    Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

Just watched the final chapter of The Last Ride. If you haven't watched yet, grab some tissues. What a career.

My all-time favorite performer without question. In my opinion, The Undertaker is the greatest performer in the history of professional wrestling.

    Just the greatest ever.

It was expected but I still can't believe it.

Sucks we never got to have any fans.

Awesome episode, especially the part where he was throwing is wrist tape in the trash...”Kobe!”

I still remember watching the Survivor Series when he made his debut, can’t believe how long of a run it’s been

He needs a proper celebration at WrestleMania next year in front of fans. No match. Just a celebration.

Nah he’s good. The riding off into the darkness was the perfect way to go out. Given his character and personality having any kind of celebration for him would feel odd and forced.

With the physical condition he's in having a match with an audience wouldn't have been any better.

He isn't a young, athletic 20 or 30 - something year old feeding off the energy of the crowd. The guy has just beat himself up too much & aged to poorly (these last few years) to give a HBK or Flair type performance.

I think almost being paralyzed or dying in the ring against Goldberg was the last straw. Allowing him to (finally?) win a Buried Alive match at Wrestlemania (Survivor Series would have also been great) is the perfect conclusion to his career. IF he remains retired or Vince isn't a jackass and coaxes him into "one last match."

And watching him talk about his brother passing prior to taping the Boneyard Match was so sad. The guy has a level of commitment to the WWE & Vince that is rarely ever seen.

Sad to see the greatest big man ever retire, yet I'd rather know he's enjoying retirement, not plodding through matches a shell of his former self.

Match itself wouldn't have been better, but I meant the sendoff.

Ending for WM28 and 32 matches were both perfect ways for him to go out, but obviously he didn't feel that way.

I agree with all your sentiments & thought he'd have "one more match" in him. I'm happy he's finally at peace with calling it a career. The circumstances are out of anyone's control, so having one last successful match & leaving on a high note was great.

It wasn't the "final" moment, but that match (as disappointing as it was) against Roman was his sendoff.

He'll have his HOF induction to be showered with cheers (and tears) from the fans/WWE Universe.

[emoji848] I have no idea what undertaker getting inducted into the hof looks like. He seems pretty adamant, even to this day, about protecting the character.

They have a speech with no Undertaker around. Have Kane talk, Triple H, Michaels, etc...

Then at the end, we hear a gong. Up on the podium is his hat, coat and gloves like he left them at Mania after his match with Reigns.

He's done this doc and did Austin's show, I dont think things will be as strange having him give a speech.

But after seeing just how much Vince means to him, I can't imagine anyone else inducting him.

Has to be Vince. If Paul Bearer was still alive I'd say him. Has to be Vince though.

Better do it sooner than later then, Vince is getting harder and harder to understand

I’m sure it’ll be next year.

If it does happen, I'd like to see one of the following induct him: HBK, Mick, Kane, or Show.
