Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
I'm going to start a second show comprised almost entirely of tag teams. Because the AI is stupid I'm curious to see how often the game will make tag teams face each other. I'm also going to make most of the ppv's saturday nights main event, I'm tired of the stupid gimmick ppv's.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
For my Universe, I'm probably gonna add one more main-event player to Smackdown, as a final entrant to the World Title tournament. I was thinkingSpoilerKENTA, Sting, or somebody else
Also as I've read, people have had titles on people that aren't the four main titles on the brand but can still be held, like say the European or Cruiserweight titles. I might add a few like that so that those that aren't in title feuds or at least the main title feuds have something to fight for - the low/mid-card guys or maybe top guys, it depends on what feuds are going on. But it'd be fun to have an extra title, my thought is it could be defended anytime, any show, similar to the Hardcore Title.
I don't know that I want it to be exclusively for cruiserweights and I'm not a huge fan of the Hardcore Title design so I might go for one of the extra belts in the game (like a WCW title or one of the old WWE ones) or create a new one - though I haven't tried the latter yet.
I'm excited to jump back in, I hope it's soon.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
yeah I got the idea from this forum and I'm pretty sure it was your post I read. I'm going to have KOTR as well in June but give it a MITB theme because KOTR used to mean a title shot at summerslam but I can't put KOTR into universe so I figured MITB instead so some sort of title shot is involved. But I'll have rumble, mania, KOTR, Summerslam and survivor series and the rest SNME.Comment

Match 1: Dolph Ziggler def CM Punk (c)
In a non title match, Dolph Ziggler got the best out of CM Punk...but of course he had help. Although it was not Brock Lesnar, another beast of a man came out to help Dolph Ziggler. WWE Sources have identified this man as Big E Langston. With Mr. McMahon, Big E Langston and possibly Brock Lesnar in his corner, it will be tough for anyone to NOT bet on Dolph Ziggler walking away with the WWE title this Sunday at Capitol Punishment.
Match 2: Wade Barrett def R-Truth in a Falls Count Anywhere Match
In the most violent match of the new year, we saw Wade Barrett defeat R-Truth. These men fought all over the arena using steel steps, chairs, crutches and anything they could get their hands on. We saw Wade Barrett pick up the win after putting R-Truth through the barricade.
Match 3: The Rhodes Scholars (c) def Team Hell No in a non title match
Match 4: Tensai def Alberto Del Rio
Match 5: Antonio Cesaro (c) def Ryback in a non title match
<center></center>
Match 1: Seth Rollins def Epico
It seems like Primo is getting a bit worried about Seth Rollins as he sent his tag team partner Epico to try and take him out. It was to no avail as Seth Rollins picked up another victory here on NXT.
Match 2: Kassius Ohno def Hunico
Poor Hunico just cannot catch a break. For the third week in a row, Hunico had to face a debuting superstar with whom no one is familiar with. The match saw Ohno dominate throughout showing off impressive skills. Hunico has now faced El Generico, Seth Rollins, and Kassius Ohno in three straight weeks.
Match 3: Justin Gabriel def Tyson Kidd
Match 4: Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara def Team Hell No
Match 5: The Usos def Team CoBro
The Usos got right back on track after losing last week to defeat Team CoBro in our main event. This win was much needed for The Usos as they seek their first Tag Team Championships in the WWE.Last edited by franch1se; 01-13-2013, 11:34 PM.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Ya I have the Cruiserweight belt going. The only problem (at least I haven't seen it) is that it doesn't show up as "Minor" on any of the shows so there is no No#1 contenders and rankings for it. My only thought was to maybe make a new major show and have that as its championship. Right now I have RAW and NXT who both only use the RAW roster and Smackdown and Superstars using only the Smackdown rosters. I use NXT a lot for tag team matches and the Cruiserweight title and give those divisions shine.
And as for "letting it shine", my thought was a new title would give even those who aren't high on the card an opportunity to hold a title or perhaps serve as a stepping stone to a higher title. Anyone could win it, any time, any show. Ex. Jinder Mahal could win it on Smackdown, WWE Champ C.M. Punk could beat him for it on RAW, then say, Jack Swagger wins it on Main Event, lol.
But yeah, that's how I'm feeling like going about it.Last edited by philliesfan136; 01-13-2013, 11:56 PM.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Match 1- Matt Hardy w/ Jeff Hardy Def. D-von w/ Bubba Ray
Matt Hardy had a impressive win over one half of the dudley boys d-von. It was a crazy match with double teams from the hardys and double teams from the dudley boys, but after a twist of fate through a table, i think d-von had enough.
Match 2- Hardcore Championship The Big Boss Man(c) Def. Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
The connecticet blue blood was the #2 contender for the hardcore title, so why not have the winner vs #1 contender Road dogg at unforgiven. Boss man retained in a not so hardcore match. The only highlight would be when HHH spinebustered boss man on a steel chair.
Match 3- Lita Def. Trish Startus
The Womens champ was beaten by her #1 contender Lite after a moonsault with a clean 1...2...3
Main Event 1- Shawn Michaels vs Mankind vs Bret Hart Special Ref- Triple H
The top three contenders for the WWF title were these three men, so I added my own stipulation that the person who was pinned would not be in a #1 contenders match against the other two... so really the worst out of the three is basically eliminated and next week the person who got the pin will be the person who did nothing. I was the ref so i wasnt really focusing I was mucking around punching people and running away, slow counting fast counting. So the winner of this match was mankind pinning bret. (i did it purposley cause brets tag champ)
Main Event 2- #1 Contenders Match The Acolytes Def. New Age outlaws
The opening cutscene saw road dogg high fiving billy gunn and going to the apron signalling gunn will start us of, but the bell rang and road dogg and farooq started us off. (lol) Later on another cutscene was held and we saw Billy Gunn come into the ring and clothesline Dogg costing the two the match. (Oh snap I got a storyline in mind)Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Match 1- Kurt Angle Def. Ken Shamrock
:O what a match, submissions, suplexes everything was in this match. Nobody showed any sign of weekness, always kicked out at 1 and would not tap out. The eurocontenental champ Angle got the best out of Ken with three angle slams and multiple submissions but a sleeperhold seemed to put ken away.
Match 2- Stephanie McMahon Def. Lita
simmed but im guessing Steph put away Lita with her finisher
Match 3- The Acolytes Def. Too Cool
I dont know if I accidently made the match expireince quick but this match was so damn click I cant say anything but the Acolytes hit there tag team finisher on Scotty. I guess the Acolytes looking dominant heading into Unforgiven
Match 4- X-Pac Def. The Godfather
Cutscene- As X-Pac was walking to the ring Chris Jericho out of know where attacked Pac from behind, hit him against the steel steps and through him in the ring. Because I want an X-Pac push I hunted Jericho down and attacked him when he waas walking back up the ramp. But godfather followed. It was us thre fighting at the stage for a few seconds. Pretty cool. This match showed Godfathers strength, he kept revearsing my moves by flipping X-Pac over his head. Really annoying. But a broncco and a faceplant (I dont know his finishers name) seemed to keep godfather down
Main Event- #1 Contenders Match The Undertaker Def. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kane
This match saw Kane looking weak by getting a whoop assbeating by Austin, showed Austin Durability by kicking out of lots of pin after being double teamed finishered and smacked with a steel chair. And Undertaker looking like a little B!@#% waiting outside nearly the whole match till Kane was beat. Then he went for austin. Most of Undertakers attacks on austin were a double team move with Kane. Kane also did some of the work on Austin by chokeslamming him through the announce table. Undertaker tombstoned Austin but austin somehow got a rope break in triple threat. But a steel chair shot finished Austin and taker got the pin and Kane just stared at the. WTF! Austin I think is the true #1 contender but what can you do.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Road Dogg- Apparently its gonna be me... D O Double G vs The Big Boss Man for the Hardcore Title. As much as I love A title around my waist that match will have to wait cause Billy, I want YOU at unforgiven. You and me in a hardcore match. Winner is the #1 Contender for The Big Boss Mans Title. AND IF YOUR NOT DONE WITH THAT, I GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA. SUCK IT!!!!
Match 1- Matt Hardy Def. Bubba Ray w/ D-Von
Jeff Hardy was getting ready for his match up with billy gunn up next so he could be with his brother. But Hardy seemed to manage dealing with not only Bubba Ray but D-Von at times to.
Match 2- Jeff Hardy Def. Billy Gunn
As the match started Billy Gunn clotheslined the referee. As the ref was out Road Dogg came running down the ramp and in the ring. He punched Gunn repeatedly until hitting two pump hamdle falling powerslam. As Jeff went for the pin. Road Dogg woke the ref up and gave Hardy the win
Match 3- The Hart Foundation Def. Edge & Christian
Bulldog and Bret were looking dominant but Edge and Christian had there moments were they looked like they were gonna win. late in the match bret tried going for The Sharpshooter many times on christian but christian, from the middle of the ring, crawled to get the rope break. Bulldog and Edge put on a show with like a anything you can do I can do better with lots of bulldogs. Hart however got a tag in and finished edge of wih the sharpshooter. The hart foundation go into unfogivien so far looking good. but I think they have a challenge coming with the Acolytes.
Match 4- Trish Def. Stephanie McMahon
The womens division is oddly strange, with only 3 attitude Era divas and 3 divas in my universe its really the matter of who gets alot of wins. Last week Lita Def. Trish. Then on SMACKDOWN! Steph Def. Lita and now Trish Def. Steph. so really you dont have a number one contender in the divas division. just three divas.
Main Event- #1 Contenders Match Shawn Michaels vs Mankind
Last Week Mankind pinned bret hart, so Hart was eliminated from a #1 contenders match tonight, so its now just Shawn and Mankind. In the Middle of the match The WWF Champ Triple H ran down to the ring. It looked like him and Mankind were gonna double team Shawn but Trips attacked Mankind. With that Shawn took over them match. The match spilled to the outside. Shawn michaels was still in controll. When the ref counted 5. Shawn ran for the ring but Mankind(me) wanted to win by countout so I got Shawn to get put threw a table which took 3 seconds, On 9 Shawn was put threw a table and FOR SOME RESON mankind didnt feel like running so the match was a double countout. WIll there be a re-match next week. Is DX back together. Is Triple H a heel. Was Bill Gunns attack on Road Dogg just a fail Cutscene an the comp thinks we forgive and forget. Find Out next week on Raw Is WarComment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
So reading all of the threads inspired me to try something different. I prefer the the Raw and Smackdown only usually, no custom superstars, titles etc...
I decided to add ECW to Thursday nights. I downloaded everything and i mean everything. All of my superstars and arenras are from community creations.
When i edit any match it goes to load screen and doesn't proceed. Is this a condition of having everything downloaded?
I remember hearing complaints about issues like these just after release. I thought thee was a patch that fixed it. Was there? If not does anyone know of a work around?
ThanksComment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
The road to Over the Limit continues on RAW..
IC Title #1C 10-man Battle Royal #2: Kevin Steen defeated Batista, Brad Maddox, Ryder, El Generico, Goldberg, Hunico, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, RVD to face Kofi Kingston in a best-of-3 for the opportunity to face Mankind for the IC Title.
C.M. Punk vs Stone Cold - Last Man Standing, non-title: In a preview of what's to come in their OTL rematch, the RAW GM booked this huge Last Man Standing bout, in the middle of the card no less. It was a vicious fight as expected, and Punk beat the toughest S.O.B. in the business to a bloody pulp, keeping him down for the 10 count.
30-man Battle Royal, TV Title: 30 random superstars battled over the newly-created TV Title. A mish-mash of wrestlers turned into a who's who of ever-coming entrants, from John Cena to Tyson Kidd to Sheamus to Charlie Haas to Daniel Bryan to Sin Cara to Bray Wyatt.. it was quite an interesting mix. In the end, it was Epico, Rey Mysterio, and Titus O'Neil. Rey was tossed out by Titus, who was then eliminated by Epico, your new T.V. Title holder. He's set to defend it on Main Event.
Triple H vs Y2J, TLC match: After Y2J's loss last week, he wants payback. The score's 1-1, this time, it's TLC. Like their last few encounters, this match was a brawl that went all over the place, and the two utilized any weapon possible - ladders, tables, chairs, you name it. Jericho, wearing the crimson mask, came out on top.
John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler, Backstage Brawl: John Cena was cost a shot at the WWE title by The Showoff, and he still hasn't avenged AJ screwing him out of the Smackdown Money in the Bank briefcase. These two continue to be at each others' throats and they got their hands on one another not in the ring, but in the backstage area. Cena and Ziggler continuously threw the other into different parts of the backstage - walls, doors, boxes, and so on. Soon enough, Cena knocked Ziggy out cold. Cena stands tall for tonight but Ziggler still has that briefcase and the knowledge that Cena hasn't beat him for it.Last edited by philliesfan136; 01-14-2013, 05:52 PM.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Week 2 of May, another edition of Main Event.
Mr. Anderson vs Bobby Roode, WHC #1C Tourney: Bobby Roode defeated fellow former TNA star Mr. Anderson to advance.
Kane vs Danny Jackpot, WHC #1C Tourney: Kane's split from tag partner Daniel Bryan has been a smooth one, as he took down rookie Danny Jackpot in a fun matchup.
Team Mucha Lucha vs Team Rhodes Scholars, WWE Tag Title #1C Tourney: Rey and Sin Cara move past rivals Rhodes Scholars after a solid battle.
Chris Jericho vs Epico vs Ryback vs Dean Ambrose vs Daniel Bryan vs HHH, TV Title Elimination Chamber: HHH struck first, eliminating rival Chris Jericho, before the crazy action continued. Seth Rollins pinned former ROH rival Daniel Bryan, then champ Epico took out Seth Rollins with a Backstabber. Later, Ryback eliminated Triple H but was immediately Backstabbed by Epico, who retained the title in an exciting match.
Mankind vs Batista, WWE Title #1C Tourney: The IC Champ was able to take home the W and send the fans home happy. Batista felt the opposite, denying the winner a handshake.
That's all for Main Event.Last edited by philliesfan136; 01-15-2013, 10:26 PM.Comment
