Welp, it's come to decision time for me. I've been enjoying my going back through every episode of Raw and Smackdown and the PPVs but I may have to just skip some time here. I've already begun the dark descent into Triple H's title reign of doom in 2002, but I convinced myself I'll just power through it like I did '95 Raw. Unfortunately I forgot that 2002 meant that my Smackdown viewing would lead me to Al Wilson. Smackdown was sooooo good with the Smackdown six though so I'm considering continuing to go through both, but I'm currently at the Katie Vick episode of Raw and my resolve is completely shaken.

lol, hey Pack, where were you April 28,1998?
Seriously though, talk about random sign at a Raw show in Virginia.Attached FilesComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Not that random. Owen Hart was still around at that point. He’d joined the Nation by then too as well I think?

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
He joined the nation the prior Raw. Though this was a taped show which happened the night after he joined.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I’m watching Raw in 97 and JR just mentioned the Spurs winning the draft lottery and are sure to take Tim Duncan.
Haha I’m old.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Must have skipped that one when I was watching 97 Raws. But that reminds me of when The Rock was in Cleveland during his hollywood gimmick and he was basically like "stay in school Lebron, don't get drafted by cleveland".Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
One does not just skip a 1997 Raw.
This one was right around the episode Bret screwed Shawn so his Sweet Chin Music over the wheelchair wouldn’t air on time.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Next episode of Raw:
-Dustin burns Goldust gear and basically rips Mr.McMahon for making him do that gimmick. Fans are so happy Goldust is gone(crazy to look back and realize as big as Goldust has been in WWE history, that gimmick was beyond hated by fans back then)
-Al Snow appearing! Nobody knowing what he's doing there, he just randomly shows up with head one night.
-Never even knew about that DX invading WCW part 2. Not really as publicized a moment compared to when they invaded the arena that Nitro was being held at. Actually invading WCW headquarters and the CNN building too(as well as a cheesy 90s "cgi" rocket launch that destroyed the CNN building)
-lol, corporate Mick Foley
I didn't skip the entire show, but maybe skipped whatever match they were talking about it in.Comment

People didn’t hate the Goldust gimmick. Not the original gimmick the way it was meant to be anyway. They were cheering that moment because A) he was going against the biggest heel in the company at the time and B) that whole mess he was doing with Luna prior to that was what they hated.

This doesn't say if it's going to jump ahead of Thunder or not but yeah...This is going to be GOOOOD. They put out some really awesome material between '85-'91.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
