I really wish they would add every RAW and Smackdown from the past. There are some good matches that happened on both brands that are PPV quality.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I love how they have shown Raw from episode one. But I'm looking forward to when Raw became a show where featured talent faced featured talent.
Right now I'm watching Hunter Hearst Helmsley face John Crystal...
Also can't wait for the ECW episode where Sabu jumped off the Raw entrance. It was on February 24, 1997 so we have some time.

That episode is cool because it's back in the original Raw arena where they hadn't done a show in years.I'm a Vince McMahon Guy!

I don't know. That's not my field. But I know it's there, since streaming sites don't typically launch internationally all at once, and they tend to have different content. It might be a server thing, or a legal thing. I'm not really sure.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Or it could be a product longevity thing. If you offer everything up front, people will binge and grow tired of content and still expect more. If you limit content you can keep them engaged in the product as you slowly introduce new content which will encourage renewals. If you don't have anything new to offer, people will binge and leave.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
So I was trying to think of ways the WWE Network can become more profitable because I just have a bad feeling that it's not going to last, and here's what I came up with:
We know there's a big market of people who are interested in the Monday Night Wars era. So while having the MNW Documentary series will be great, and even having the episodes will be awesome, is it still enough? Here's my idea, and I would like to think with today's technology that it's totally feasible:
For the MNW era, meaning the episodes of RAW/Nitro from Sept 1995-March 2001, they should have a feature where they are aired in a split-screen feature with you being able to choose between the RAW or Nitro audio tracks. Also not limiting it to split screen, you can completely zoom-in on the show of your choice with the easy option of being able to switch over to the other while they're both still running. So basically on your screen you have Nitro and RAW airing side by side. You can watch it this way while choosing one audio track, or you can zoom in completely on RAW or Nitro and switch back/forth with ease.
In my opinion, one of the greatest things about the MNW era was flipping the channel back and forth between the two shows. If WWE Network re-created that experience...I don't know how that wouldn't be every fan's dream from that era.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
They could just do what you are suggesting as a "second screen experience" from their app like they do some of the network live shows. I'm not sure if that would work though.
In all honesty, though, they need to really look at a way of offering the PPV's as individual, stand alone purchases from the network like they do with cable companies. If they offered the PPVs individually at even 14.99 with an all day Sunday pass to the network they might be able to hook people in to the 6 month commitment for the actual network.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Maybe I'm biased, but I think JR should go in a category on his own. You'd think wrestling is 100% real listening to him. Would've loved to hear him commentate the main event of Wrestlemania 30. My man would've had a heart attack after Bryan won those belts.

Same with Monsoon though. I learned a ton of anatomy listening to Monsoon call matches. JR certainly gets the nod as adding the most drama to his broadcasts though.Comment
