                amazing.

                                - Enjoyed many aspects of RAW Monday night. No Punk. No hijacking. The WWE
folks steered the course just as I had suggested here and at on my show in NYC
Saturday night. Seems like many in the IWC (Internet Wrestling Community) were
pulling for a disruptive show and I'm pleased that did not occur.

                                - Great promo to start the show by Paul
                                Heyman
. Heyman has no equal on the mic in today's business. Who has more
                                animalistic presence than Brock
                                Lesnar
                                ? I've got your answer....nobody!

                                - Liked that the villains kept the heat turned up on Daniel
                                Bryan
who was featured prominently on RAW. So prominently, in fact, that
it might actually quiet some vocal fans who, based on some tweets I've received
                                @JRsBBQ and
some emails here, don't know as much about building a story line as they would
like to believe that they do.

I still believe that Daniel Bryan will walk away from WM30 as one of the
primary stars of the event in the Super Dome. Don't bet against DB stealing the
                                show in the Big
                                E
                                asy.
                                - As Steve
                                Austin
said on my podcast, the Ross Report, which drops later today and
officially on Wednesday, I'd still not rule out CM
                                Punk
's return to WWE in time for a WrestleMania match but my gut feeling is
that ship is about to sail. Perhaps it already has.<!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->
