Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I still like seeing the chair shots from back then. I cringe, but I cringed when I initially saw them as well.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I'm of the opinion that there is nothing like a good chair shot to the head. Nothing like it. But I'm glad they don't do them anymore. I'm willing to give up cool **** so people don't end up with CTE.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
It's like blood. Doesn't have to be as excessively used as during the attitude era but every now and then to enhance a match/feud a good head shot or two would be fine in my book. Like Edge's one man conchairto would have been great in the Owens/Zayn or Owens/Ambrose feud

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I am fine with blood. Unless they screw up, shouldn't see any lasting effects from a blade job, aside from a scar.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Exactly. I am all for blood as long as it's not overdone. And done the right way. If people bleed every night, it would be overkill. But for instance, the Sami/Kevin feud could definitely use blood.
Chairshots are a different story. I thought I missed chairshots. Then I see a wicked chairshot with a dude who keeps his arms down and just takes it, and it makes me sick. Weird how I thought I missed them so much, and after they've been gone so long, I really don't.
However, a last man standing match with a dude hitting a guy in the back with a chair just seems stupid. Maybe chairs just need to be left out?

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Does anybody know why the USWA stuff in the vault is listed under GWF, and there is nothing from the actual GWF uploaded. I'm not aware of any connection between the two companies, but if it were just a mistake I'd think they'd have it fixed by nowComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I binged on Breaking Ground the last 2 days and just finished it. What a great show, I really hope it comes back for Season 2. I really wish this show was around when Owens was signed, just to see how fast he shot to the main roster.
Apollo Crews man, if he improves on his mic skills, I don't see how he's not the top babyface in the company for years to come; he's insanely talented.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I can see how he's not the top face for years to come. Because Vince will shove Reigns and Cena down our throats. More Reigns than Cena even though I think Cena can go for another 10 years or so. But Crews is 28 to Reigns 30. And Reigns will keep getting shoved down our throat unless somehow magically retires.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Crews can supplant Reigns. He's got "da look" and he's infinitely better in the ring than Roman. And Reigns is proof that you can be pushed to the top with terrible mic skills. Crews really needs to work on them too but he's got everything else going for him. He looks like a leaner version of Ahmed Johnson minus the amplified intensity.Comment
