Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Compare the first intro in this video to the other two, and you see when WWE started going PG. Sad.
(not trying to start that PG debate again lol)Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Watched Summerslam 1989, which is a pretty great show, and during the entrance to the Duggan/Demolition vs Akeem/Bossman/Andre match someone held up a sign saying "The Twin Towers will be toppled by Demolition." Hmm.Comment

That awkward moment when you realize WWE had a Lil’Kim (Trish Stratus) vs Nicki Minaj (Victoria) feud years ago in a roundabout way.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Bliss and Black History collections are already listed after January info on WWE's site, so that's a pretty safe bet.
Surprised to even see Coliseum videos mentioned by anyone. There were tons of those things, where would they even start uploading?Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Was the Flair/Hart title change on a Coliseum video? That would be a good place to start if it's on one of those videosComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Yep. A lot of those matches ended up on DVD releases here and there, but, except for a random few, they aren't on the Network. There's a Macho Man (as champ) vs HBK match from 1992 that is like that too.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Always cool to see just how many notable moments in WWE happened in each individual episode of raw. Truly was week by week progress. Rock using his "finally the rock has come back to..." for first time (at least that I can remember). Then Owen joins the nation. Later, Bearer reveals himself as Kane's dad. And throughout that same episode of raw, dx invades wcw! Next episode gets more into the dx phrase we know" are you ready? No, I said are you ready? Then, for the thousands in attendance and the millions at home... "
What I realize watching these things is that WWE always had uninteresting parts of raw(the whole NWA stuff I don't care for, or most of tag division at this point in time before the stable wars broke out) , but so much more is great and tells real interesting stories.
And I'm not really enjoying dude love so much. 97 he was ok, but 98 isn't as good. Mankind no doubt is Foleys best character by wide margin.
LOL, just as I say that, the very next episode of raw kicks off with Foley throwing away dude love..... Then by the end he's back to dude love?Last edited by Majingir; 01-22-2018, 01:29 AM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Watching the first episode of RAW, it has such an Indy feel to it. Small arena, production very limited. Based off the early years of RAW and the shape of the WWE at the time, you wonder how the show made it all these years.
I miss the old Royal Rumble/Wrestlemania Reports. They need to do those again.Last edited by UFCMPunk; 01-22-2018, 12:44 AM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Watching 2 episodes in 1 day. Next one features first edge debut vignette! And the infamous venis video with Jenna Jameson. Getting closer to summer 98, that's when things picked up alot. Funniest moment, xpac being like "why don't you talk to this right here(pointing where dx always points) ", then animal is like "I can't see it." LOL.
Funny timing to present day raw. Austin using a grappling hook to bring down the love shack set. Speaking of which, I think McMahon celebrating with dude love and the dudettes might be the first time he started doing something resembling his infamous walk.
And that "leaked video" of bearer explaining to King in great detail exactly what lead to him being Kane's dad(spoiler, it involved the kitchen of the funeral home) . Attitude era raws are just so much to take in(in a good way).
