They're going to do a Club vs UE in 4.5 years right when AJ is about to retire.

As long as they don't do the whole "taking out the stable from within" stuff, it'll be fine.

I wasn't expecting that ending at all. Looking like he's saving the day, then goes heel. And that sight at the end with UE in the ring almost saluting Balor on the stage.

I wonder if they'll do something like UE tries getting Balor to join, but he refuses, doing the whole 'Lone Wolf(Demon)' stuff.

Non TV wise, anyone following this crazy Jordan Myles story? Seems he took offence to a tshirt design put out for him, except it sounds like he might have approved that design beforehand. And he called out HHH/Vince over that whole matter......Future endeavor for sure.

Myles has made it worse today. He also went after ROH randomly too.... he was told Hunter wanted the design and when he talked to him, Hunter assumed Myles approved the shirt design. He has a right to be upset but he's taken it too far. Then going after ROH, dude is killing his career.

Yeah, going on all caps rants on twitter might not be the best call when it comes to something like this.

Not sure WWE releases him. They don't release anyone. They would rather pay a guy to sit at home than have him leave.

If that guy has name value then sure, but I don't know who he even is, I'm sure many don't either.

That match was great. Great story telling. And I loved the small touch of how they hid the green face on the pin.

Balor's promo was great. Nice to see a bit of personality.

                      Prince Balor is finally here.

I have been waiting for a heel turn ever since he joined the company, but his goofy *** smile and his moveset just make him a very likeable face.

That promo, though, that promo was great. Little shoot on Wyatt, had the crowd booing Gargano. It just felt very organic.

                        Re: WWE: NXT Thread

The Balor stuff was great. He's been better in a few NXT appearances than he has the past few years of WWE.

A little thing which goes along way. During his entrance there's those moments where he raises his hands up to go with the music and lighting and all the fans do the same. Now that he's heel, during that same moment in his entrance, lights went dark on whole crowd and spotlight just stayed on him.

Now that's how you add to a character change.

And that promo, first line was taking a shot at being the first one fed to the Fiend. Short and to the point, and not some long in ring promo, or some teleprompter feeling backstage interview.

I'm curious if we'll see RAW and SD stars show up at Full Sail this week as payback. Also NXT has never been involved with Survivor Series before this year, wonder what made them involve it this year lol. The AEW implications continue!

Am I the only one tired of invasion angles and "brand vs brand" stuff? Survivor Series used to be one of the best, most major PPVs and now it's just a gimmick with no consequences whatsoever.

Did someone say Best Brand in the World trophy?!

                              ...

Yeah. I liked the PPV better in the old days when it was random teams thrown together from different feuds.

The brand warfare concept actually fits the event, but they've burned through every possible matchup on the weekly shows that almost everything's stale by PPV time.

                                Re: WWE: NXT Thread

Survivor Series used to be where landmark moments happened. Undertaker debut, Deadly Game tournament, Montreal Screwjob, etc. Not to mention intertwined Survivor Series-style matches that actually made sense due to converging feuds that had been happening over preceding months.

Can anyone recall anything of actual relevance or consequence from, say, the last 10 Survivor Series events?

EDIT: Just went backwards to Survivor Series 2011 on Wiki. Only things I saw were Sheamus beating Roman Reigns with MITB which COULD have been fruitful but that ended up getting wasted pretty quickly, and Punk beating Del Rio to start his championship run which, again, ultimately was rendered worthless because they had him lose to a part-timer for no reason when they could have ultimately built to a Streak vs. Streak at Wrestlemania 29 but hey, guess they couldn't do that. But that's going off on a long tangent.
