I think thou I'm not sure Aubrey meant is if you mess with a match that is named Highlight match then the the feud would end. If you don't get that then you can edit away. I never mess with the highlight matches but the other ones I do. I do wish Aubrey would explain more thou cause say I want a highlight match on epic can I do that or does that still end the feud. I'm gonna ask and see if he answers.

I'm holding back on WWE 13 for this reason alone. I have SVR 11 and have an all-CAW universe. The cutscenes are limited but help me tell the stories I'm trying to play through. I edit nearly every single match so I can make a good card (even with only 4 matches) to keep feuds brewing and make sure that the card goes in order (main eventers wrestle near the end, midcarders earlier, etc)... Even though the gameplay/controls may be better/advanced in WWE 13 than in SVR 11, I would rather stick with what I have if it would only be a hassle spending $60 for a new game that wouldn't match my expectations. Just my 2 cents.

I've had two cutscenes, both in the same match, and that's it, in playing one week of universe. I really want to have a branching storyline cutscene but haven't yet.

So can someone explain to me what exactly I can and can't do? For example, can I:

1) Change the match speed from quick, normal, and epic?

2) Use special guest referees?

3) Change any of the participants?

4) Change the match type?

You can still do all of that, it just decreases the chances that a cutscene will happen. It doesnt mean they won't and usually when I have guys fight who are rivals something comes out of it.

I've had a few and they are cool. The most I can say is if you are going to edit your card:

Never mess with highlight matches

Make sure when you did edit the card, that it makes sense.

Make sure interference is turned on. The game has it off by default, but once it's on guys are continually running out according to rivalry. They also distract the ref now and throw weapons into the ring and your opponent automatically gets a finisher now if there is a run in against you.

Just restarted my Universe and turned on interference and had 4 cutscenes on five matches. I don't know why the heck they have that off by default, but thanks for bringing it to light Dubb.

Do have to turn it on for every match or does it stay "ON" after you switch it.

Just go to Options>Match Creator> Whatever kind of match you want interference turned on as default and you should be good.

For good? Or do I have to do it for every match? Sorry man, just looking for clarification. Plus I'm at work and its SLOW (Veterans Day) so I cant check for myself until I get off

I found it out yesterday just messing around and it made things 100% better. Now I just gotta get some good ROH and TNA guys too make up those shows. The sliders I use have made the matches such a challenge and now actully having cutscenes make things so much better.

I've also noticed when you look at the match from the screen that shows the whole card, if there is a option to interfere, then it is not likely a match with a cutscene.

Also, make sure you go to match creator and turn interference on, its off by default.

Pretty sure this is the way it works. Just ran through a week of Raw and Smackdown. My first match on both cards was able to be interfered in. I'm guessing these matches are either storyline initiators or just stand alone exhibitions. The other 4 matchs were not able to be interfered in. All 4 matches in both cards had a cutscenes either before, during, or after the match. My universe is really flowing great now. Just keep your roster to a minimum and the default booking will work it self out to be great.
