Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Could be. I think a lot of the mindset at that time was to leave people guessing a bit. Angle was the champ at the time, and Triple H was in this blood feud with Stone Cold. Stone Cold wins the Rumble, then the Rock wins the title at the next PPV. At the end of the day all those guys look like bigger stars for being believable as serious contenders for the title.Comment

Love these Broken Skull Sessions. The new one with Kane was a fantastic watch. Check it out if you haven't yet. I hope he continues to interview older guys and not the current generation.

https://www.wwe.com/article/ruthless...network-feb-16
Episode 1 – It’s Time To Shake Things Up
Available Sunday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. ET
As The Monday Night War comes to a close, WWE reckons with the challenges that arise from its acquisition of WCW and the departure of established Superstars like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock, as well as makes the bold decision to split its roster between two brands.
Episode 2 – Enter John Cena
Available Monday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. ET
A new, if polarizing, Superstar emerges in the form of John Cena. After enjoying initial success, Cena struggles to find himself as a performer and realizes he’s on on the brink of being fired — that is, until his adoption of new persona launches him to new heights.
Episode 3 – Evolution
Available Monday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. ET
No faction ruled the Ruthless Aggression Era more than Evolution, the dominant union of Triple H, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista. Episode 4 – The Next Big Thing
Available Monday, March 2 at 10 a.m. ET

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The RA documentary will be fun to watch. I wonder if they'll even touch 2004 seeing how Benoit was obviously a big part of the Raw side for the majority of that year.
And what year will they end it? It started in 2002, but I have no idea when to consider that era ending, or how many eras we've had since.
Also, I never knew what Undertakers voice sounded like in real life. I thought it'd be way deeper.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
To me, it goes:
97-WM17 = Attitude Era
01 = Invasion Era
Post Survivor Series 01 is when RA started building, and the draft is when it really launched.
08 is the furthest I'd say RA era lasted.Comment
