I always liked the Sting vs Vader match from Great American Bash 92, Rude and Steamboat had a pretty good 30 minute Iron Man match at Beach Blast 92, and I thought Flair vs Luger at Starrcade 88 was surprisingly good

-The Sting vs Great Muta from GAB 1989 was awesome.

        - Stunning steve Austin had some great Wrestkling matches as well

        - They dont have War games 1987 up do they?

-Midnight express vs Midnight express was cool

        -Funk vs Flair 1988

And for those wondering, they ARE including 'The Main Event' episodes within the SNME bunch.

I loved the Steamboat vs Luger match from that card where Steamboat just snaps at the end and attacks Luger with a chair and gets DQ'd

                  Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

When will WWE realize that the Network won't become bigger until they not only release weekly episodes of RAW/SD from the past(which I do see happening maybe around September-October to get people to renew the subscription), but also release the network outside of the USA.

They have about 10% of the amount of USA fans they have, subscribed to their network. If that same percentage holds true for places like Canada,UK among others, they'll easily get over 1M total subscribers.

Watching the SNMEs made me realize how good the commentary was in the 80s even better than the Attitude Era.

They already know this. But there are obstacles to opening it up that take time.

Watch Episode 4 of SNME. Terry Funk vs Hogan. It is easily the best Hogan match of the 80's and is in his Top 5 all time. Say what you want about the Hulkster, when he was in there with the right guy, it was magic.

Agreed, that is an underrated match for that era.

You get Heenan or Jesse Ventura on commentary and you get greatness. Sorry to JR and King but Monsoon and Heenan were the greatest commentary duo. And JR and King know it.

Monsoon's reactions to Heenan made it so much better. "will you be serious?!"

One of my favorite Heenan moments... "oh I knew he was gonna do that! He doesn't need Janetty!"

Maybe I'm biased, but I think JR should go in a category on his own. You'd think wrestling is 100% real listening to him. Would've loved to hear him commentate the main event of Wrestlemania 30. My man would've had a heart attack after Bryan won those belts.

I was a bigger fan of the Monsoon and Ventura combo but you can't go wrong with Heenan and Monsoon either. I even liked McMahon, he could really get a heel over anytime he attacked a face. Him calling it when Jake Roberts had a cobra bite Savage always sticks out to me
