Looking back at when Bret Hart accepts Steve Austin's challenge for Survivor Series 1996 and there's TL Hopper in the shot.

A broader view not shown in this picture also includes what has to be one of the first appearances of Rocky Maivia alongside Salvatore Sincere. You can see them around 2:22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSRnKzhL_HI

People can say what they want about that "White Castle of Fear," but if the choice is between watching that or watching Sting and Vader cut promos on each other for weeks and weeks to build a feud, I'll take that video every time. Also if you're trying to build Sting as a Hogan type character, a 7 year old watching that would be hooked. Hell, I want that type of content in 2023 as an adult.

The thing that amazes me is that the Robocop angle was 3 years earlier that. And they had JR, Bob Caudle, AND Gordon Solie calling that. [emoji2309]

I’m legitimately excited to watch the match, their match from Great American Bash is one of my all time favorites and their Starcade match was awesome too. I think Sting’s matches with Vader blow away anything he did with Flair

That 2 Cold Scorpio thing is a running joke on Wrestling Bios "Reliving the War" if you watch that series.

                Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

I had followed a guide like this when we had the REAL WWE Network. Sadly Peacock has screwed up a good thing we had. But this is really great for those interested in watching WWE/wrestling overall in chronological order.

I wish we still had the original WWE Network though. There was so much on there and easy to find stuff. Peacock made it so difficult. Why would I want to watch all Wrestlemanias in a row with no context in between an entire year before the next one? Anyways here is a link on reddit that is pretty amazing!

Backlash got me thinking about that time Carlos Colón was in the 1993 Royal Rumble.

One of the funny parts to find out later on was that King has a closest of jokes/notebooks with all his material on it

The Jake Roberts drunk stuff is some of my all time favorite.

Lawler owes a lot to Heenan when it comes to his heel commentary, although I think he had more of a edge to his style. Heenan was more willing to look/sound like a fool. Seems like there just isn't room for a pure heel commentator these days, because heel/babyface is barely a thing anymore.

The more I'm rewatching the Invasion Era the more I wonder...who were the good guys (at least in the beginning)?

Fans booing WCW, they're booing the likes of Booker T, but then Vince leading the WWF is insulting the fans all the time which leads to them booing him. So who were they supposed to cheer?

And talk about things that didn't age well.

Torries introduction to the invasion was her wanting a job in the WWF, and Vince wanting her to show him how bad she wanted the job....and let's just say you could tell the inside of that arena was cold. Sure, storyline wise it was a setup by Torrie/WCW, but especially in hindsight, that was a disturbing series of events culminating in McMahon literally getting caught with his pants down thanks to Torrie.

This was also around the time Benoit got injured, so a fan in the front row has a sign that says "I miss Benoit".
