Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
I've switched back to the real WWE landscape, after having gone to a WCW on Monday, WWE on Friday format.
I've been doing it for a few weeks in the Universe now, and the game automatically sets up the same exact matches every single week.
First match of RAW - The Rock (who I don't even have on RAW's roster) vs Alberto Del Rio
Second match of RAW - Triple H vs Kevin Nash
Third Match of RAW - CM Punk vs The Miz
Then on Smackdown!, they have the same first 3 matches, as well.
Match 1 - Goldust (who I don't have on the Smackdown! roster) & Cody Rhodes vs Otunga & McGillicutty
Match 2 - Air Boom vs Undertaker & CM Punk
Match 3 - Big Show vs Wade Barrett, Ezekial Jackson, & ..I forget who else
is there any way to make them stop scheduling these matches?

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
If they are remarkable matches I've found the way to get rid of them is to actually just tolerate them for a few weeks and let the story play out. I kept replacing them for a while because the matches it was saying were "remarkable" had nothing to do with the current fueds going on and the game kept putting the same remarkable matches in to try to develop the storyline it wanted to create. Finally when I let it play out the next week it had a different match based on the cutscenes that happened in the first, and after a few weeks it had played out the story and it stopped happening.
Now, if that's not remarkable matches and it just keeps generating the same stuff then I don't know what to tell you, I haven't had that happen to me.
The only odd thing that happens in my Universe as far as booking goes is it seems whenever there is a mystery opponent in a main event match it always turns out to be either Ax or Smash, which is weird because I don't even have them unlocked.Last edited by Deadeye15; 12-17-2011, 11:44 PM.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
I was frustrated with this a few weeks ago, but if you disband them, remove all allies and enemies, and move them to a dead brand, they will disapear after a few weeks. Just don't simulate.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
- Sting vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
- Diva match that I ignore
- The Great Muta vs. Dusty Rhodes
- Vader vs. Goldberg
If anything, the jobbers show up on the Superstars show which is fine by me. If, every once in awhile, they end up on the main show, I usually just let it play it's way through."It's all in the reflexes." - Jack BurtonComment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Just starting Over The Limit PPV today...
Zach Ryder(c) v. Chris Jericho US Championship Steel Cage Match
Not much of a feud here, but Jericho is the #1 contender after returning at WM. Ryder won The US title from Dolph a while back and has been on a roll with help from John Cena.
RESULTS: A decent match, I controlled Ryder but he was no match for Jericho. After about five minutes it was powerbomb, lionsault, and a Y2J win.
Sheamus v. R-Truth
Pure filler match, just like Sheamus last night lol.
RESULTS: Sheamus wins fairly easily.
Cody Rhodes(c) v. Wade Barrett Intercontinental Championship Tables Match
After aligning with Randy Orton, Wade Barrett has set his sights on Cody Rhodes. Both have been nearly unstoppable as of late, and have cost each other matches in the process.
RESULTS: Grueling back and forth match. At one point Barrett brought the steel steps into the ring and attempted to vertical suplex Rhodes onto them, but I countered into Cody's signature right onto the steps. After that it was Cross Rhodes then a top rope elbow drop through a table for the win. Cody Rhodes, still Intercontinental champion.
K2(c) v. Nat v. Eve for Diva's Championship
Didn't play it but still want to see what storylines develop so I watched for cut scenes.
RESULTS:Natalya Wins Championship
Undertaker(c) v. Mark Henry World Heavyweight Championship
I think this is the 3rd PPV in a row with these two facing off. Bitter rivals in my Universe.
RESULTS:Will play tonight
Triple H(c) v. CM Punk WWE Championship Last Man Standing matchComment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Just decided to post my first update on my Universe in here (several years in though), at Hell in a Cell.
Hell in a Cell Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - Chris Jericho (C) vs. Rey Mysterio
After returning to the WWE in May, Jericho instantly battled his way back into the world title picture, defeating the likes of Randy Orton, Kane, and Mark Henry. Jericho finally captured the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank, defeating a very game Edge. Jericho would once again come out on top in their rematch at SummerSlam, cheating his way to victory. At Night of Champions, Jericho would successfully defend the belt in a Championship Scramble match involving himself, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Mark Henry, and Randy Orton. Mysterio would then defeat Edge and Orton in a #1 Contender's Match, leading to this highly anticipated bout.
Result: Chris Jericho wins by submission via Walls of Jericho.
United States Championship Match - Evan Bourne (C) vs. Santino Marella
Pretty standard bout here that resulted from Santino's abrupt heel turn, nothing much else to say about it.
Result: Evan Bourne wins by pinfall via a roll-up after Kofi Kingston stops Santino from using a chair.
Falls Count Anywhere Match for the Unified Tag Team Championship - Demolition (C) vs. Legion of Doom
Again, pretty standard thing in the game (These two have faced each other at SO many PPVs). LoD defeated Air Boom to receive the shot.
Result: Legion of Doom win via disqualification, Demolition retain the belts.
Divas Championship Match - Beth Phoenix (C) vs. Kelly Kelly
Yet another common match-up, Kelly beat Natalya to win the shot. (On a side note, I'm hoping the Divas DLC adds more depth to my Universe)
Result: Beth Phoenix wins by pinfall via Glam Slam to retain her title.
Singles Match - Randy Orton vs. R-Truth
This match resulted after R-Truth began continually attacking Orton during his matches, with Orton eventually challenging Truth to a match at the PPV.
Result: Randy Orton wins by pinfall via an RKO out of nowhere.
Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship - CM Punk (C) vs. John Cena
The most highly anticipated bout on the card, these two men have been waging wars with each other for the entire later half of the year. Starting at Money in the Bank, Punk defeated Cena for the championship, also evading a cash in by Mr. Money in the Bank himself, Shawn Michaels. At SummerSlam, Cena would recapture the gold in a grueling Last Man Standing match, just barely defeating his foe. This time, however, Michaels would be incapable of cashing in, suffering an injury a few weeks prior. At the next show, Night of Champions, Punk would defeat Cena in an Inferno Match, setting his opponent on fire to take back the prestigious title. Cena would take a few weeks off leading into Hell in a Cell, healing from his injuries. As Punk hyped himself up, Cena appeared on satellite to challenge Punk to a match inside the demonic structure, and Punk gladly obliged. Vignettes would begin appearing though, the symbolic messages appearing to represent the return of one HBK. The question still loomed; Would Michaels be at Hell in a Cell?
Result: CM Punk wins by pinfall via Go To Sleep, only for Shawn Michaels to appear onstage. Punk would then retreat into the crowd before Michaels could make a move.
(In case anyone complains, yes, the last part with Michaels appearing onstage did not happen in the game, but for the storyline's sake, it did.)Last edited by xxedgexx; 12-20-2011, 01:03 AM.Comment

My RAW has 38 wrestlers on the roster while WCW has 27. I might try to slim RAW to under 30 considering I'm using some legends in both brands. I have Demolition, Road Warriors, and Vader in the mix as some legends that are on main rosters. It's cool having Demos and LOD, but sometimes it really takes you out of the moment considering that they no longer wrestle.
I can't wait for this months DLC to release so we can add some more actual people to the rosters. I guess I want Kharma to come in and have a program with Beth Phoenix for Mania. I just hit the Rumble the other day so I still have a little bit of time before Mania.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
"Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase vs. Mr. Perfect
Not a five-star match by any stretch but it had one of those ending sequences that I love to see.
Spoiler
After DiBiase puts on a dominating series of moves, Perfect reverses out of what looks like a Million Dollar Dream and transitions into a Perfectplex for the win!"It's all in the reflexes." - Jack BurtonComment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Just about to start Over the Limit
OVER THE LIMIT
United States Championship - Iron Man Match
Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler (C)
Winner and New United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, three pinfalls to two.
**This was a great match, Del Rio (me) managed to lock on the cross arm breaker with only 20 seconds left for the win.
Falls Count Anywhere Match
Kane vs John Cena
Winner John Cena
**Another great match, Cena and Kane had been feuding since i moved Kane to RAW, Kane had won the last two matches but after this match it seems like Cena may have put Kane on the injury list.
Intercontinental Championship - Tables Match
Daniel Bryan vs Cody Rhodes (C)
Winner and New Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan
**Pretty good match that was spoiled a bit due to me being **** at getting guys onto the table.
Divas Championship - Triple Threat
Eve vs Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoenix (C)
Winner and still WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix
**Decent enough match but Beth is dominating the Divas division at the moment.
World Heavyweight Championship
Winner by DQ and still World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry
**Henry attacked Show before the match but Show mangaed to hit kick out the WSS to then go on and hit Henry with the knockout punch. Henry managed to kick out just before the three before going outside the and grabbing his belt and nailing Show with it to get DQ'd.
Big Show vs Mark Henry (C)
WWE Championship - Last Man Standing
The Rock vs C Punk (C)
Winner and still WWE Champion CM Punk
**Back and forth match that that saw Rock get up from the Anaconda Vice. Punk won with a spectacular Moonsault onto the Rock and announcers table. The Rock couldn't come back from that.
8/10 very enjoyable.Last edited by rangersfan30; 12-20-2011, 04:50 PM.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Capitol Punishment Results
Match 1: Kofi Kingston/Evan Bourne (c) vs. Justin Gabriel/Heath Slater for the WWE Tag Team Titles.
Air Boom won the titles after defeating Jack Swagger and John Cena of the nWo with Cena subbing in for the injured Dolph Ziggler. Gabriel and Slater reformed as a tag team to reform the Nexus with CM Punk and Mason Ryan to combat the nWo, but after Ziggler's injury that was scrapped. Match was short with Bourne hitting Airbourne on Slater for the win.
Winner: Air Boom
Match 2: Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara
Filler match with Sin Cara putting up a helluva fight even locking in La Mistica, but Del Rio survived and locked in the Cross Arm Breaker to get the submission victory.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
Match 3: Mason Ryan (c) vs. Jack Swagger for the U.S. Title.
Another filler match but with some history. Mason Ryan beat Swagger for the title at Over the Limit and was the one who put Ziggler on the injured list. Mason Ryan blocked the Gut-Wrench Powerbomb and hit the House of Pain to retain the title.
Winner: Mason Ryan
Match 4: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kane for the Intercontinental Title.
Rhodes lost the title to Kane at Over the Limit, but won it back on SmackDown. Kane got his rematch, but on this night could not take the title away from Rhodes again. Rhodes hit 2 Cross Rhodes to pin Kane.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Match 5: Wade Barrett (c) vs. Mark Henry vs. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton vs. Big Show vs. Christian for the World Heavyweight Title in a Six-Pack Challenge Elimination Match.
This was basically Barrett's show of dominance. Big Show eliminated Sheamus with the Chokeslam. But Barrett would eliminated everybody else. First Christian with Wasteland. Then as Orton was about to hit Show with the RKO, Barrett came from behind and hit another Wasteland. Big Show was the next victim of Barrett's Wasteland after taking out Mark Henry. Barrett would finish off Henry with an Elbow Drop.
Winner: Wade Barrett
Match 6: Kevin Nash (c) vs. CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. The Miz for the WWE Title.
While Nash and Cena were apart of the nWo, Cena got into this match when it was originally a Triple Threat match. Nash and Punk were bloody messes. Nobody would stay down long enough for a pin. Finally Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Punk as Nash and Cena were fighting and pinned Punk to win the title.
Winner: The Miz
With Ziggler out with injury, the nWo was scrapped with Nash retiring and Cena turning face.Last edited by Str8Edge4Life; 02-03-2012, 06:09 PM.Minnesota Vikings Connected Franchise (M15/PS4):
