I'll take Tony over any other WCW announcer... even Bobby

I'll always like Schiavone. Him calling the post-match of Summerslam '89 is burned in my brain.

Yeah, he is. He is the announcer for the Atlanta Braves Triple-A affiliate.

          Still working with Turner.

I love the way Tony always seemed sincerely passionate about the product that they put forward night in and night out.

I would LOVE a WCW spinoff game using sting, hogan, flair, the legends with Tony calling the action.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

We're just a few weeks away from WrestleMania XXX and much of the card is still up in the air. It's looking like WrestleMania will be an eight-man match show over four hours.

Coming out of the SmackDown tapings, it appears The Usos will be defending the WWE Tag Team Titles against Jack Swagger & Cesaro and Curtis Axel & Ryback. This would mean that Axel and Ryback are removed from the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, making it 12 spots that are open now. At one point, based on a German TV promo that aired, Cesaro was scheduled for the battle royal but that doesn't appear to be the case now.

Also on the schedule is a six-man match with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose taking on Kane and The New Age Outlaws. Tag team plans for WrestleMania have gone back and forth this year but it's said that The New Age Outlaws wanted to work with The Shield before the team breaks up, so the card was slightly changed.

At this point, the Battle Royal will have Big E, Big Show, The Miz, Sheamus, Titus O'Neil, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Fandango, Mark Henry, Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Dolph Ziggler, Christian, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre.

As of last week, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper were scheduled to work with The Shield but that's likely changed with the new six-man match mentioned above. There's talk that Rowan and Harper may end up only interfering in the John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt match or they may be added to the Battle Royal.
            In otherwords, a cluster****.

I always hated Schiavone. He just looked and seemed like a gigantic prick.

I have no idea how true what Heenan said about him is true, but if it is it just really proves that point.

He would hide finishes of matches and angles from the announcers. Then there is the time where he didn't want Heenan to pay tribute to Moonson after his death.

Mikey Tenay always came off like a genuinely nice guy and Schiavone like an absolute ****.

I find it crazy that the Outlaws can dictate their own matches, still. They must be friends with some real higher ups.

Shiavone also was constantly bringing in wrestling carny language to his commentary and I absolutely cannot stand it. Any announcer who talks about "doing the job" or "putting himself over" needs to be fired immediately.

I always liked Scott Hudson's commentary. Not exactly sure why but I thought he was very good at the end of WCW.

Im really dissapionted in the 6 man match with shied vs outlaws and kane.

My thought would have been to put Ambrose in singles match with his title up. Put Rollins in Battle Royal and Reigns vs Kane.

As in terms of Wyatts, I say let Bray go over Cena. Have the Wyatts attack Cena after the match and have the shield make the save to get a good healthy feud going between the factions before the split
                            atleast..Its not Delaware

Not teaming up but getting into it with the shield to get a long rivalry going. I know its a matter of time before Ambrose turns his back on them
