Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
Putting the human reversal window down is a good way of making the matches closer.
The funny thing is, the AI in general is smarter (broadly speaking) than in WWE '12, but in WWE '12 I lost quite often and realistically, and this year I can count losses on one hand.
It only needs a patch though and all will be forgivenSupporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
You just have to play a few matches with each slider set you find and see how it feels to you. What would be nice, and is a far fetched fantasy, is for THQ to provide us with a better description of what each slider does.
We have CPU reversal sliders...but why have those if we have attibutes for grapple / strike defense already. If those are at 0, does that mean the attributes play out more? Things like these would be nice if we ever got a good description. What is the other one? Adrenaline? We have a slider AND an attribute for it. What is the difference?
Basically, after my rant, just play each set and see how it feels to YOU. That's about the best you can do.Comment

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
Ok so I got around to all the attribute edits. R9nald9, I could only do a few of those guys cause I really didn't watch many of them enough to give an accurate representation, sorry about that.
BTW if a superstars attributes are different (ex: say Shaemus has a different strike power in the "ALL" section compared to the "By Category" section, go with the "ALL" section's attributes.Comment

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
A couple of things I picked up from other forums (not sure if they've been posted here or not):
- The CPU will relentlessly target weak body areas so set all the body parts to 25% to avoid the CPU spamming limb target moves
- The CPU seems to prioritize certain moves over others:
- Running Strikes - [button]
- Running Grapples - [button]
- Running Irish Whip Rebound Grapple - [button]
- Ground Strikes - [left stick]+[button]
- Corner Grapple Moves - [left stick]+[button]
- Corner Grapple from Behind - [left stick]+[button]
- Corner Top Rope Grapple - [left stick]+[button]
- Corner Top Rope Grapple Behind - [left stick]+[button]
- Diving Attack vs Standing Opp - [left stick]+[button]
- Diving Attack vs Grounded Opp - [left stick]+[button]
So set up your movelists accordingly. I'm not sure yet (and I haven't seen) if these priorities exist in the other areas of the movelist but it might be worth moving things around if you notice the CPU never seems to go for a particular move.
I started messing around with both the body parts and the movelists and I think there is definitely something to them. Once I started switching some moves around to match up with the CPU priorities, I saw them come up in simmed matches. I also noticed a decrease in limb targeting."It's all in the reflexes." - Jack BurtonComment

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
Hourmkn Slider Set
Difficulty: Legend
AI: 15 - 18 - 16 - 17 - 20 - 17
Damage: 18 - 15
General: 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 5 - 8 - 5 - 5
After I would say 10-12 hours or so of exhibition play I've finally settled on these sliders. Umhester has perfect house made rules that should be followed. For Example:
1) Only press reversal One Time.
2) During pinfall, wait for ref's one count before you begin trying to kick out
I have experienced the following:
1) Matches where the AI will not repeatedly throw you outside the ring for an omg moment but kick your arse purely in the ring.
2) Matches where the AI would intelligently use his finisher immediately and go for the pin without storing it.
3) They still like to prep the announcer's table most of the time
This set proved to be the most enjoyable for me challenge wise. The AI is a threat every match.
However I have not used umhester's attributes settings. So I am unaware if his attribute settings along with his easier slider sets provide better matches then mines.
On A side note, I'd like to say that I didn't really notice the 1 count glitch until I started messing with the sliders.Comment

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
If you use those transition pins or whatever they're called, you get 2 counts, but that's the only time you get two counts.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

John Cena (me) vs CM Punk for the WWE Title in an Extreme Rules match. It was a fun back and forth, I tried to pace it like a real match in not spamming moves too much, hitting certain big spots like putting Punk through a table and through the railing, but he still was able to come back and get in good offense on me.
Down the stretch, he managed to get a finisher, slap an Anaconda Vice on me, but I was able to break out of it. I hit my comeback, but Punk blocks it and gets another finisher. Punk does the wakeup taunt for a GTS, at this point I still have a finisher stored but look like things are over, Punk goes for the GTS, but I manage to reverse it and hit him with an FU! Then I slap on the STFU and make Punk tap to win the title.
It was a great 20+ min match (on Normal match setting), my roommate was watching and even though Punk had me. I thought he did too. But it was great to finally get a challenge from the CPU, loved it.Comment

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
I used these today after finally bumping up to Legendary bc of Hard not being much of a challenge anymore, and had my best match since getting this game.

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
I did an entire King of The Ring tournament against people overall 91 and higher with CM Punk on Legend with the match setting at Epic and won the tournament. The sliders I have are from UMhester04.
AI Reversals
Standing strike reversal - 3
Standing grapple reversal - 3
Ground Strike Reversal - 2
Ground grapple reversal - 2
Finisher reversal - 15 (may up this to MAX)
Foreign attack reversal - 15
Damage
Both MAX
General
Standing strike reversal - 0
Standing grapple reversal - 0
Ground strike reversal - 2
Ground grapple reversal - 1
Finisher reversal - 15
Foreign object reversal - 5
Momentum rate attacks - 7
Momentum taunts - 3 (anything under 5 is really OK)
Adrenaline rate - Normal
The computer gave an average of fifteen minute matches, but I won every time. What sliders would you recommend for me to have a tougher challenge?Comment
