I've watched every episode and Kaval is the only one I would pay money to see.

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
I agree that Kaval is definitely worth paying money to see, but I have a soft spot for Michael "I should've used Hennig or Perfect instead of" McGillicutty. I think he has a ton of potential if given the right storyline or put in with the right wrestlers. The dude can straight up wrestle."Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...
...and hate that I'm loved for the exact same reasons."Comment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
The order in which I personally like them...
1. Alex Riley- His Starbucks promo was the best I've heard this season and overall I think only Bryan has him matched overall on the mic. In ring he's pretty good too, and I love his finisher. His gimmick is becoming more fleshed out. He's not just "the high school bully", but is developing a relationship with the WWE Universe saying "I'm not going to change for votes". Pretty cool. He's my clear cut favorite in this competition and I hope he wins it all.
2. Husky Harris- The guy is obviously unique, and is very intriguing. I love his attitude, the way he cuts promos, his athleticism. He has grown leaps and bounds during the competition and has rocketed up my list. His finisher sucks though. You can't win championships like that (maybe in the 80's).
3. Michael McGillicutty- He was my #1 based on first impressions and I still like him, but he seems kind of bland to me since he started leaning face and pandering to the crowd. That said, he has a built in gimmick based on who his father is, and I could see him being a great heel.
4. Kaval- He's pretty awesome in the ring, but is undersized, has an annoying voice, and is unbelievably boring on the mic. I just don't care about him, which is a problem. The one thing I like about him is his attitude in the ring. Rather than playing the scrappy underdog who pulls out the victory (Rey, Bourne, etc.), he comes in with an attitude like he's 7 feet tall. Reminds me of Taz in that way.
5. Percy Watson- He's so one-dimensional with his "Oh yeah", glasses, and dancing. He's obviously connected with the universe, but I have a heard time getting behind guys who are that repetitive. I was the biggest Rock mark ever, but I started to like him a lot less when he turned face and all of his promos were the same each week (insert opponents name around 5-10 catchphrases, repeat). Watson is no Rock. He is a more entertaining R-Truth and that will be good enough for some I.C., U.S., and tag team title reigns, and a lot of merchandise ("Oh Yeah!" Shirts and Percy glasses WILL fly off the shelves) He is also VERY solid in the ring, an athlete, and has a unique move set. He will have a very solid career. I'm not worried about him in the least. He has a place in the WWE, he's just not a guy I can personally cheer for right now.
I don't really care about the rest.
6. Eli Cottonwood- At least he has size. I like how they sent him off as a monster. I think his ceiling is very low. Part of a jobber tag team or a bodyguard for someone. I hope he proves me wrong, but I'm not sold.
7. Lucky Cannon- There was something about him I really liked, now I can't stand his gimmick. He is trying way to hard with the fans to the point where it's annoying (and desperate). He needs a real gimmick before I can get behind him. Hopefully he's gone next week.
8. Titus O'Neil- I'm glad he went first. His whole shtick was beyond aggravating to me as he bumbled through his "make it a win" promos each week. His exit-promo was the only redeeming thing he did. He seemed real there and it wasn't forced. The only thing I'll miss is more Ryder screen time.Last edited by Streets; 07-31-2010, 10:35 AM.Comment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
1. Kaval - Total bias from knowing him already and having been in some of the best matches I've ever seen.
2. McGillicutty - He's been very impressive and won me over to put him at #2. I didn't think he'd be able to get over as a face but he's done it. He just looks so heel but I guess the McGillibuddies worked.
3. Riley - Very good in the ring, great on the mic, gimmick feels stuck in the 80's. Like Cody said in the video.
4. Percy - I like the OH YEAH! and he's a fantastic athlete in the ring, the best in quite some time.
5. Husky - He came off really great this last show. Seems to be quite consistant in ring of course the great agility for his size and has decent mic skills.
6. Lucky - I liked him at first but now he's just kinda plain. He's not awful but nothing stood out.
7. Eli - Looked really good this last week as I said. Too bad it hadn't gone so well the weeks before.
8. Titus - Yah he just didn't belong in a ring. Worse than Otunga. Came off as a great guy outside of the ring with his chairity stuff etc. at least.Comment

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
Matthews summed that one up perfectly just before they went to commcerial and he yelled "Oh Gawd!" though that was to something Cole said. I turned away soon as I saw her coming down the ramp but still had the commentary. I assumed Kaval was going to be devoured so Riley would win the season. *Nomnomnom* "Hey wasn't there 6 rookies left? Where'd Kaval go!? Guess Riley's the favorite now!"Comment

Yeah, I'm late to watching that, but as soon as she started coming down, I just went ahead and fast forwarded to the Kaval/Harris match.Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: WWE: NXT Thread
Some nasty fat bitch came down and "made out" with each of the remaining 6 wrestlers. Since LayCool can't compete on the show then I'm assuming the kissing contest was the way to incorporate them. I also most say that I loved those booty shorts Layla had on. I believe Lucky Cannon won. Kaval did get to smooch Layla, lucky bastard. I'm really getting tired of everyone getting over on Kaval especially since I think he's the most polished in-ring performer. Oh, and LOL at Mike's finisher name: ''The McGillicutter."
Right now my list goes like this:
1. Mike McGillicutty - Best all-around talent in the group, IMO.
2. Kaval - Great in-ring worker, but they aren't showcasing his talent enough by making him lose constantly.
3. Percy Watson - I've hated his gimmick from the beginning, but love his high-energy, athletic style of wrestling. Reminds me of a young Booker T.
4. Alex Riley - He's got the look of WWE wrestler, yet I still don't think he's good enough in the ring.
5. Husky Harris - Husky definitely doesn't look like your typical WWE performer, I really think he should shed at least 20 lbs., but he's got good mic skills and a solid move-set.
6. Lucky Cannon - He doesn't appeal to me on any level, I hoping he's the next eliminated.Last edited by J_Posse; 08-04-2010, 10:34 AM.San Antonio Spurs 5 - Time ('99, '03, '05, '07, '14) NBA Champions
