Re: Extreme Rules 05/19/13
Yup the Spanish announce table survived.
^ It's still a neck crank,it was just from the bottom instead of the top.
If Striker or Regal were out there on commentary like they should've been they would've been able to explain such a thing.Comment

Best spot of the night, awesome.. Thought about it earlier.
Miguel and Fandango can start a tag team with the double leg drops from the top rope for a finisher.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Extreme Rules 05/19/13
I totally went into this pay per view expecting it to be terrible and was pleasantly surprised.
Jericho match was pretty decent, but I still haven't seen Fandoodle do anything but leg drops. It's Jericho at a PPV though so we knew he would put on a good show.
Orton v Big Slow wasn't AS bad as I thought it would be. I actually wasn't sure who would win until I saw Randy winding up for the punt. You guys may finally get your heel Orton back soon.
Sheamus v Henry really pissed me off. Sheamus has consistently put on great match after great match at PPVs and I just didn't like this one. It was pretty funny to here WSM yell "All Right Mother F'er" at one point when Sheamus was beating him with the strap, but I felt the match should have been much better. I don't want to see these guys together again as I think it was Sheamus's worst performance of the past year.
Del Rio v Swagger was going good and they had a good ending, then the second ref came running down and that was it for me. I went to grab a soda.
Dean Ambrose is gold. I love him and I'm glad they've chosen him to be the first single's breakout of the shield.
Tag Match was kind of all over the place for me. Either those four guys really sold well or there were more then just a few botches. It could explain why Rollins and Reigns were chosen for the tag push, but I just didn't like the flow to that match like we have seen with 3 man action from The Shield in the past.
Cena v Ryback....um....wtf?
HHH v Brock - What is there to say other then Brock is probably the most impressive athlete we have ever seen in this business. I agree with the poster from earlier that said a SSP from the top of the cage would have been gold, but man the power and agility at which he operates is just awe inspiring. This has been a good fued, but I think it's time for it to be over. Not sure where Brock goes from here and I'm not sure anybody really makes sense. Please dear God not Cena.
RE Payback - The next PPV is in Chicago. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a CM Punk return on Raw this week, as a PPV in his home town without him is kind of dumb, but I don't see where he's fitting into any possible storylines so I'll probably be watching that one by "other means" as well.Golf: Bubba

Re: Extreme Rules 05/19/13
Yeah I don't get Sheamus as well is he heel or face? only other conclusion I came too he is neutral.
Well all matches was extremely predictable I have never been a fan of Big Show I prefer Fandongo Dingo whatever i don't care about Fandango anymore to him that's saying something. I never feel Big Shows matches are entertaining at all. Fandango has worn off me already but Jericho did make the match better.
That being said I will say Cena vs Ryback was not the worst match in the world nor was it the best but i think everyone knew Cena would still be Champion and probably for while. Technically Ryback won that match too lol I saw him standing when Cena was laying down.
Who knows maybe the writers are going to make the Shield get involved with the WWE belt or Heavyweight and possibly be doing a take over? (still believe this would need another member if this is what the writers are doing)
I am glad Kane and Bryan lost now they can eventually feud with each other over the lost then Bryan can move on after it all over. He and Kane was funny at first but now they need to make Bryan become a singles competitor again.
Overall the PPV was average.Last edited by wwefan; 05-20-2013, 06:30 AM.Comment

I thought it was well below average. Only b/c it's named Extreme Rules. I just expected more extreme spots?
It was cool seeing The Shield win their matches. I thought Ryback and Cena was pretty entertaining until the end.
Sheamus winning didn't make sense. Shouldn't the markers have started over?
Maybe Rock and Mankind ruined it for me, but that I Quit match was pretty bad.
The commentary team just sucks.
Just let me know that's there no point to start watching again.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: Extreme Rules 05/19/13
I have to agree there was not really as extreme as the name would suggest Ryback technically should of won he was standing up but that was never going to happen. Thought a couple of matches was ok but that was it WWE need to make Extreme rules actually with more extreme matches next time or change the name. The good thing was the shield winning the United States and Tag Belts.Last edited by wwefan; 05-20-2013, 10:58 AM.Comment

I thought the PPV was ok but the matches still didn't get enough time.
With 10 more minutes the tag match could have been great, although I'm intrigued by the outcome.
Unfortunately you could see the strap match finish coming a mile off, which isn't fair to Henry considering Sheamus has just been a t*at to him throughout the feud.
I didn't even bother with Orton and Big Show, I didn't like the build and wasn't interested which is a first for me watching a PPV.
The LMS match was pretty damn good apart from the fact that Ryback doesn't pick up the win. They spend all night going on about Extreme Rules and then when something really extreme happens (a genuine Holy S*** moment) they go all somber and forget there's a match on.
It's a Last Man Standing match! There is one rule! One! As soon as Charles Robinson found them in the back he should have started to count and declared Ryback the winner. That would have been good booking but no, they can't have Ryback win cleanly.
If he doesn't win the inevitable rematch then he might as well not be any threat at all because they've booked him so strangely. He can squash former WWE Tag Team Champions in one minute but can't get it done on PPV? Not the way to build your monster heel.
And don't get me started on the Instant Replay thing. I don't mind Del Rio winning but as JBL said, it sets a horrible precedent that potentially could ruin wrestling from the point of view that heels cheat. That's the point.
However I have to say that despite all this I thought the main event was brilliant and Lesnar is still great in the ring. HHH hasn't lost anything (he even came off the top rope for the first time in God knows how long!) and I hope he goes back to regular wrestling for at least another year or two.
