What momentum and damage sliders are you playing on? Still these?
"I turned reverse damage off, momentum rate attacks at 0, Momentum rate taunts at 3 and charge momentum in the match creator set at slow."
Yea still using those, haven't changed a thing, I haven't played hours on end so I'm still on the hard level but if I get better I'll switch to legend but right now I'm winning maybe 60-70% of the time but it's all how you play it too. if you look hard for exploits then you'll probably win all the time eventually but if you just play to have fun and don't spam certain moves then I think the difficulty will not be a problem.

I have found an exploit move by accident ( I pulled off the move 10 times in a row without interruption, haven't used it since) that will pretty much guarantee a win each time but I won't share it because it's pointless and I refuse to use it now to keep it fun.

Quick question here. When editing the attributes, are the effects for universe mode or all offline modes outside of universe?

Roster edits I did are as follows:

            Strike/Grapple Power: -50

            Submission: -30

            Strike/Grapple Defense: -20

            Speed: -35

            Agility: -10

            Adrenaline: -20

            Recovery: -30

            Durability: No change

            Charisma: -75

            Tag Team: -20

Here are my sliders I've been messing with and found to be pretty good. Hard difficulty level btw... (All settings from zero;starting from the left to right)

            A.I. Reversals

            Standing Strike- 6
            Standing Grapple- 7
            Ground Strike- 6
            Ground Grapple- 6
            Finisher- MAX
            Foreign Attack- 10

            Damage:

            Finisher- MAX
            Foreign Object- 15

            General:

            Standing Strike- 0
            Standing Grapple- 0
            Ground Strike- 2
            Ground Grapple- 2
            Finisher Reversal- MAX
            Foreign Object- 9
            Momentum Rate Attacks- 0
            Momentum Rate Taunts- 0
            Adrenaline Rate- 0

Also, before the match go to match creator and make sure to always turn the momentum bar to slow.
            hey guys!

i made a slider set based on IrishSalsa's Set and i want it to share with you.

            Roster edits are as follows:

            Strike/Grapple Power: -50
Submission: -50 (i think when u lower the strike/grapple power u need to lower this the same, bc subs are overpowered otherwise.)
Strike/Grapple Defense: No Change (Standard) (Plays great, and i feel cpu attacks more)
Speed: -30 (i think its the gameplay is pretty good at this speed, maybe go to -35, just personal preference)
            Agility: -10
            Adrenaline: No Change (Standard)
            Recovery: -50
            Durability: MAX
Charisma: i wouldn't get higher than maybe 25, so i changed The Rock's and Undertaker's Charisma to 25. Cena, Miz, Punk, Orton to 20. And the others to status (like main eventer, mid card, low card) example 15's are HHH, Henry, Big Show etc., 10's are mysterio, morrison, rhodes, etc. ... and so on.)
Tag Team: -50 (like strike/grapple power otherwise its too overpowered).

            SLIDERS:
Difficulty: Legend (Important: i turned off Reversal Indicator, still get reversals, so for me it plays great)
            Reversal-Damage: Off
            Adrenaline: On
            Blood: Personal preference here
            Match creator Momentum bar: SLOW

            A.I. REVERSALS
            Finisher: MAX
            Foreign Attack: MAX
All others settings: No Change (Standard: 10)

            DAMAGE:
            Finisher: 15
            Foreign Object: 10

            GENERAL:
            Finisher Reversal: MAX
            Foreign Object: MAX
            Momentum Rate Attack: 5
            Momentum Rate Taunts: 3
            Adrenaline Rate: MAX
All other settings: No Change (Standard: 10)

            So 1st match:
CM Punk (OVR 60) vs. Randy Orton (me) (OVR 60)
best match i've played so far.
body damage: yellow after 9-10 minutes.
pace of the match was really good. both made reversals.
i hit my finisher at 11:27 he kicked out at 2.
at 13:32 he hit his finisher. match continued.
at around the 16 minute mark i barely get out of his Submission move. the match goes back and forth and i hit my 2nd finisher out of nowhere to get the pin after 18:11. a really great match.

            2nd match:
Randy Orton (me) (OVR 60) vs. Mason Ryan (OVR 50)
a good match too. he hit me with his power moves. the best part of this match become when i hit my signature move at about 7:35 and want to do my finisher next, he reversed it and then he want to perform his finisher, but i reversed it too and so i hit my finisher at about 9min. the count goes only to 2. so after a little back and forth i hit my second finisher at 10:38 and gets the pin.

Hope you enjoy this sliders as much as i do.

Yea, people shouldn't be obsessed that so-and-so isn't a 90 like you think they should be. Who cares if the best guys are rated in the 60's if they still play like they are the best and beat guys below them.

                Re: SLIDER SETTINGS THREAD

Just played my 3rd match after all the tweaks:
Taker (OVR 61) vs. Miz (me) (OVR 57)
i was able to hit my finisher after 7:54mins, he gets out at 2. then at about 10:30 Taker first hits me with his signature (last ride) and right after he hits me with his finisher (the bad as someone already stated the cpu don't go for a pin attempt after a finisher). so about 3mins later he hits me with a clothesline and pinned me. i couldn't get out of the pin attempt because i forgot to press L1 to increase pin-zone, so the match could have gone even further.
                match length: 13:33.

PS: sorry for my bad english.

For people who lower the speed attribute of the wrestlers. Is there a noticeable difference in speed of the gameplay and if there is wouldn't it make the game a little easier because you base your reversal on the AI animation so if the AI is moving slower then it's easier to time your reversal? Just a thought. I would like to lower the speed a bit but not at the expense of the difficulty.

I honestly haven't seen much difference (If anything, more "real"). I think because I lowered it for everyone, it still balances out the "visual" aspect of it. With it TOO high, it definitely feels more "arcade" (I know, hard to say with it being PRO wrestling) with wrestlers bolting from one side of the ring to the other, and performing moves in the blink of an eye.

For me, it's not being obsessed. I do want realism in my games. In other words, I want to struggle to beat Undertaker if I'm Zach Ryder or Santino. Plus, a lot time I spend in Universe mode, is more of a "booker" so I have "CPU vs CPU" matches. I did rating edits last year, and it worked out perfectly (for me anyway).

Then I wasn't referring to you. There have been multiple people in this thread who acted like if Randy Orton is rated below a 90, something is wrong. Shouldn't matter what his rating is as long as it is playing better.

                        Re: SLIDER SETTINGS THREAD

i just played a match with speed attribute settings at default.
                        rematch punk vs. orton (me)
i beat him in about 14mins. he reversed my first finisher and hit his on me at about 7mins. and he did try to pin me thats what i have never seen before that the CPU make a pin attempt after peforming his first finisher. at the end i could hit him with mine so i get the 3 count.

the pace of the match was noticable faster, but the reversals are almost the same as on lower settings, i did not notice any difference. what i noticed, since i tweaked sliders and attributes, is that the reversals are always easy to perform (i turned of indicator) you just have to look on the AI animation. no matter what i try for me the reversals look easy to perform. i turned up the slider for KI-Reversal all to MAX. but it seemed i could do more reversals as the CPU can do on me. so i get my finisher always first. i hit more moves than the CPU because of reversals, so my momentum is filling up much faster than the CPU's.

has anyone noticed this as well?? i play on LEGEND. (maybe it has to do with this)

this match i have played with KI-reversal sliders at default (only finisher and foreign attack to MAX). i'll try it with sliders all at MAX and report later.

first time was with default rosters, and the second time was with -50 at Grapple/Strike Power and Durability MAXed out.

First match I lost to Cara in 6:47
(no finishers, he beat me with a leverage pin)

                          2nd match I won in 17:19
(he kicked out of the 450 and I got out of his submission finisher)
Ended up winning with my 2nd 450 splash
Ok I did this same idea, one match default rosters, and the same match with -50 at the Power attributes. Used same Sliders for both matches (of Course)

                          Default Game
                          Ricky Steamboat(me) vs Eddie

                          Match Length = 11:09
                          Winner = Eddie
We each kicked out of a finisher but he beat me with a powerbomb pin

                          -50 Power Attributes Game
                          Ricky(me) vs Eddie

                          Match Length = 14:27
                          Winner = Ricky
I completely owned Eddie this match, it was basically 14 mins of just doing moves on em

With the default rosters Eddie was actually a challenge and he beat me, In my experience i think lowering attributes and the actual OVR makes them play worse. This is in my experience tho. I beat Sin Cara with Gabriel with updated attributes but lost with default.

Heres what I was playing on btw

                          AI Reversal
                          all 15

                          Damage
                          Default

                          General
                          all reversals = 5
                          Momentum = 5

                          Slow momentum (match creator)

After some testing, I think i am just going to leave the default attributes and make some guys better or worse

for example, Rhodes and Sheamus could get a attribute boost since there doing quite well in real life.

Has anyone else experience easier gameplay with lower OVRs / strike Grappkle Power?

                            Re: SLIDER SETTINGS THREAD

i just had another match between punk and orton. this time i changed the KI Reversal slider to MAX and Human Reversal slider to MIN for standing strike/grapple, ground strike/grapple, and speed attribute at default. all other settings i leave according to my sliders settings back at page 11. i'll update this as well. the flow of the match seems a little fast, but i had a really good match, punk was able to reverse a lot of my moves (which he did never before) and i reversed a lot of his. the only problem it seems so far is that i'm able to hit my finisher every time until he reversed it of course.

the last 3mins of the match he completely dominated me. he hits 2 finisher on me and pinned me for the win. a really cool match!!

the matches lasts longer than before, because it takes longer to damage your oppenent and otherwise.
gameplay: i didn't notice any difference, in my last match punk do moves on me i've never seen before (high-flying moves from turnbuckle). the only easy thing was to perform reversals, but i've changed it to MAX for KI and mine at MIN and the match plays much better.

i know they last longer, ive been testing it out. Just evertime i play on updated attributes it seems like the AI is more dumb. They dont reverse, grapple, strike or anything. I posted the differences i saw between my Eddie and Steamboat match. My first match was default OVRs and the 2nd match was updated OVRs. Using default I can actually lose. which is good thing. I like to have longer matches but its like 2011 for me all over (no competition)

Ill test it out some more, ill put there reversal at max while mine are 0

ill see how it goes, if its easy again, im prolly gonna stick with default OVRs

For tough challenge, I'll play with Swagger vs Cena, i'll post when it ends
