Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
Ryback vs. CM Punk added to the card.
Looks like the second pay per view I'll be skipping this month. Most likely will wait til Monday to watch the main event.
Can't put my finger one actually why I've lost almost all interest in wrestling. Probably a combination of MLB playoffs, NFL season, television shows returning and Grand Theft Auto.Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
Yeah outside factors killed my interest in the WWE because I actually wanted Orton to have the title and be a heel, but then I went back up to FSU, football, school work, social life, etc. kicked in.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
HBK as special ref, eh? Think he'll pull a HHH move and help Orton win again?
A sort of DX reunion, except this time NOT against the establishment?
And I think we all know who becomes new WHC.
Wow, another boring card.Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
The product itself is boring. Hard to be excited about a card when you have very interest or investment in the product. Skipped the past two Raws and the last Pay Per View and don't feel like I missed out on anything at all. At least that's how I feel about it. Can't speak for anyone else.
Only reason I'll be checking the main event is because of HBK being special referee.Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
I get why people are so bored with the product right now. In my opinion, however, it's as interesting as it's been in a long time. They're making a serious push to bring back the Tag Team division as a legit title.
Almost everyone on the active roster that isn't in a storyline for a title got paired up in a tag team, not to mention all the new wrestlers. Now they're throwing all these teams at the wall to see what sticks.
-Matadores
-Wyatts
-Rhodes'
-Shield
-Uso's
-3MB (lol)
-Prime Time Players
-Real Americans
-Tons of Funk (though recently inactive).
Add in that Mysterio and Sin Cara could be coming back any time, and that's a solid tag team division. At least, better than we've had in years.
Terrible storylines aside, we could be in for some fun matches! The secret to winning:

We said a year ago they were making the tag division stronger. See where we wound up?Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
It's a shame too because there are definitely a good number of solid tag teams out there. They just don't seem to know what to do with them. The Diva's storyline has been better over the past few months.Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
2. Hell No and now the Shield were essentially above the tag team division
3. It's really rare for a belt to be defended outside of a PPV
They need to look to the golden ages of tag team wrestling to learn how to book a tag division.Comment

Still, it's better than the other wrestling product out there. If only barely. The secret to winning:

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
It's a shame, but they won't. They're too afraid of using anything from back then because it was the "Attitude Era," and that it might risk them losing their PG status. They haven't figured out how to simultaneously be badass and family friendly. Notice how nobody attacks the refs anymore? The only time anyone pulls out a chair outside of a PPV is to intimidate; nobody's getting hit with a weapon regularly on Smack Down anytime soon. I get that safety is a big factor these days, but there's a way to do it while keeping everyone entertained.
Still, it's better than the other wrestling product out there. If only barely.

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/27/13
They don't even need to go back there. They can go back to the 80s. They had loads of great tag teams back then and knew how to book them. I also thought that they were reasonably PG.Comment
