Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

    Royal Rumble Results

    Ted Dibiase def. Warlord

Fast match, IRS came down and helped out the Million Dollar Man. Ended via Million Dollar Dream.

    WWF Tag Team Titles
High Energy def. The Hart Foundation (c)

Brother Owen got the best of Bret here as they wouldn't allow the Hitman to make a tag to the Anvil. A Birdbuster by Koko, followed by a Sharpshooter fron Owen and we have new tag champs.

    WWF Intercontinetal Championship - Ladder
Ricky Steamboat def. Barbarian, Honky Tonk Man and Arn Anderson

Lots of action in thus one, yet it was a short one. The Honky Tonk Man was very aggressive, making three pulls on the title before getting knocked off by the Dragon who claimed the vacant title.

    Virgil def. Diesel

Squash match that totally backfired. Diesel was overpowering until a reversed Jackknife and a Typhoon interference ended his night, in the wrong way.

    WWF Championship
Mr McMahon def. The British Bulldog

So, I didn't want to start my Universe with a champion with an advantage, so I gave Vincent K the strap. Whoever shall beat him, earns it and we go on from there. So far, his challengers are 0-1. Vince completely owned Davey Boy and will hold the strap until next months Saturday Nights Main Event. (also, the Vince Stunner is so boss)

    Royal Rumble Match

Razor Ramon and Ric Flair start it off.
The first ten is packed with the likes of HBK, Hogan, Mr Perfect (me), and Bret Hart.
Hawk stays the longest going from #14 to #27.
Perfect is eliminated quickly, I re-enter as Ricky The Dragon.
I make it till #25, and decide to watch the end.
Final three is IRS, Hercules and the #30 entrant... Britiah Bulldog!
Hercules and Davey Boy team up to take out IRS (who I had a good storyline for) and immediately after, Hercules tosses Davey Boy Smith over to win the Royal Rumble and have a chance to headline Wrestlemania.

    Sad night for British Bulldog...
Brewers | Golden Eagles | Packers | Bucks | Badgers | Fulham FC

Do you guys watch all the matches or sim them? Does it make a difference? I've been watching all the matches and playing the ones that involve Alex Riley, but watching all three shows is very time consuming. I was going to start simulating some matches but i'm not sure if it will screw up the story lines.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

I just made it to the Hell in a Cell

Opening match Extreme Rules for the I-C Title - Kane (c) vs. Bobby Royal

Pretty pumped for this as this is the first time the Caw I created (or should I say my wife, lol) has A. Been on a PPV and B. Fought for the title. I was so close to playing this one, but sticking to my rules I let the computer play it out.

Of course Kane beats my guy easily, and nothing that would make this an extreme rules match came into play. Better luck for my guy next time.

US Championship - The Miz vs. The Undertaker

Was quite odd as it just went right to the match and we didn't see the intros, but whatever. Also, I think the only 3 that have fought for the US Title in the entire history of my universe is these two and Kozlov. I need to try to fix that.

At the last PPV The Miz reversed a tombstone to win the match which was Aweeesome, this time The Undertaker hits the Tombstone and wins the US Championship again. The Miz kicked out at about the 3.1 second mark.

Random Battle Royal - John Cena, Randy Orton, Triple H, The Rock

In the "Anything to get these guys on the card" match Triple H eliminated Cena first. Following that Randuh Ortuh threw The Rock out of the ring. Ortuh connected with the RKO but it wasn't enough as a few minutes later Trips tossed Randy over the top for the victory. Yay.

Falls Count Anywhere Tag Team Championship Zeke and Barrett (c) vs. Demolition

Recently Demolition got back together after both doing awful as single competitors. Zeke and Barrett have been the champions forever, but like last ppv, Zeke is a heel while Barrett is a face. So far they have been able to work through those issues.

This was a cool match, multiple chairs were in the ring, and everyone had a finisher. It was also cool because Barrett accidently ddt'ed (I don't know how you accidentely do that, but...) onto a chair, and given their dynamic that was a cool thing for my universe.

Anways, while Zeke and AX were fighting on the outside, Barrett landed the wasteland on the chairs (very cool) and pinned smash for the victory.

Hell in a Cell Match WWE Championship CM Punk (c) vs. Surfer Sting

Sting just lost the title to CM Punk in a Championship Scramble in the last PPV, and over the last couple weeks has let it known by cut scenes that he wants a chance to earn his title back 1 on 1 and might as well throw a cell over them.

One reason I am considering playing ppv's is because the computer doesn't implement extreme rules type matches at all. Anyways, in a match that was all in the ring, heel sting defeated CM Punk, because the champion for the second time in my Universe.

Hell in a Cell Match World Championship Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Mark Henry

Was looking forward to these two squaring up in my Universe, and was glad it finally happened in a cell. Recently Henry became a face and so is Lesnar, so two good guys will have to revert to old ways in this dangerous match.

Lesnar won this one pretty handily to retain his title.

After the match Henry raised Lesnar's hand in victory in "a great show of respect."

Not a bad PPV but I have to consider jumping in and playing some of these extreme rules ones myself.

          Thanks for reading.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

I've just finished Summerslam and the stories of my two main titles couldn't be more different.

            Raw - WWE Championship

Royal Rumble: Del Rio def Edge
Elimination Chamber: Edge Def HHH, Cena, Punk, Henry & Del Rio
Wrestlemania: Edge def Swagger (Royal Rumble winner)
            Extreme Rules: Austin def Edge
Over The Limit: Austin def Henry
Fatal 4 Way: Henry def HHH, Cena & Austin
Raw following F4W: Punk cashes in MITB def Henry
Money In The Bank: Austin def Punk via count out (Punk retains)
            Summerslam: Edge def Punk, Austin

            Smackdown - World Heavyweight Championship

Royal Rumble: Orton def Brock via Cena interference
Elimination Chamber: Brock def Orton, Rey, Big Show, Booker T, Miz
            Wrestlemania: Brock def Orton
            Extreme Rules: Brock def Orton
Over The Limit: Brock def Rock (Rock injured)
Fatal 4 Way: Brock def Big Show, Orton, Booker T
Money In The Bank: Brock def Orton
            Summerslam: Brock def Orton

On Raw the WWE Championship has been passed around a lot with nobody really able to keep it for an extended period of time. The story on Raw has been how unlucky Austin has been, he took the title at Extreme Rules from Edge in dominating fashion only to lose it two PPV's later in a Fatal 4 Way match without being pinned. He then had Punk beat only for Punk to get himself counted out before again not being involved in the pinfall at Summerslam as Edge beat Punk to regain the title he last held back at Extreme Rules.

As you can see on Smackdown Brock has totally dominated since winning the WHC at Elimination Chamber. The feud with Orton has gone on since the opening Raw of my universe and was briefly interupted by The Rock only for Brock to put him on the shelf indefinetly. Orton continues to remain the number 1 contender despite strong competition from Big Show and Booker T but despite being very close on a few occasions he just cannot beat Brock on PPV since the Rumble losing his latest match at Summerslam in an Inferno match.

I have to say i'm really having a blast with my universe.

Welp, my universe may be dead. My PS3 overheated last night, giving me the dreaded YLOD. This is the second time with this console. If I decide to repair it, it will be the third time this PS3 have been flowed so I don't know how effective it will be. I've repaired a handful of YLODs so I know what I'm doing, but I don't know if I want to put in the effort. An Xbox is sounding pretty good right about now.
The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.

has anyone else ended the brand split in their Universe, and how did you go about doing it?

did you just edit each show to include both rosters? or did you add every superstar to one roster?

You can't put people on multiple shows (in terms of Raw and Smackdown) and you can't add everyone to a single show. You make all the belts the same. Brand split over.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

Decided I'm going with a 32-man tournament. First round over 2 weeks. Second round in the 3rd week. Quarter finals on Raw of the 4th week. Semi's on Friday night. The final to start Extreme Rules and then the championship match against Lawler to end the night. I may participate in a few matches, but for the most part, I want this to hopefully build some new storylines and what not. There are no seedings. First round matches are probably some of the best, but they lead to some great later matches as well.

                      Bracket 1:

                      Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler
                      Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero

                      R-Truth vs. The Miz
Jeff Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam

                      Bracket 2:

                      Sycho Sid vs. Big Show
                      Kane vs. Undertaker

                      Sheamus vs. British Bulldog
                      Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Henry

                      Bracket 3:

                      Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan
                      Kurt Angle vs. Triple H

                      Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Austin
                      Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart

                      Bracket 4:

                      Billy Gunn vs. Ken Shamrock
                      The Rock vs. John Cena

                      Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit
Booker T vs. Diamond Dallas Page

There is the potential for a Austin/Owen match, HBK/Bret match, The Rock vs. Shamrock from back in they day, Flair vs. HHH, Kane vs. Big Show or Taker vs. Big Show is always good, Eddie vs. RVD, Rock/Booker T again, Sid vs. Lesnar, Hogan/Hart, Austin/Rock. The top bracket is a tad weaker in terms of star power, but lots of great wrestlers in it nonetheless.

AKA: Demolition and Warriors are TNA bound with Husky and Gang!!!...and others with diva DLC will work perefectly I hope. This is going to awesome if this works.

                            How is your game going!

Seems like my Universe has taken a new role: THE ATTITUDE ERA Version 2, the last few matches I have had after RR, have been some brutal matches with RR winner UT vs HHH. This is getting really interesting. Can the Deadman make it 20-0. Well see!

I'm going to start to push the Punk and Jericho Story a bit and see where I can take it.

                              Cena and Masked Kane too!

That's correct, brother. Here's my TNA/Impact Roster, as I try to keep the same amount as the WWE (44):

                                -D'Angelo Dinero

-Abyss *Looks like him and Masked Kane may make the perfect "Brothers of Destruction...*

                                -AJ Styles

                                -Alex Riley *perfect X-Division fodder*

                                -Austin Aires

                                -Bobby Roode

-Brian Pillman *he would be perfect at this point in his career*

                                -Bully Ray

-Chavo Guerrero *Don't use; will fit in nicely with the X-Division down the road*

                                -Christopher Daniels

                                -Crimson -Unified Tag Champs-

-Drew McIntyre *is this guy on his way out anyway?*

-Goldberg *recently debuted on my TNA, accompanying the oft-beaten down RR-winner James Storm in a match against Kurt Angle!*

-Heath Slater *he's my "Kazarian" lol*

-Hollywood Hulk Hogan *basically property of TNA at this point, and I suppose touring with them in the UK... Dying to get him involved!*

-Husky Harris *I have no interest in using this guy, except to job to debut wrestlers*

                                -James Storm *Royal Rumble winner*

-Jeff Hardy -TNA World Champion-; beat Bobby Roode @ my Royal Rumble*

                                -Jeff Jarrett

-John Morrison *many think he is TNA bound anyway*

-Kane *regular Kane, just occupying a needed roster spot...*

-Kharma *hardly on WWE TV, she used to be on TNA anyway*

                                -Kurt Angle

-Layla -TNA "Knockout" Champion- This is WHY I wish we could have more than 50 CAWS, as I'd also d/l Gail Kim, ODB, Velvet Sky, Roxxi, Madison Rayne, Mickie James, etc.*

                                -Maryse

-Mason Ryan *he's my "Magnus" lol... often teaming with Samoa Joe as a team dubbed "Wild Card"

                                -Matt Morgan -Unified Tag Champs-

-Michael McGillicutty *I know NOTHING of this guy!*

                                -Michelle McCool

                                -Mr. Anderson

                                -Rhyno

                                -Rob Van Dam

                                -Samoa Joe

                                -Scott Steiner

-Sin Cara *TNA gets their masked X-Division wrestler*

-Sting *Unfortunately, plays the role of "Silent GM"...this is why I wish we could create segments --interviews, backstage chatter, etc.-- but that's what WWE '13 is for. He'll occasionally appear on PPV's until I develop the Wol... oh, can't spoil it *

-Tyson Kidd -X-Division Champ- Beat Austin Aires in a Fatal 4-Way @ Genesis

                                -Vader *Merely holding a spot*

                                -Vladamir Kozlov *See above*

                                -William Regal *Yip*

-Yoshi Tatsu *Should be fun using him in an angle with Jushin Liger & Great Muta sometime...and great for the X-Division*

As for my universe, I'm stalling because I may be going to RAW in Anaheim tomorrow, and I JUST KNOW I'm going to want to play this when I get back. Also, I'm in the week of Elimination Chamber and have no idea where I want to go with it
