    Soccer ones are around 25,000-30,000.

Not sure what that winds up being if it's a wrestling show since one end will be blocked off for the stage (unless you have a low stage and people sit behind it in the bleachers) but then you'll also be adding floor seats, so I'd imagine it's at least 10,000 more fans for that.

San Diego is having one with 35,000 seats in 2025, expandable to 55,000. Open roof but it wouldn't be too bad in January there (or November if you want a stadium show in November).

Baseball does make most sense for January, the layout of the stadium though just does seem a bit awkward for a WWE setup, though I like the minimal stage for these shows. The focus should be on the superstars and the sea of people around them, not some 50 foot high LED screen.
There are 29 teams in Major League Soccer here in the US. 5 of them play in NFL Stadiums (New England, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, and Charlotte), another in an MLB Stadium, and another in a multipurpose dome (Vancouver).

So that leaves 22 major soccer specific stadiums in the US/Canada. The largest of those (Toronto) is a little over 30,000. But just 7 of the 22 are over 25,000. 7 are also under 20,000. The range is 18,000-30,000 with a median capacity of around 21,000. Compare that to NBA arenas, which have a median capacity of 19,000.

So, yeah, there are a couple MLS stadiums that could work, but in most markets it doesn't seem worth it to run an outdoor stadium over an arena for just a couple thousand extra fans given that there are certainly more challenges to producing an outdoor event.

Yay! Congrats everyone, Grayson Waller has confirmed wrestling fans are no longer the ugliest losers on social media... Swifties are. We are moving up in the world, but also calling out Taylor Swift fans probably wasn't a good idea either.

WWE going all out for Survivor Series, opening the remaining four sections at the Allstate Arena meaning it is fully open. The new configuration now can seat 16,860 seats with already 15,128 seats sold. They also opened up seats for Smackdown as well, front 6 rows of section 206, 207, 106 & 107.

Which makes me wonder more about Wargames.

It was rumored for that show, but the configuration doesn't work with wargames and they clearly don't need it to sell tickets.

Do we see Wargames just become a December special (we haven't had a main roster December PLE with fans since 2019, and December used to be the month for NXT Wargames)?

The fallout from Survivor Series 5v5 brand vs brand matches could turn into single branded Wargames feuds perhaps, or feuds with brand crossovers (a team featuring Raw and SD guys?)

They'll definitely be doing brand vs brand at SS, at the very least a men's one and women's one, and maybe some champ vs champ action too (Rhea vs Iyo, Gunther vs Mysterio or Logan, maybe Reigns vs Rollins unless McIntyre wins and that furthers the McIntyre grudge against the Bloodline story)?

That international Wrestlemania is coming sooner than later, I'd say 2026 or 2027. Wouldn't be surprised if half of the PLEs are International next year.

                      I'd prefer that.

We had a stretch from Rumble 2023 until Summerslam 2023 where every PLE was a stadium show and/or international.

Makes it feel much bigger and better than just "here's a non gimmick PLE from the arena you saw Raw at 3 months prior".

So far we have 4 confirmed international and/or stadium PLE, and that doesn't include Sumemrslam which is likely a stadium show and possibly international

I'm curious about Summerslam given this Berlin show is Saturday August 31st. Does that mean Summerslam happens at the end of July or first week of August?

I'd imagine it would be August 3rd.

Still gives you 4 Raw/SDs before the Berlin show.

I hope the SD before the Berlin show is just a taped show in Germany like they did for London.

I can see that, curious if that will be international as well or if it will remain state side. I'm definitely going to make a week trip out of going to an international show next year depending on where it is at. I want to be apart of those crowds, just unbelievable.

Wish WWE was like most other sports and just announced their schedule ahead of time. They did that one year when they released the full slate of PLEs and in 2020 they announced three Wrestlemania locations at once.

SRS confirms that Paris, France is also being discussed as a international PLE for next year. Someone said the article said Backlash 2024 was being circled for Paris, France but nothing confirmed. I'm cool with whatever but just do MITB in Paris with the MITB Briefcase atop the Eifel Tower and they have to climb to the top of the Tower to grab the briefcase.

                                Start the trend
2024, MITB on the Eiffel tower
2025, MITB on the leaning tower of Pisa
2026, ontop the statue of liberty

Each time, someone throws Mysterio off the top and he somehow lives each time.

The thing is, sports leagues do so because they have to book 30-32 specific venues over the course of 4-8 months and hundreds if not thousands of total games.

WWE is a business hosting events in different cities where the cities, venues and dates aren't fixed.

Now for things like WM among other things, it's a bidding process. Having cities bid on an event 2-3 years out probably doesn't do WWE any favours when the price for the event is probably gonna go up if you have bids each year.
