I'll never get how/why Laurinaitis not only got the job in the first place, but how he was brought back afterwards.

JR really was the best head of talent relations they had.

Rhea Ripley addresses her injury that made WWE pull her from MITB:

Ripley posted a photo on Instagram of herself flexing and wrote, “See you soon ⚖️.” A fan commented on the photo and wrote, “You don’t look injured like someone said 👀👀.” Ripley responded with the following…

“Brain/ teeth. Can’t see a brain injury. Stop being incompetent and reaching at nothing.”

Weren't people joking that the second Stephanie announced she's going to be at home with her family more than HHH suddenly decides he'll go back to work.

But hopefully HHH has more freedom on NXT again. I'm sure the past few years has been frustrating, from seeing what became of his "children" who moved on from NXT, to seeing the old NXT die, to his health issues.

It probably won't happen until theres literally no other option, but I wonder if we're actually getting close to HHH/Steph taking over.

Honestly I think Triple H and HBK taking over WWE creative/production would be a perfect balance between pro wrestling and entertainment. Both guys know what makes a good wrestling match, and they get the inherent humor and silliness that is also necessary.

The only part about HBK working backstage that I didnt like was hearing someone, I forgot who, mention that HBK didnt like those longer entrances. Kind of ironic. I would've thought a guy like that would've understood the importance of entrances. HHH definitely does, I remember Balor in NXT was getting coached by him a lot on that entrance.

Whose are/were “those longer entrances” in the context of this story?

It wasn't anyone specific. Just longer entrances in general.

Probably articles like this is where I saw it

He didnt like longer entrances because it gave people more time to change the channel (In this case, change to AEW back when they aired at the same time), and shorter entrances meant more TV time for the rest of the show (aka what most TV shows nowadays are doing with those 5-10 second intros to their show).

Hopefully that mindset isn't so true anymore, although the new NXT arena does have a fairly short ramp/not much time or space for extended intros anyways.

Maybe it's better we don't get those big entrances used up on NXT? If Kross debuted on the main roster and we saw the entrance from NXT for the first time ever (as in, it was never used in nxt), it definitely would've been so much cooler (not that the entrance wasn't already good even if you see it many times)

There will always be exceptions, but I’d welcome getting rid of longer entrances

With how overexposed everyone is now, yeah. No reason to do a long entrance every week (speaking generally, not of anyone specific) for TV. Save it for PPVs.

WWE's production just sucks at this point.

I have a Roku TV and forgot they have a NJPW channel... I watched Naito/Jay White and Okada/Ibushi...

I watch AEW and they've been weak recently with their IR members ...

But, man, WWE with those ****in camera switches and zooms every 7 seconds is seizure inducing, man. Not to mention, entrance, commericla, brake, commercial... etc.

Changing gears to a lighter topic.

I was listening to JRs podcast and for one episode he mentioned Booker T doing commentary, needing to use the bathroom, so he got up and went for a bathroom break.

This gives new meaning to Bookers line a decade back when he was saying he never walked out (with the rest of the roster) he just had to go to the bathroom.

NJPW to me is the best because their presentation is basically just showing you a live wrestling arena event. WWE has gone all in on the logic that everything has to be crammed in to a visual style that obscures what they perceive as weaknesses. AEW can't avoid the downsides of being a commercial television program, and honestly leans towards its WWE influences too much.
