Same titles on both shows. Having a different minor title does not end the split as the rankings are still separate. They got mixed up a bit when I changed them as guys like Kane and Big Show are way down the list, but a few wins will put them in a normal position. Only thing I don't like is keeping a manual list for other belts, but hey, I guess it works. 2 belts isn't enough for the ridiculous amount of wrestlers I'll have once I get all my CAW's.

If i remember correctly i have 24 on Raw and 23 on Smackdown so i dont know how if that is to many wrestlers to have only the Major and Minor titles being the Unified title and the IC title. I dont mind the Divas as i have the dlc and Tag Teams i quite like if the cpu books enough matches.
I cant decide what would be the best way to go, I think that having the IC on Smackdown and US on Raw may work better as the amount of wrestlers may be to much for just two belts.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Why is it the rankings are screwed up when I replace the current IC title with the classic IC title? When I go to classic, the top contenders for the title are the same as the ones for the World Title. The current IC title doesn't have that issue.
Is that something that will go away if I get through a few shows, or are rankings screwed up for classic belts?Comment

Classic IC belt is a mess. If you change it to the current belt the rankings will be fixed.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Elimination Chamber Match Card (I've restarted a few times, hence why I'm only at Elimination Chamber)
Last Man Standing
Cody Rhodes v Ted DiBiase
Ever since DiBiase cost Rhodes the strap at the Rumble, these two have been at it. Interefering in each others matches, jumping the other before their own matches and even battling in the parking lot. The LMS stipulation fits this perfectly, as on SmackDown, Rhodes was jumped before the match by DiBiase, who hid under the ring. After DiBiase tossed him in to officially start the match, Rhodes leaves the ring and starts walking up the ramp. DiBiase follows and throws Rhodes back into the ring. Rhodes leaves again, this time grabbing the ring bell. DiBiase chases once again and pays the price, as Rhodes stands over him as SD goes off the air. One of the most anticipated matchs on the card.
Cage Match
R-Truth and Jack Swagger v The Miz and Big Show
Scheduled a few weeks in a row as Remarkable Matches, they started with jumpings and ended in all out brawls, causing a DQ. With a cage surrounding them, no team can get an advantage.. or run.
Intercontential Championship
Christian (C) v William Regal
Filler match, Regal has won 4 straight on Superstars, including a #1 Contender 6-man Elimination match to get this match.
WWE Tag Team Titles
Air Boom (C) v The Usos
The Usos have been on a roll as of late, knocking off the Briscoes, the Worlds Greatest Tag Team and ZigSwag. They each beat Air Boom in singles competition on Smackdown, so momentum is in their favor.
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber
CM Punk (C) v Kane v John Cena v Alberto Del Rio v Dolph Ziggler v Brock Lesnar
No real story behind this except Kane and Del Rio were in the final three of the Rumble, earning the chance at EC. Dolph and Lesnar have been fueding and Cena, sadly, is Cena.
World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender Elimination Chamber
Wade Barrett v Undertaker v Mark Henry v Chris Jericho v Bobby Lashley v Shawn Michaels
Orton has been unbeatable, winning a Gauntlet on SD two weeks to be safe from a match at Elimination Chamber. So, with Rey Mysterio (Royal Rumble winner) choosing to challenge for the WWE title, we need a #1 Contender for Orton at WM.Brewers | Golden Eagles | Packers | Bucks | Badgers | Fulham FC

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
I wont have any caw's and if i do it will most likely be Jericho if he returns. I basically have the rosters as they are today and i have guys like the Rock, Stone Cold, Nash etc on a dead brand.

This is also why I think people shouldn't just dump 50 CAW's right into Universe. Do a few at a time and you can get the good guys up high in the rankings by beating guys you want to drop or be more minor title contenders.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Other rivalries are spotty. There's this thing the CPU keeps trying to do between Rob Van Dam and Bret Hart and I'm trying to prevent it because I have Hart on a dead brand. Mark Henry and Big Show keep fighting too as do a couple of the women. I've had a couple of alliances form on their own simply by pairing people together in matches; Michaels and Kevin Nash are among these.
Cross-brand stuff is hit and miss too. If it's in contention for a specific title then there is no regard to brand. If it's just a normal match, then the brand rules apply (e.g., Raw guys fight only Raw guys).
PPVs are lame without my hand it crafting them. The CPU decides that it will have the same title defended twice in one night... or the Elimination Chamber event lacked an Elimination Chamber match. Weird stuff like that. I'm hoping to find a better work around to all this, but I hate the idea of two World Titles at once.Last edited by alifeincomplete; 12-27-2011, 10:45 PM.The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Well, my major feud has been Jericho and HBK which the computer did all on its own within the first week of universe. Jericho is a classic heel, attacking Michaels at every turn. It's even intensified since Jericho won the World Title and Michaels won the Royal Rumble. Michaels came down after a Jericho/Kevin Nash match, stood on the ramp and did the "discount double-check" move.

If so you should simulate them or play them till the feud runs its course mate, I found when i did my first Universe that if i tried to edit remarkable matches they would be booked every week. I always had Jim Ross vs Lawler (dead brand) showing up but once i simulated through the feud both Lawler and Ross never showed up again.
The fact you are editing the card a lot has an effect on how the cpu will book PPV's as well, As i mentioned about my first Universe i also had the issue of things like only have one draft match on Raw and that was because i had a backlog of remarkable matches that i kept editing. I think thats what will have happened to elimination chamber also.
I have found editing the rest of the card is fine as long as you let the remarkable matches run there course. Personally i mostly play what the cpu books unless its a PPV and the card looks horrible.Comment

HHH returned 2 weeks after getting injured at Extreme Rules to save R-Truth from a JoMo beatdown on Superstars. I booked HHH/Morrison in the main event on Smackdown the next night and Morrison dominated the match, hitting 2 SSPs before getting the pin and HHH was taken out on a stretcher and is injured again.
Even though I'm sure it was a coincidence, it was kind of cool that he was injured again right after coming back. I can just pretend he came back from injury too early.
Has anyone noticed or kept track of their longest injury? I think I'm going to start keeping a list just to see how long injury length varies in the game because so far I don't think anyone has been out longer than a month.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
I just got this game for Christmas, my first wrestling game for a few years and i'm having a blast in my Universe playing some matches, watching some and simming the rest.
Just got past my first month, my best feud so far has been Orton Vs Brock. They have pretty much fought on every Raw so far and even at the Rumble itself, the big development was at the Rumble where Cena turned heel in helping Orton defeat Brock to defend his title. Then the next night they fought again only for Orton to turn face by saving Brock from a post match beatdown from Sheamus.
My Rumble was an experience, I had a great run with Vader and a shocker with Santino and Christian before my final 4 which was Punk, Big Show, Swagger and Slater, Swagger got the win which I don't mind.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
OK, Week 2 well underway here as I try to emulate Raw/Smackdown/Impact as close as possible.
- RAW began with Booker T squaring off with Cody Rhodes, to which a different outcome happened with Rhodes getting the pinfall over my Book.
Next on the agenda was Eve squaring off with Beth Phoenix, and I skipped it with Eve getting the win (but not the title). I now have Alicia's DLC, but it took me a while to figure that you only had to press B on the Restart Match option to continue making your own matches.
Things get a ****-ton more interesting when Triple HHH gets his shot at Big Daddy Cool. Before the match even begins, both Scott Hall and X-Pac run out to interfere -- but to whom? HHH didn't give much of a care and catipulted himself over the rops to squash both Kliq members. As he returned to the ring, Nash is quickly slammed to the mat and followed with a gut-kicking and PEDIGREE!!! But as soon as the pinfall happens, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode slams HHH over the skull with the belt! Not close to anything in real life, but incredibly awesome anyway!
My main event pitted CM Punk in a Gauntlet against Golddust (needed a squash guy), Jack Swagger and, of course, Dolph Ziggler. For whatever reason, Cody Rhodes & Zach decide to jump in on the fray, thus the Dustin/Punk match lasts a little longer than it should. With Punk getting the win, I had to make sure Rhodes landed on the floor before working on Swagger. Pretty ruthless stuff! Just overcoming basically 3 guys at once, Ziggler enters and is pretty much destroyed. All until Rhodes decides to continue to stick around and interfere with me just enough for Ziggler to Back-Suplex-Bridge Punk for the #1 Contender win! Pretty close to Monday night, wouldn't you say??
- Smackdown rolls around, with TNA's Mr. Anderson (Kenneddyyyy) opening up against last week's Smackdown loser Devon Dudley. Great, long match ended with Anderson losing his cool over not defeating D-Von with his finisher, so it ended in a DQ via outside chair. Regardless, it was a fun and eventful match and Devon is certainly catching heat on this midcard show.
Next up I pitted John Cena, Sheamus, The Miz and R-Truth together in a Fatal 4Way. Opening cut-scene shows R-Truth going right after the Miz!!! Let's just say they almost fougth the whole way through, forcing former rivals Sheamus and Cena to beat each other up. Still, Cena definitely got his shots in on The Miz, as did Sheamus, so it made nice for what's transpired recently on WWE television. Sheamus got the pinfall over a beaten up Miz while Cena was thrown over the ring, but it doesn't matter as "Awesome Truth" shall continue their newfound hatred!
Main Event time. No surprise here, Mark Henry & David Otunga vs. The Big Show & Daniel Bryan. I'm not even sure how it ended up, but it was a pretty good match. Since I placed the Heavyweight Champion on TNA, this one's pretty much just for ****s 'n giggles.
As you can see, I alter the matches a bit to allow everyone some face time. It's a little crappy that the shows are so small, so, I try to avoid overusing guys like Swagger, Ziggler and Rhodes who often perform on both shows. And don't worry, I haven't forgot about Barrett and Orton, but there's no way create your own cut-scenes. Or is there?
- TNA/Impact up next, and I decided to open up with another Wild Card tag match, this time with my newly aquired Abyss CAW & Scott Steiner vs. AJ Styles & Heath Slater (one of the jobbers you need to fill the 15-man requirement in place of Kazarian, once again). Lots of great teamwork from the oddball Abyss/Steiner team 'til a mid-match discussion outside. After badgering both Slater and AJ for most of the match, Steiner was too busy flexing and allowed for a surprise tag-in to AJ who went in to secure his finisher on Abyss. Unlikely sure, but should make for a great feud.
Just squashed D'Angelo Dinero in a simulation over James Storm.
This week's real main event pits Kurt Angle vs. RVD. Exactly what I had in my co-main eventer, albeit with Christopher Daniels accompanying Angle to add a little tension. With plenty of Daniels interferce -- mainly the non-physical kind -- outside the ring, Angle was able to sneak back in for a cheap countout victory. Let's see what happens Thursday.
To make the show a little more enjoyable, I went with a #1 contenders match for Roode's title. The following entered: my recently aquired CAW, Jeff Jarrett. Jeff Hardy. Bully Ray. [BTW, I have all the entrance themes placed in, as well. Such as JJ's "My World"] This seems unfair for Hardy, but let's just say Double J had Sting fooled in the back (despite getting fired last week!). Does anyone understand the long crowd cuts that place no arena music and lack commentary? Pretty worthless. They did get a chance to erupt when my Jeff entered out first however....and it's STEEL CAGE! Don't like his odds...
No surprise, Bully yanks at me with a blatant suplex while JJ sneaks over and out of the Cage! I think JJ convinced me we were going to work on the Bully for a couple double team moves...but now Double J will have the distinction of facing Roode at Royal Rumble, perhaps crossbrand Triple H in a triple threat!!??
See you next week on Spike!
Another thing. Does anyone know whether using all CAW's (such as on my TNA brand) prevents many storyline/cutscenes? Of course I had to change all the matches, as they only set up regular WWE scrubs. Let me know, thanks!
BUT OH WAIT....that's not all...as Triple H opens up RAW to face Bobby Roode, only to be clobbered from behind...Triple H chases Roode towards the back..double DQ. Def sets up the aforementioned!

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
This is correct. It actually appears to be (at least on the 360) just an FMV played while the game is loading (rather than a real-time render of the arena, which is presumably loading with the wrestlers in the match).Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
rangersfan: Yeah, Bret Hart's involvement is in a "remarkable match" that the CPU insists on booking. I let it play out and nothing all that impressive happened, but whatever. I'll let them play out from now on so it doesn't screw with the computer's bookings. I'd like to let it do its own thing, but man does it book some stupid, pointless matches sometimes. I don't want a main event to ever be Tyson Kidd vs. Husky Harris. I don't even know who they are, haha.
