Where to start, Heyman wanted Punk to win the Chamber match and have Big Show be the first to be eliminated by having Punk eliminate him with the Anaconda Vise. Big Show agreed with the idea but Vince had other plans. He wanted Black Lesnar aka Bobby Lashley to not only win but be the star of the match.

Of course Heyman didn't agree, rumor has it that he and Vince argued throughout the day about that. Oh and Heyman being Heyman did what he used to do in ECW A LOT, that is book a lot of unadvertised matches.

AFAIK, only two matches were even advertised for that PPV.

I'm going to start at 1996 and work my way up in chronological order. I was born in 1992, so I figured 96 is when I first could remember wrestling.

I have literally watched wrestling my entire life (Born in 92 and I have a Hogan action figure from 93 haha), and this network is taking over my TV every single chance I have to sit down and relax.

My friend just left. Pretty sure I just sold a WWE Network. You'd think they should give me something for the referral.

He walked in said put some Stone Cold on. Watched 8 PPV matches of his and he is hooked.

if they didn't put that "this phone number is no longer in service" message when they show something for 10-10-321 or the WCW hotline I wonder if someone would have been dumb enough to call.

And the next time someone starts talking about how bad Michael Cole is on commentary I'm going to point them in the direction of Summerslam 88 and the awesomeness that was Superstar Billy Graham.

Its funny how he mentally masturbates about Hogan on that PPV and then ****s on him IRL 2 years later, also Mike Adamle is the worst announcer hands down.

Bunkhouse Brawl is single handedly one of the dumbest gimmick matches in pro wrestling history, throw your opponent over the cage and on to the floor?

I was watching that last night, that's right up there with the triple tower of doom match from that year's Great American Bash PPV for the worst gimmick match ever. The best part of the Bunkhouse ppv was Cornette insulting everyone during the TV title match which ended up being Beautiful Bobby having Koloff in a hammerlock for 15 of the 20 minutes

They eliminate both Undertaker and HBK in the first round so that the semi finals can be Mabel (with a bye) and Savio Vega vs the Roadie. In the finals Mabel uses a bearhug on Savio for a good 4-5 minutes out of an 8 minute match. Combine that with a nearly 20 minute main event of Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelow vs Tatanka and Psycho Sid where Bigelow might as well have been wrestling himself.

The ECW chant during the Savio/Mabel match is the best part of the PPV. Especially since it was 1995 and Vince on commentary had no idea what the fans were chanting but proceeded to say something along the lines as "would you listen to this". Meanwhile it's an angry Philly crowd.
