Re: WWE NXT Thread
She gives of heel NXT Bianca vibes.
The great thing about current NXT is how young most people are while having less mileage on their bodies.
Bianca for instance wasn't even a wrestler before WWE and came in at 28 years old which is still young. Now compare that to Jaida who has been on NXT since she was 24 (is 25 now).
As much hate as NXT 2.0 got, it was absolutely necessary. It's like a sports team tearing down their team after winning a championship to rebuild.Comment

Re: WWE NXT Thread
There’s just no other woman in NXT who consistently speaks with as much confidence as she does. She knows who she and the character are at all times. That’s the hard part and she’s got it down. The in-ring stuff will come with more experience.
When she puts it all together? She’s gonna be great.Comment

Re: WWE NXT Thread
If they're making this seem more like sports, maybe they make Trick going to SD or Raw like a transfer in soccer where Raw or SD paid NXT/Ava a lot of money to obtain his rights on their show since it'd make no sense why Ava would just let Trick get transfered to another show and the best she gets back is some C level talent on SD or Raw.
Lexis King doing a promo in Minnesota, just down the road from where his dad died. Never realized Pillman died in Minnesota. Not that far from where Eddie died!?
Jaida Parker channeling her inner Tama Tonga in that underground match. You can't go for a pin!Last edited by Majingir; 12-07-2024, 08:54 PM.Comment

Ethan Page putting his career on the line for the NA title.
He's definitely going to Raw or SD after this.
What a turn of of events. December 2023 he competed against Kenny Omega in AEW, finished up with ROH to start 2024,went to NXT in the summer and now by the end of the year will wind up on Raw or SD.
Name something more random than Ryan Leaf in a backstage segment on NXT.
What a wild ending to NXT. Eddy reveals who attacked him......it was Eddy?! He faked his attack so he'd be pulled from the iron Survivor match and got handed a title shot out of sympathy afterwards.Last edited by Majingir; 12-10-2024, 10:41 PM.Comment

Re: WWE NXT Thread
Not sympathy, he just knew how to bait Trick into the match. Finally a smart heel move from someone.Comment

Re: WWE NXT Thread
Reminds me of when Roman refused to sign the contract for the Triple Threat Match for the Universal Championship. Roman let The Fiend & Strowman beat each other up the whole match, then signed the contract toward the end of the match and won. I thought that was a smart heel move at the time and why hasn't someone tried it before. Eddy faking his attack is right up there, smart move.Comment

Re: WWE NXT Thread
Elijah Holyfield, the son of Evander Holyfield made his debut before NXT tonight. He was signed to WWE in November of 2024 after a tryout during Summerslam weekend.
Elijah Holyfield, son of the legendary boxer Evander Holyfield, made his WWE in-ring debut tonight before NXT went live on the USA Network. Holyfield’s match was taped for “WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats),” the competition show that is set to premiere on A&E in early 2025. Elijah was a star running back in high […]Comment

First HBK books his own stories on NXT, now he's booking his own venues.
NXT the next 2 weeks leading in to Christmas takes place at the same venue as...
It's a nice looking venue for an NXT show.
Jaida doesn't need OTM anymore. OTM music hits, crowd doesn't react. Once the tron reveals its Jaida and not OTM, fans start cheering.Last edited by Majingir; 12-17-2024, 09:13 PM.Comment

Re: WWE NXT Thread
Amazing video package showing the history of the NXT Women's Division. Even showing Paige, Sasha and Mandy Rose who aren't with the company anymore.
This also makes me realize August 2025 will be 10 years since NXT Brooklyn 2015 and that match between Bayley & Sasha. They got to run a NXT PLE in NYC somewhere Summerslam weekend next year... maybe Brooklyn again?Comment

Ethan lost his smile...also in the same building Shawn lost his smile!
Someone tell HBK again that NXT isn't the one on Netflix, or don't.
The ending this week, Eddy is definitely being added to NYE and likely eats the pin from Oba to take the title off Trick and send Trick to Raw/SD.Last edited by Majingir; 12-17-2024, 10:01 PM.Comment

Re: WWE NXT Thread
Regal costs Dempsey the Heritage Cup! Lexis didn't take the brass knuckles, but it still cost Dempsey.
And Kelani going off on Vaquer and Lola, finally some intensity from Kelani.
Poor Kayden/Katana. They're in the crowd watching the tag match, standing right next to Santa, and the crowd doesn't even realize it.
You can tell Booker has worked a double show by the end of this one. In a 30 second span he went from calling Dion a "blocker", started talking about building a brick house instead of straw and wood so that if someone huffs and puffs they can't blow the house down, and then finished it by saying a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.Last edited by Majingir; 12-24-2024, 10:46 PM.Comment

Re: WWE NXT Thread
NXT Lvl Up being replaced by NXT Evlove.
Don't think the actual show will change at all, but I wonder if this could lead to the eventual NXT takeover (no pun intended) that was planned before.
Evolve got bought by WWE now we have NXT Evolve. NXT Europe happens eventually too?Comment
