Jacy is a name that needs to be called up.
She's been in NXT long enough, and even though she's been the same for most of it, she's one of those names who you should at least have on the main roster and see if you have something with her.
The typical "mean girl" character alone is enough to get her noticed on the main roster, but maybe she could do well on it.Comment

NXTs event that would've been part of WWEs 4 day combo in Tampa has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
The entire weekend would've been SNME, Battleground, Raw and then NXT all in the same venue.
NXT will just be at the PC.
Probably because its NXT/fans in the area are already used to going for free at the PC which contributes to the poor sales, but it's about time fans start realizing how ridiculously priced things can get.
The ones who bought the 4 day combo must hate it.
I remember MITB here had a 3 day combo for SD, MITB and then NXT. People who got the combo regretted it because turns out that buying individually was actually cheaper than buying the combo.Comment

If this gets us closer to an AJ Styles appearance in TNA...... I'll take it. AJ Styles narrates the video package for tonight's TNA Championship Match between Joe Hendry & Trick Williams.

Not that I've been right before on this pick, but I could see this being a show that sends some people off to the main roster.
Trick, Tony and maybe even Vaquer all losing and going to Raw or SD?
Trick being a heel in NXT, although he doesn't like the Melo comparison, maybe they do have Trick and Melo team back up and Miz manages them very briefly before they turn on him and become faces (before Melo or Trick turns on the other months down the road and we do a long Gargano/Ciampa NXT like story between those two on the main roster).
Yeah unless you actually plan on going to all the shows, buying them on their own is the best way to go. I bought the combo tickets for all the shows during Mania weekend because I planned on going to all the shows. Would I do it again? Probably not, because depending the city Mania is in, I'd rather go explore whatever city they are in then consume myself with a bunch of WWE shows. That is probably my biggest regret about WrestleMania weekend is doing all the shows when I could have just done more Vegas activities.
You could shop around, especially when it comes to NXT, and just buy them resale afterwards.
For instance....$600 for a 4 night combo OR $175 for SNME, $175 for Raw, $125 for Battleground and under $100 for NXT?If this gets us closer to an AJ Styles appearance in TNA...... I'll take it. If I'm TNA, I'm taking full advantage of this partnership.
I know they did Impact 1000 last year, but if they could manage some major show, they could easily use WWE for the appearances. Might be tough planning out things long term, but TNAs 25th anniversary is in 2027, and given WWEs multi year deal, I imagine they're still working together by then.
AJ said he wants to retire by 50, and he turns 50 literally weeks after TNAs official 25th anniversary.
Not saying his final match needs to be in TNA, but including a TNA match (maybe even for the world title) near the end of his career would be cool to see (would TNA even let WWE have AJ retire as TNA world champ, even if his final match before he retires isn't for the tna title?)
And that 25th anniversary show could also feature anyone else from TNA who is in WWE like Roode, Abyss, MCMG, McIntyre, LA, Borash, Truth, Aldis, Booker among others, even if most of those are just cameos/for some segment.

Watched four of the six matches. Had no interest in anyone in the six-man or about Myles Borne in an NXT TItle match.
100% expected Trick to win...but I also expected Jordynne to beat Roxanne last year and that didn't happen. They were obviously going to do a title switch at some point and this seemed to fit.
Vaquer vs Grace was way better than I expected. Didn't know if their styles would mesh in a singles match but I really liked it.
I like the Tony D vs Stacks story but the match was pretty dull.
Sol Ruca's always impressive. The Sol Snatcher might be the fakest, most convoluted finisher in wrestling but you have to appreciate the athleticism involved in ones like tonight's.Comment

Well, nobody was expecting that. The fact we were just talking about Jacy a few posts up and how long she has been in NXT, then tonight happens. I liked how they even showed the ring announcer's face when it happened, Mike Rome definitely didn't know Jacy was winning. What does this mean for Stephanie? Is she getting called up to the main roster? Is she going to win the NXT Women's Championship back? LIke honestly, if she was going to lose why not have her drop it to Jordynne at Battleground? That would have made a ton more sense. I even thought Fallon Henry would have been the one to eventually become the NXT Women's Champion of the group, not Jacy.

They teased a Fatal Influence break up mid match just for them to still help Jacy win?
And Vaquer losing the title now instead of vs Grace is weird timing too, unless they want Grace as the next top female face on NXT so her beating Jacy would do that.
But also, Vaquer no doubt was going to be a big part of the Worlds Collide show. Is she still going to be there if she's not NXT women's champ?
Maybe she shows up and challenges for the AAA women's title?
Even Ricky losing the NA title, what does that mean for him? He's no longer part of that title picture, does he come up to Raw or SD soon too?

I think you missed some of the show. Vaquer’s in a tag match, they set it up on tonight’s NXT.Comment
