Great post! Simple and sweet. I have stayed away from spoilers, rumors, and dirtsheets, and it makes wrestling much more enjoyable for me.

I was legitamately shocked that Sheamus won the strap and was NOT happy (but it's because as a fan, I don't like Sheamus not because I feel it's politics, or he doesn't deserve it or whatever).

I find myself generally cheering for cocky heel types like The Rock, Orton, Kurt Angle (WWE), Cena (Rapper), The Miz, Christian, Mr. Kennedy, Jericho, etc. I like those edgier charasmatic heels (which Sheamus is not). The exception is CM Punk who I loved in his feud with Hardy. I hated him before and after that as he kind of bores me.

I never was a fan of the baby face underdog with unique moves (Rey, Jeff, Kofi, RVD, Punk... Morrison is the exception but only because I loved him as a cocky heel).

I never liked the boring on the mic technical wizards (Benoit, Hart, Malenko, etc.). I never was a fan of the babyface bruisers or monster heels (Kane, Undertaker, Goldberg, Lesnar, Henry, etc... the exceptions are Khali just because he's from the middle east and the Big Show with Jericho).

I put Sheamus in that bruiser category and as a fan its harder for me to get behind that gimmick as everyone tends to like something different. It will definately be interesting to watch and see how things progress with Sheamus as champ.

I've felt that for the past 5 years, every new wrestler has had the same damn gimmick. That's why I got behind guys like Umaga, who had a different gimmick rather than "generic 6'6" bad ***". We need more of that, instead we get generic bad *** giving the belt...to another generic badass *although, at least Sheamus, to his credit, does look a LITTLE different.*

That has nothing to do with being a smark. I just call them like I see them. Right now, it's nothing more than cookie cutters and boring promos. That's why I want Edge back, or why I love Jericho. Just stop with this "He's big and looks menacing, make him evil big guy #3."

Backstage politics in wrestling has been around as long wrestling has been around. Just look up Buddy Rogers and Lou Thesz or even early history of the NWA.

This is pretty much how a typical WWE heel not named HHH,Orton,Jericho,Punk, or Edge has been for the last 5 years.

          That's my point.

Originality is not something the WWE is overflowing with right now. Kudos to them pushing a new wrestler, though.

Person 1: Why doesn't people who deserve a push got one?

Person 2: STFU don't question the wwe everything they do is correct and your just being a internet smirk.

Person 2: Yes, the wwe is wrestling and your just be a ignorant guy just accept everything they do as being good and the best wrestling ever.

Person 1: You do know feds are that, don't you?

Person 2: Shut up they don't count their not as big as the wwe and they don't make any money, screw you the wwe is wrestling.

Re: WWE presents TLC (but first a little history lesson)

I know, WWE should have a strict tanning policy since Sheamus is so "casper-like". Maybe Buff Bagwell can come in and be the next WWE Champion.

I'm not saying Sheamus is a great wrestler or anything like that. I'm also not saying that it's not politics with him being buddy-buddy with Triple H.

But politics have played a key in almost every WWE Champion. Look at Hogan, Michaels, Undertaker, Hart, Hunter, etc, etc.

I say let's give Sheamus a shot. Obviously complaining isn't going to change anything. People complained about Cena for years, and nothing happened.

I think Sheamus will have the title for a very short time, and lose the title back to Cena probably at the Royal Rumble.

I think it's nice to see someone totally different win the title.

And he is getting heat from the fans, as a big heel. Obviously he could use a lot of work on the microphone, and his ring work. So we'll see what happens.

Also, I wasn't saying anything about anyone being marks on here, or anything about WWE being real wrestling. Like I said, let's give the guy a shot, and see what happens.

Don't forget too that pushing Sheamus and McIntyre gives them something that Swagger and Ziggler couldn't. Increased media attention and probably increased interest in Europe.
