I have a huge backlog of results to post but... for some reason, I've been getting some weird squash matches the last couple of days-- and not in matches that SHOULD be squashes.

In the most egregious case, the Ultimate Warrior beat Sting in something under three minutes. There wasn't a cutscene either (the match DID start with one but it was the Warrior accidentally knocking out the ref- no effect on Sting). In fact, the result was so odd that I ran it again and got the same result...

I've had it crop up a couple more times with the British Bulldog suddenly becoming a monster...

I haven't changed anything in my settings and other matches play out normally... just weird.

I just downloaded the new belts, and when I go to Universe to put them to use, it tells me my universe is unplayable because my rosters don't have the mandatory minimum of 15 guys. I go in to see what happened and a bunch of my CAWs are gone, and I can't add them back to the roster. I can still use them in exhibition matches, but they have completely disapearred from my universe. Any idea what happened?

OK I finally got my 360, game, and own new place to play it in. I used all the tips I've seen from here (Great job guys) and what I did was I turned off the Storylines options, saved it, simulated a month, turned them back on, simulated another month, cleared everyone of any rivalry or allies besides the tag teams, and now I am about to start. Giggity.

Sounds like you got hit by the "reset" bug. When you download DLC and back out to the main menu it resets your Universe.

Meaning you have to go in and start all over. You also have to re-do movesets for your CAWs.

It got me on the first DLC, so I definitely feel your pain.

The Nation (Rock, Henry, D.Lo, Kama) has a good hold on the WWF, holding the WWF Champ Belt (Rock 99) and the TT belts (Mark & D.Lo) but theyre creating a lot enemies in the process. They recently kicked Farooq (caw version) out by jumping him after a match in which The Rock almost lost the belt to Stone Cold because Farooq interferred by throwing a chair in the ring which (unintentionally) hit the Rock allowing Stone Cold to hit his stunner and if were not for resilency Rock would have lost. So now Farooq (caw version) has been teaming with any and everyone willing to go against The Nation. The Nation has also slowly been starting a fued with The Family (Mr. Macmhan, Shane, Steph) over Mr. Macmahns IC belt. The Nation is seeking a total WWF belt takeover, we'll see how it goes.

WCW Hardcore - Kevin Nash

The nWo (Hogan, Nash, Hall, Sting, Savage) has been fueding heavily with The Alliance (Goldberg, Ryback, Lesnar, Chyna). Goldberg has his eyes on the WCW WH Champ belt! Harlem Heat (caw Booker T & Stevie Ray), has been teaming with Ahmed Johnson and Jackie trying to form their own stable to be able to challenge the stronger stables. Eddie G. is enjoying a long run as Cruiserweight champ! Ace Boogy (original caw entrance song is Beamer, Benz, or Bently and has Del Rio's entrance, great to watch!) has made a strong debut and is on an undefeated streak of 10 wins.

ECW Champ - Cactus Jack
ECW TV Champ - Bam Bam Bigelow
ECW TT Champs - Road Warriors

I just started this one, so theres not much going on yet! But RVD and Cactus Jack have both attacked each other before matches so I know something is brewing! Bam Bam Bigelow and Booker T (in-game) have been going at it for the TV belt every show.

WWE Undisputed Champ - TBD at Elimination Chamber in Triple Threat match between Hogan, Rock, and Cactus Jack (unless, they lose their brand titles before hand. Then they will be replaced by the new brand champ)

I've been getting tons of cutscenes that actually make scense since adding the ECW roster. Each brand has 40-43 wrestlers on them. Still no branching storylines, but the CPU is actually scheduling decent matches so I've let it do its thing rather than me scheduling all the matches. Its been alot of fun!

I decided to reboot my universe, into raw, nitro and thunder i divided the roster between the two major shows (raw and nitro) the tag and diva titles will remain shared between raw and nitro for right now till i can download more divas and create a few more teams and ppvs will remain shared as is

Wait...can you explain how to avoid this please? I spent over 4 hours this weekend downloading CAWs and getting my universe set up...I'd like to keep it this way so I don't have to redo it all!

Edit: Found the answer in another thread. Just shut the system down after you're done downloading to avoid this.

Yea sometimes downloading the DLC will reset your Universe. Some guys are going to say you dont have to do all these steps but this is what I did and my Universe is fine.

1. Turn off autosave (some say you dont have to, but I did)
2. Download the DLC's
3. cut off system from DLC screen once all downloads are complete
4. Cut system back on, make sure everything is as it should be (movesets, teams, etc) Then cut autosave back on
5. Enjoy

Once again there are going to be some guys that say all of this is not necessary and they are probably right but this is what I did and mines is working fine

I'm currently planning out a universe mode, but I need to get the game. My universe mode will probably be based on wrestling in 2003 when Triple H was at the top of his game. I would maybe add a twist to the universe mode and bring in some Attitude Era superstars. Quick question though, is In Your House easy to make in the create an arena mode?

Mr. Money in the Bank opened the show. He and Laurinaitis gloated about their Money In The Bank win, and talked about how David Otunga was the next WWE Champion. One man had enough of Otunga running his mouth - "FEED ME!!!" - Ryback's music played, and the monster made his way to the ring, and left David Otunga laying following a Shell Shock.

Tensai loses his debut match to the Funkasaurus.

The Miz came to the ring to gloat about his victory over Triple H at Money In The Bank, claiming that he's beat everyone in DX, and all opponents worth a damn on Monday Night Raw. Eddie Guerrero took offense to those comments and met Miz in the ring, telling him to bring the Intercontinental Championship back to Smackdown where it belongs. The Miz didn't take too well to Guerrero's interruption and gave him a Skull Crushing Finale for his troubles.

Triple H def. John Laurinaitis

Mankind def. CM Punk
The two competitors were joined ringside by The Rock and Brock Lesnar respectively. The Rock and Lesnar went at each other outside the ring, getting themselves ejected. Mankind was able to get the upper hand, finishing off CM Punk after a Double Arm DDT

Welcome to Smackdown and... What's going on? Cody Rhodes is assaulting Shane McMahon backstage! We need to get someone back there right away!

Eddie Guerrero def. The Miz
Eddie Guerrero came out to call out The Miz, once again challenging him to the Intercontinental Championship. Eddie proposed a match that if he could beat The Miz, Miz would have to come to Smackdown and defend his belt against Smackdown superstars. The champion didn't go down easily, but Latino Heat defeated The Miz, bringing the Most Must See Superstar to Smackdown.

Not learning his lesson on Raw, David Otunga made his way to the ring to put Stone Cold Steve Austin on notice, that at any time he could cash in his contract and the World Heavyweight Championship would be his! Needless to say, the Texas Rattlesnake didn't take too kindly to this. Austin made his way to the ring, gave a Stunner to Otunga, and celebrated with a couple Steveweisers.

Rey Mysterio def. Alberto Del Rio via DQ
Alberto Del Rio got a little too happy with the steel chairs after the referee was knocked out, and got himself disqualified.

Sheamus def. Randy Orton
Orton didn't stand much chance, after Sheamus attacked Orton from behind and hit him with a Broque Kick to start the match. Randy Orton was able to kick out, and showed signs of life countering a second Broque Kick, but Sheamus countered Orton's RKO attempt and finished Orton with a 2nd Broque Kick. After the match, Sheamus grabbed a chair from ringside and started beating Orton with it as Smackdown went off the air.

I shut the ps3 off and turned it back on 10 minutes later and my universe was back to normal. I don't think I would have had the patience to restart my universe, since it is almost entirely CAWs. I've had the game for a month and I'm still tweeking guys movesets, I don't think I could just start from scratch

We basically are forced to use their match cards to get storylines going, that sucks! If they release an update for this game to make universe start storylines based on what you're booking I'll be so jolly!

Scott Steiner, most title defenses currently in my universe. After this week's Raw, defended for the 10th time!
This past Raw Freakzilla was in a 6-man over the top Battle Royal. (Me being John Cena...and no I hate Cena, nor did I throw the match lol) Steiner eliminated Lesnar, I threw out Buff Bagwell and HHH, and Scott got Kevin Nash, so it came down to Cena v Steiner for the WCW Heavyweight Title....after bashing me around I got momentum on my side, but 4 attempts and I couldn't get Steiner out. Then Freakzilla rolled in and beat the holy crap out of Cena, broke his back with a Steiner Recliner, and hit an atomic drop by the ropes that Cena bounced over the top on.

I swear I didn't throw the match...Steiner is the man!
