Just like before, his dumb *** should've been gone before it started affecting sponsorship dollars.

He better be able to really prove all the allegations are false or he's utterly destroyed his legacy. Not that it hasn't been tainted by all the terrible things we've read and heard about him (over the years).

Right in the middle of Smackdown too that this gets announced. Like I said, have to wonder if Brock is going to get any punishment for his alleged involvement if those things were true. You have to think, if they are distancing themselves from Vince, they want to distance themselves from Brock until its proven Brock didn't have anything to do with it.

Good old Friday evening statement to address controversy.

At least he's done. Does it mean he's fully out of everything TKO/WWE? No executive anything. No advisor anything. No power at all.

Glad he's gone. You know he's probably avoiding jail and probably just the typical "settled outside of court" thing we see from many higher up people who get away with things.

If he were a talent, they'd be blacklisted and erased from history almost as fast as Benoit. Hope we don't have to hear anything about him again.

You figure all these allegations about Vince would have been from years ago and what not. This one being 3-4 years ago that he and Johnny were still allegedly doing this stuff? Like you said, him or Johnny likely won't serve any jail time and that's the worst part about this.

Yes, Nick Khan sent out a statement that Vince no longer has any involvement with WWE.

He's no longer on the Board of Directors. He also has no role in the direction of WWE here on out.

I don't know what'll happen with any remaining stock Vince might personally own, though.

The threshold for 'proving' or getting a guilty verdict is much different in civil court. Unless they have more physical evidence this case likely wouldn't have much legs in a criminal court.

I think the timing is the worst part.

Ric Flair as bad as some of the things he's done are, it was fairly out in the open (and the now banned cartoon detailing one of his plane rides based on a true story) and we know it happened in the 70s,80s,90s,00s. Imagine finding out it happened 3 years ago still.

Not that it's ok at all, but I think people "brush it under the rug" more because it's just like "that's the old days".

Same with Vince. Nobody's surprised finding out anything happened with him in the 80s,90s,00s. But finding out it was literally happening during a time where he's a 75+ year old grandfather to several kids and the chairman of a company that's been promoting women more than ever and being something that even little girls can look up to....

And to make it worse, it's not even the typical "boss abuses power towards female employee". It's literally recurring illegal activities that got worse and worse over an extended period of time while also involving others AND openingly bragging about it!

I know some might criticize people we may never know who "turned a blind eye" to ever hearing that news, but would anyone be surprised? You know 100% if someone tried standing up to Vince McMahon or taking him down, that's the last we hear of them in this business, and you can only imagine what "scare tactics" could be used on them or their family.

It's happening when he's still alive because it's still happening to those day. Everything that's happened the last 2 years I fully expected to come out after he died with people "spitting on his grave" and stories come up after the fact.

If you think Flair has stopped being a pervert cause he's old, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

He's likely smartened up (more discreet with questionable behavior) after getting sued multiple times, while Vince has always thought he was 'untouchable.'

They are both sex pests - just of varying and less/more harmful degrees - that shouldn't be mentioned or respected (by WWE), IMO. Again, if the things the young lady is alleging are proven to be true about Vince.

How crazy is it that The Rock joining the board of directors for TKO/WWE is at best the 3rd biggest story relating to WWE this week...

Once Flair isn't doing illegal things like Vince....

It's one thing for an affair, it's another with locking doors and other things.

Most of what Flair did during 'the airplane flight of doom' is/was illegal. Why do you think the women sued him and won?

Maj, Ric has flashed women without consent and forced them to touch his junk.

So, yeah, Ric is just as gross as Vince.

Again, I said it's "easier to brush off" because it didn't happen within the past few years (that we know of).

We all know the things Flair has done, but the things we do know of still don't sound as bad as the things we've been hearing about Vince just from the past few years alone.

I understand your point, but that is an irrelevant (and kind of questionable) caveat to make.

Doing gross **** to another person is wrong. And Flair has never been truly contrite about his past behavior.

And I don't agree with the IWC in much, but them roasting, booing and hating Flair in AEW was the right move.

He sucks just like Vince (again, if the allegations are true) and should go away forever.

I didn't bring it up, homie.

Maj brought up Flair and that his offenses happened 20 or so years ago. So to some in our sphere he'd 'get a pass.'

I said that Flair is probably still just as gross, but due to multiple lawsuits (that he has lost) finally wised up.

Vince is an Uber rich scumbag probably thinks/thought he was invincible/untouchable.

Both guys are gross and shouldn't be remembered.

I don't have to read the lawsuit since we've known for many, many years Vince is a disgusting person. Plus, many of the grosser or more seedy details have been reported online.
