Almost at kotr98! Weird how nobody cares undertaker goes from being the dark character we all know, to suddenly out of character almost in a week. First the street clothes segment, then next week he shows up almost ABA style, and this obviously was even before the ministry days.

The tag team hiac seemed so thrown together, and match didn't even finish during tv time. I know we get taker VS mankind in hiac, but as iconic of a match as it'd be, they sure didn't build up the hiac aspect.

Raw before KOTR98...Kane speaks for the first time! lol, that voicebox, how horrible was that. His masks though were such a cool part of his character. One of (if not the) best ring attire in wrestling.

        WWE Network Discussion Thread

Had to skip thru half of 2008 because that was a [emoji42][emoji42][emoji42] year outside of a few moments.

In January 2009 now and that Orton-HHH/McMahon feud is just[emoji1476].

And of course he eliminates the Tag Team Champions in the Royal Rumble at the SAME DAMN TIME.

        **** Triple H.

First off, **** Triple H. This reign of terror in 2002 is awful even more so now than watching it happen live. The chicken **** heel who wins all his matches clean despite pulling the most heinous crap in his feuds that should see the face get their retribution from in the end. Can’t get over how over RVD, Kane and Booker T were during this time frame and Hunter buried them all so he can pretend to be Ric Flair and try to shoehorn his name in with Rock and Austin.

Anyway, Victoria is so criminally underrated. She played that psycho role to perfection in ‘02. Shame they didn’t get her for the Rumble this year. Maybe she’ll get Hall of Fame at some point.

Kotr98, such a weird thing. Too much(too cool before they were good. Too much seems so generic) beat AL snow and head. They did it by pinning head. Made sure the shoulders were down by placing head on top of a bottle of head and shoulders lol. I'd expect something like that today, not attitude era at a big ppv.

While every last person remembers kotr98 for the hiac lines by Jr, HHH had funniest line. "There are many bi things I am, lingual isn't one of them....... Wait, did I mean to say that?"

Speaking of hiac, never realized the infamous Foley spot happened like 2 minutes into the match. Knew exactly what was coming, seen it so many times before, but watching it like this, still such an awesome moment. Then the chokeslam! Such a great match when everyone only really remembers 2 moments from it, but it's 2 of greatest moments in WWE history

So i'm finally in January of '95. I plan to do some binging and get through the Royal Rumble at least. One thing I want to mention were the last few Raws with Shawn Michaels doing commentary with Vince. Shawn was actually pretty good there and got away with making some innuendos that normally wouldn't be allowed. It's even more odd considering these were pre-taped shows!

Oh, Bob Backlund made a bit of a boo boo in one of his rants by calling out Diesel by his real name and Vince & Shawn had to make it sound like they weren't sure who this Kevin Nash guy was.

I haven't watched the network in a long time even though I've been paying 10$ for it. I was looking to start something up in the background so I started midsouth. I am 35 so I have never really watched in detail the territory's before just the main 2. Its cheesy and low budget, but I am enjoying the simple and old school vibe of it. Its neat seeing things like One Man gang with long hair and honkytonk man with blond hair. I'm kind of anxious to see if Paul Orndorff can get the title from whoever Bob Roop is. Its also so quick to watch a show just about 25 to 30 minutes.

Now past KOTR. Road to SS and beyond I believe is where things really pick up with all the stables, new superstars and everything. Edge already debuted (his debut promos were kind of cool, never realized his "you think you know me" part of his intro came directly from one of those debut promos), and I know Ministry is coming soon and Nation splits and so much more happens.

First appearance of Regal in a WWE ring! Steven Regal just seems so plain compared to William Regal. Val Venis about to start his Kaientai feud. Still hate how Kane only got title for a single night. Say all you want about WHC, but Kane as WWE Champ is something WWE really should've had happen for an extended period of time. Lol, triple h called himself the king of kings back in 1998. Almost a decade before that was a thing in WWE.

Also...Summer of 98 means "Brawl for All" LOL. So happy I can skip all of that.

Kane being contention during that period for the WWF title was good enough. Don’t know about an extended run especially during that time period.
