I had to turn that 4 corners match off after a few minutes. The Wrestling was just....bad. WCW just isn't me.

        Fixed that.

If you want to watch main event WCW stuff, go back to the 80s. That's when it was actually good. Otherwise stick to the cruisers for the late 90s WCW stuff. It's all that's worth watching, outside of Wrestlecrap reasons.

If you watch WCW, do it for the cruiserweights. I don't even know what the main event of Spring Stampede 99 is, but considering the timeframe I'd guess something with either Flair, Hogan, or Savage that's just slow and boring?
But cruiserweights...they should be good. A little sloppy sometimes because they try some out-of-the-box stuff, but it's usually entertaining.

It was Hogan vs. Sting vs. Ric Flair vs. DDP with Macho Man as special guest ref. Macho Man was in amazing shape by the way. If WWE booked that match, it would be amazing with great spots. Not WCW...

It's sad but Vince McMahon may eventually go down as the Al Davis of sports entertainment.

I feel if the WWE had them today, Triple H would've just let them do their thing on NXT, put on great matches and than once they get called up, something stupid with Vince would still happen.

I wasn't watching during that time period, I see a guy on a lawnmower and somebody with what appears to be a leaf blower. Was their gimmick that they were Mexican landscapers? If so, I'm kind of speechless

What will WWE do when they get to the Chris Benoit death Raw? I assume skip it. I just thought about that today.

I'd say that's likely. They left Over the Edge 99 in....extremely edited.

When they get to that weeks Raw, they'll obviously skip it and edit future editions of Raw that mention his death.

How have they handled his PPV matches so far on the network though? I know his matches are there, but how exactly is it handled? Did they edit commentary during the matches, crowd chants, or what? Especially the Orton match at SS04(the match WWE refuses to ever acknowledge, which sucks for someone like Orton cause his first ever world title victory won't ever be talked about by WWE again).

I know in past DVDs they've had him in(like the elimination chamber one) they just edited commentary anytime they talked about him(and we'd get awkward sounding crowd in place of the commentary)

I don't think anything is edited (though I am not the guy to ask for a definite answer on that), but he isn't 'archived', so you can't search for him specifically and for the events that have them, his matches do not have timestamps.

The only thing I've ever heard edited as far as commentary was the Owen Hart stuff at Over the Edge and at Vengeance 2007 when Morrison comes out, the part where the announcers say that he's replacing Benoit has been removed. I'd imagine that they'll skip the Owen Hart and Chris Benoit tribute shows.
