Yep, didn't go two hours until late May 96. This will be a boatload of Nitro to start.

I couldn't find a good video. But two slices of heaven popped up, both related to "fat moonsault".

Looking forward to watching this later. Should get into the creation of the nWo and HBK's first title reign.

It was all about Hall and Nash leaving for WCW and the creation and initial success of the NWO. The next episode is going to focus on WWE morphing into the Attitude Era.

Pretty good episode by and large, I don't know how common knowledge it is, but I was intrigued by who the original "3rd Man" was going to be.

I just watched the rewind shirt thing they have on Punk/Lesnar from SS'13. It was basically a short promo/interview to start and end it with the Punk match sandwiched between.

Lesnar was actually really good 'on the mic' in that form of promo. It was all to hype his Cena match... but I definitely wouldn't object to seeing him talk more in stuff like that.

I am absolutely loving The Monday Night Wars. So much fun to relive my early teenage years again.

I'm meeting Eric Bischoff on Saturday and I plan on thanking him for so many memories.

That's pretty damn cool. It seems you meet a lot of wrestlers and such. That's got to be an awesome thing. While I was never the biggest WCW fan (mainly because we didn't get the product til relatively late in the game) but retroactively one can't help but admire Bischoff for some of the innovations he brought to the game especially with the luchas and the cruisers.

There is a local sports cards and collectibles store in my town, and the owner sells a lot of wrestling merchandise in the 3 stores he has, and gets a lot of wrestlers to appear in his store for signings. He told me on Saturday when I met Cryme Tyme that he was surprised Bischoff agreed to make the appearance. Not sure what kind of turn out it'll get since he announced it a week in advance.

He's having Tony Atlas in September and X-Pac in October too.

I've been very fortunate to meet so many wrestlers over the last 17 years. The only big stars I've never met are Hogan, Austin, and Undertaker.

Well between The Shield documentary, The Monday Night War series, and the forthcoming batch of Nitro episodes, I have decided to renew my 6-month subscription. Is anyone NOT renewing?

Do we have to do anything to renew? If I have it set to automatically charge it each month, does it just go?

Pretty sure it just keeps on going unless you ask to cancel your subscription.
