WM is 5 hours (plus preshow) and Takeover is 3 hours. Despite that, the first match of the entire WM weekend wins match of the weekend!

I don't watch NXT often, but this PPV has been great! Still crazy to think the same company produces Raw and NXT.

Entrances alone were great. Ricochet seems like a way different superstar on NXT vs Raw. Even Black has better moveset.

It makes sense though. Instead of back to back nights of wrestling, we have it spaced out so WM isn't immediately following Takeover. So Takeover gets their full day before focus shifts to HOF for the evening.

What needs to happen is HOF shorter. Who wants to bet HOF goes until past 11pm local time? DX alone could probably speak for an hour.



Haven't seen Edge in awhile. He grew his hair back. Looks same as he did 10 years ago.

Tag title match wasn't best match of WM weekend. It wasn't even best match of night.

Takeover NY with 2 MOTY candidates!


Crowd really was insane in this show, LOUDER than Raw after WM

That main event was awesome! I'm happy as hell for Johnny Wrestling even if they kinda broke kayfabe at the end of the show. Still that was an epic f-in' match and I don't think Gargano is capable of having a bad match.


Dude is just epic at selling, ring psychology and a great underdog babyface. Not sure how they'll do it but they gotta try to replicate his story arc (and Daniel Bryan's) on the main roster....

If that was on a indy or NJPW show Meltzer would give them 5+ stars (or his matches against Dream, Tommaso, Andrade, etc.).

Needless to say, I wish Vince would take the proverbial "shackles" off his main roster talent (at least on PPV) cause I'm sure they could give us gems like this too.
