Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
I can't help but think this is straight up laziness. The game has legacy restraints from the PS*2* era. There's NO REASON to have a limit of 50 CAWs when I have a 250 GB HDD at my disposal.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Sure there are. Hard drive space =/= memory available to the game. It's the same reason why you can't create hundreds of created anything in any game. Same way on your PC. You could have 100 TB of space, but there is no way on god's green earth you could run everything you have installed at once.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
CAWS have to load before each match anyway, and they're already saved to the HDD. There's no reason to limit the size of the save file for the game, or at least no reason to limit it so severely.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Since I jumped ahead one week with TNA Genesis & the crazy RAW, I slowed things down before "this Sunday's" Royal Rumble...
- Smackdown - IC Title match: Rhodes & Booker T....using Cody, I pretty much beat the crap out of Book until we were both counted out fighting on the ramp. The saga continues...
Taking a real match from this past Monday night, I had the Bella Twins face Eve & KK. This was actually a hell of a fun match. Is it just me (probably), but are the Divas almost as fun to use?Does it matter who won? I don't even remember.
Since I made Bobby Roode the Hvyweight Champ on TNA, the Big Show/Daniel Bryan match had little stakes, and the Big Show pretty much beat the **** out of me.
- TNA/Impact -
Although Crimson & Morgan already beat Samoa Joe & my Magnus replacement Mason Ryan, I had AJ Styles & Heath Slater (yup, for Kaz) battle them out and Samoa Joe got the best of the duo with a wide range of suplexes and submissions. Looks like there'll probably be a rematch for the straps sometime in the future...
My latest CAW Brian "Loose Cannon" Pilllman has finally arrived! Accompanied to the ring by the Nature Boy, this 4 Horseman product jumps ship to TNA -- and what a perfect match he would make. Making sense, I went with Alex Riley to take the brunt of the punishment. He faired OK, until getting hit with a slew of Pillman's signature cross body splashes, chokes, snap DDT, scoop Powerslam, chop blocks, crucifix slam, and finally, the springboard clothesline ("Air Pillman"). Ric Flair, suited up in pink street attire made the perfect amount of distractions that should lead to a good TNA U' career for the Cincinatti maniac.
Main Event: Tomorrow night's real 6-Man Tag match between James Storm, Jeff Hardy and Abyss vs. Kurt Angle, Bully Ray and Bobby Roode. Excellent excellent, very long match. Unfortunately for me, Angle was DQ'd with a chair use on Abyss outside. Bully Ray was also counted out after receiving tons of damage from Hardy, and finally Bobby Roode couldn't withstand the wrath of Abyss, despite 2 stored finishers. The fisherman suplexes just weren't enough. I wish Triple H interfered, but despite, Roode still has unfinished business between both him and Hardy.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Okay, this was just plain awesome. I just finished a routine Raw match as HBK vs Scott Hall. I handled him pretty well; super-kick and 1-2-3 for the win. Michaels celebrates and then it loads the Universe logo for a second before The Undertaker appears behind Michaels, chokeslams him, and does his throat-cut taunt to end the show. I was like "... o_O"The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Just finished Money In The Bank, here are the results:
Zack Ryder won the MITB ladder match, defeating Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Sheamus, Jack Swagger, and my CAW. This was a crazy match to watch, and the guy I least expected to win pulled it out.
CM Punk and Edge defeated Christian and Alberto Del Rio: For months Del Rio and Christian have been a thorn in Punk's side, so he brought in Edge to even the odds.
The Un-Americans Drew McIntyre and William Regal defeated Heath Slater and Ezekiel Jackson to retain the Unified Tag Titles: This is a weird one. Months ago, a rivalry between Big Show and Slater turned into a tag team and they eventually won the titles. After losing them to Drew and Regal however, Slater moved up the card, so Show replaced him with Zeke and they captured the gold, but quickly after, Show was injured by the Un-American leader Wade Barrett so the titles went back to Drew and Regal. Zeke and Slater hoped to bring the gold home for the fallen friend Show, but they couldn't get it done.
Wade Barrett defeated John Cena to retain the World Title: Wade Barrett won my King of the Ring tournament and would go on to win the title from Cena at the Great American Bash. He successfully defended it here, and attempted to put Cena on the shelf after the bell, but who comes to his rescue? Wade's very first victim Randy Orton, who he took out way back at Elimination Chamber. I see a nice feud between these two on the horizon.
Mark Henry defeated Brock Lesnar: Henry defeats Brock for the second straight PPV to pretty much end this feud.
Stone Cold defeats HHH in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to retain the WWE title: Austin's 5 month title reign continues with a dominant win over the game which saw HHH stretchered out when it was all said and done.
Now I'm looking forward to SummerSlam.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
- Royal Rumble - Finally, my first WWE/TNA PPV. Should be one hell of a card.
X-Division Title: Tyson Kidd (Champion) w/ Natalya vs. Austin Aires. After losing the X-strap at a 4-way dance last week at Genesis, Aires gets his rematch, claiming he was never actually pinned by Kidd, so let the Impact controversy roll. Live from St. Louis, MO, the electricity of our high-flyers should prove an eye-grabber with plenty of.... but wait, Austin Aires backsuplexes Natalya outside the ring!!! The ref immediately declares this a DQ, although Nat spent quite some time on the apron in the opening minutes, having no problem slapping Austin right upside the face. Winner: Kidd. The hell!
United States Title: Zack Ryder (Champion) vs. The Miz. Let's hope this battle between two of the WWE's brightest young stars lasts longer than the minute we just witnessed. Wonder how The Miz feels about being left out of the actual RR? Well, he's got more to worry about right now. After pretty much taking a solid 10-minute or so beating from The Miz, followed by a dramatic pin, I nailed his face on the annouce table and followed with a facedrop on the concrete. When Miz followed me back into the ring, it was near finisher time... So, with the succession of Zack Attack and Rough Ryder, it was just enough to hold off a VERY tough Miz. Perhaps my best pure wrestling match to date -- and I finally kicked out of a pin correctly! Yay me. Winner: Ryder.
Unified Tag Team Titles: The New Age Outlaws (WWE Tag Team Champions) vs. Crimson & Matt Morgan (World Heavyweight Tag Team Champions). Much like pro wrestling these days, you pretty much have to take initiative when it comes to the tag team divisions. So why not have the recently-crowned surprise tag champs who just beat Air Boom last week on RAW take on the dominate Impact team of "Power Trip" (a name I suitably gave Crimson & Morgan)? At least there'll be some heat between brands in this division. GM note: I do plan on using the wide array of classic teams at my disposal, but slowly bringing them out. I don't mind using LOD, the Harts, the Hardy's, the Dudley's, etc. But let's add some excitement to this division first! Very nice touch to open the match with the ref displaying both titles for the crowd! Complete domination by Power Trip, with more spinebusters and power slams than one could imagine. Lots of heavy double team elbows from the 2nd turnbuckle and the great Matt Morgan boot on the tag switch. Billy Gunn and Jesse James did just enough to stay honest, but it was clear was this was going. Up right until Morgan accidently nailed Crimson with a leap of the ropes towards Gunn outside; yet it was overcome with a Morgan Boot followed by an awe-inspiring Full Nelson chokeslam from his partner. New Unified Champions! Winners: Crimson & Matt Morgan.
WWE Championship: CM Punk (Champion) vs. Dolph Ziggler. Interim GM John Laurinaitis has expressed displeasure in the Chris Jericho arrival that has caused CM Punk his title (perhaps taking away from John's own spotlight). He has declared that there must be a winner, thus incorporating No Countout, No Disqualification rules, as well as Best 2 out of 3 Falls for the win. There MUST be a winner. Chris Jericho and Vickie Guerrero are also barred from ringside, so let's see how this one plays out. Anyone else immature enough to do their own commentary between matches with a Jim Ross twang? Haha. This was a heavy bloody, brutal match. Both wrestlers earn points exchanging submission taps (Anaconda Vice and Sleeper hold), but Zig actually earned himself the championship this time through a constant barrage out concrete suplex slams and slamming Punks head through the poll. The best was nailing the Zig Zag onto the ring steps. At one point, I attempted to splash onto a table-bent Ziggler from the ring apron with a plancha, but I could not reach. That appeared the turnaround in this match. While it was the most adrenaline I've felt playing the game, it would've been nice to see Jericho make it out there... somehow. Oh well, now 3's a company and there's always RAW. Winner and NEWWWWW (again) WWE Champion!!: Ziggler.
TNA/Impact Championship: Bobby Roode (Champion) vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H in a Steel Cage. Man, it's so true the RR is just about better than WM every single time. With cards like this, who could go wrong?HHH finally has his moment with the TNA champ who caused him some grief during his recent feud with Kevin Nash, and Jeff Hardy also had his woes with Roode at Genesis -- and a prior triple threat cage match with Jeff Jarrett -- due to some Bully Ray interference. Stakes is high, dawg. Well, this match actually worked out as pefect as you could! Amazing all around match...even Jeff and Triple H got into it pretty heavy for a while. But just as HHH packed the momentum and started beating down on Roode with some classic maneuvers and a back suplex off the top turnbuckle, Jeff swiftly climbed the cage to covet what he's so desired...the TNA/Impact Championship! I wonder if it will now happen this Sunday! Looks like more feuding between Hunter and Bobby and the fans win with that distinction. Winner: Hardy.
Royal Rumble: Love how you're able to change the participants (if you choose to customize freely, you can have 40 guys!) because I'd rather be a little meticulous with my selection; don't want random legends or announcers, when i've been using a wide range of guys on my other shows. It has to make sense. I'll admit, I got a little nervous there for a moment. Whew. Here's the list of WWE and Impact guys who have a chance to garner themselves a shot at either Ziggler or Hardy or whoever becomes champion on the Road to Wrestlemania:
WWE:
-X-Pac
-Christian
-JBL
-Alberto Del Rio
-Big Show
-Mark Henry
-Cody Rhodes
-Daniel Bryan
-David Otunga
-Evan Bourne
-Booker T
-Kofi Kingston
-Kevin Nash
-R-Truth
-Sheamus
-Chris Jericho
-John Cena
-(Masked) Kane
-Wade Barrett
-Jack Swagger
-Ezekial Jackson
-Santino Marella
TNA:
-Sting
-Mr. Anderson
-Devon
-D'Angelo Dinero
-Abyss
-Samoa Joe
-Rhyno
-Bully Ray
-Jeff Jarrett
-Kurt Angle
-RVD
-Christopher Daniels
-James Storm
-Mason Ryan
-AJ Styles
-Brian Pillman
-Scott Steiner
Special Guest Legend:
-DDP
Match highlights:
-X-Pac drew the unlucky straw at #1 (great entrance, though!), facing off against... Mark Henry!!! Yikes!
-Thankfully for the rest of the participants after about 10-minutes Sheamus bro-kicked Henry right out of the ring!
-Evan Bourne flew right in the ring only to receive a Celtic Slam and a quick exit. My Sheamus is making some headway in this event...that is until I received a Diamond Cutter!
-Swagger eliminated Nash. Yeah. Pillman eliminated DDP, then waved him goodbye. Otunga eliminated Pillman.
-Cody eliminated Bryan. Looks like there could be a fued there, as Bryan looked awfully peeved! Then Cody eliminated me, Sheamus!
Halfway through, there's generally been 5-6 wrestlers in the ring at once...just the way you'd want it.
-After lasting in the ring for way too long, Del Rio finally eliminates Otunga, while RVD cleans house eliminating Bully Ray, Cristopher Daniels, and Christian.
-Steiner eliminated my tired Big Show...and I get to be KANE!
-Abyss throws out Jericho....leaving an Abyss and Kane staredown!!! Exchanging similar sideslams and chokes, Samoa Joe sticks his nose in where it doens't belong. Next contestant: of course, John Cena! After a very cool Abyss & Kane team-up (we may have something here.. Remember Michael Cole's "Abyss" reference Monday), Kurt Angle enters at 34 to disrupt the slaughter. I love how many of the heavy-hitters are entering late in the Rumble... But I'm a bit scared 'cause Santino is still out there........
-After Abyss is eliminated by Angle, Cena goes right after my Kane...not to be outdown -- and just after Rhyno eliminated Samoa Joe -- my Kane chokeslams Cena right over the ring!!! The feud will continue. Can you say Hell in a Cell?!?
-Santino eliminated at #38 right away by my Kane...and now Sting enters at #39. Who is #40???Well, none other than "Cowboy" James Storm. Not really dramatic I know...but more dramatic is Angle throwing out Kane to ensure this a TNA finale! So we're down to: Angle, Rhyno, AJ Styles, Sting, and Storm... All I can do at this point is watch.
- Down to Angle, AJ, and Storm...which is very cool considering the circumstances of Angle and Storm's rivalry...but it was left down to AJ and Storm. After a lengthy matchup, Storm's "last call" draw proved a bit much, becoming the winner of this tenacious 40-man RR. He will more than likely face Jeff Hardy at Wrestlemania for the TNA/Impact title if it remains that way the next few months. Winner: "Cowboy" James Storm
And yes, RAW opens up with another Bobby Roode/Triple H confrontation...and some brass knuckles...Comment

I've seen it mentioned before that the Mon/Friday shows and PPV's get ratings, but I don't see the ratings anywhere in Universe. Is this true, or are there no show ratings this year?Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
SummerSlam Results:
Six man tag: My CAW/Jack Swagger/Cody Rhodes vs Sheamus/Daniel Bryan/Heath Slater: Just a get everyone on the card match combining three Smackdown feuds This was the only match I played (Just watched the rest). I played as my CAW. We dominated the match, as for some reason Sheamus refused to tag out. The match ended when I made him tap to the Boston Crab.
WWE Tag Team Championship: The Un-Americans (Drew McIntyre and William Regal) (c) vs Rey Mysterio and John Morrison: Mysterio and Morrison weren't doing anything so i threw em together and they rose up the rankings, eventually beating Air Boom to become number one contenders. McIntyre dominated Morrison until he tagged in Rey, then he dominated Rey. But then he tagged in Regal and the match went south. Eventually, Rey won it with a frog splash and hot potato with the Tag Titles continues.
Edge vs Christian: The two started feuding after Edge's surprise return at MITB. This was a really good back and forth match that Christian won with the Killswitch out of nowhere.
United States Championship Scramble Match: Dolph Ziggler (c) vs Zack Ryder vs Evan Bourne vs Kofi Kingston vs R-Truth: Dolph and Zack have been feuding since the begining of my Universe, but I wanted to mix up the title picture, so I made this a scramble. I simmed this one, Kofi won to capture the gold.
World Heavyweight Championship Falls Count Anywhere Triple Threat: Wade Barrett (c) vs Randy Orton vs Big Show: This was going to just be Orton vs Barrett, but on the last Smackdown before SS, Barrett defeated Heath Slater and after the match looked to take him out Mark Henry style, but suddenly, Big Show, who barrett took out a month prior, made the save, so it became a triple threat. Best match of the night. Barrett attacked Show from behind to start the match and almost stole a quick win. Lots of finishers in this one, and lots of pins being broken up at the last second. The match ended when Orton hit Show with an RKO, only to be drilled with a Wasteland and Barrett retained.
WWE Championship: Stone Cold (c) vs CM Punk: This was a rematch of my Wrestlemania main event, where Austin first captured the title. Punk never got his one on one rematch because Austin moved into a feud with Vince and his cronies. Finally, Punk got what he wanted, and the match did not disappoint. Austin kicked out of a GTS and Punk kicked out of the Stunner. The match ended when Austin went for a second Stunner, only for Punk to reverse, drill Austin with a kick to the head, then hit a moonsault for the win and there is a NEW WWE Champion.
Night of Champions is on the horizon.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Over the Limit 2011
Women’s Championship
Triple-Threat
Nikki Bella v. Maryse v. Trish Stratus ©
Result: This was fairly straight forward, but it had a stupid ending. Nikki had the match won with a facebuster on Trish, but Maryse broke it up. A few moves later, Maryse lands something on Trish and Nikki just stands there and lets her get pinned. New champion, Maryse, by pinfall.
Tag Team Championship
Legion of Doom v. The Outsiders ©
Result: This has the makings of a possible rivalry. The Road Warriors really controlled this match and I thought it was over when they hit the Doomsday Device (which I didn’t even know was in the game; very cool to see), but Nash was able to break it up. Hawk kicked out after an Outsider’s Edge and the back-and-forth continued. Nash finally ended it with a Jacknife on Animal. Hall and Nash retain the titles, and I think I’m about to introduce Hogan into the Universe to bring back the nWo.
United States Championship
Singles
Dolph Ziggler v. Goldberg
Result: Goldberg won in under three minutes. It was seriously a beatdown.
Intercontinental Championship
Ladder
Rob Van Dam v. Jeff Hardy ©
Result: I played this one as Hardy and almost lost it despite being in control for a good portion of it. RVD is tough to defend at times and counters like you wouldn’t believe. Both men scaled the ladder at the end several times and shoved him off each time, but he managed to return to his feet in time to stop me from getting the title. I finally got it once I threw him off and he landed outside. Hardy, the CPU turned heel, retains his newly won Intercontinental title.
Falls Count Anywhere
Triple H vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Result: I needed a filler match and this has been a good rivalry. It was fun to watch. Austin hit HHH with the Stunner, but Triple H managed to kick out. After some back and forth outside, Hunter hit the Pedigree on the concrete and pinned him.
Undisputed World Championship
Singles
Chris Jericho v. Shawn Michaels ©
Result: In what I thought would be the culmination of the long-lasting feud between these two, Y2J got his rematch from Wrestlemania against HBK… only to have the main event end in a disqualification when The Undertaker interfered and laid out Michaels.
On a related note, this will be the end of the Undisputed World Championship, I’ve decided. The Undisputed Title in the game throws off the rankings and I think it really reduces the competition at the top of both brands. My attempt to dissolve the brand split has failed. It’s too hard to keep up and I'd rather have the extra title to mix thing sup. I will make HBK the World Heavyweight Champion as it is merely an extension of his current reign as Undisputed Champion (that, and I like the classic look of that title better than the new WWE belt; why oh why couldn’t they have included the classic eagle design for the belt? It’s in Legends of Wrestlemania for pete’s sake) and Smackdown will hold a small tournament to decide who the new WWE Champion is for their brand.Last edited by alifeincomplete; 01-06-2012, 01:30 PM.The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. Going to start pretty thin, hopefully with reading others I will get more indepth, so thanks for reading and wish me luck.. Any help/assistance would be appreciated.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
So after restaring my universe three times i think i finally have it the way i want it. I am going to let it work itself out now and see how it goes. I had my roster as it was in real life but i saw the same matches to often so i added the legends i wanted to try get a bit more variation. I have kept the Divas on a dead brand simply because they keep showing up in storylines i didnt want them too.
