The New Midnite Express... and then getting KO'd by Butterbean. I could watch those Brawl 4 All matches over and over. That tournament had some legit badasses in it.

Never knew the exact promo where Austin's what chant began.

Turns out it was the Raw before Summerslam 2001.

He was insulting Hugh Morrus, Raven and Tazz and used the what chant as an insult towards them to rub in the fact that they failed.

Funny enough Chicago would be one of the last crowds to NOT use the what chants.

Was that the Raw with Brothers of Destruction vs Palumbo and O’Haire in a cage match? I remember being excited to see a cage match live for the first time and then it ended up being…that. Can’t remember if it was that Raw or not though.

It was that Raw. That cage match had no reason to be a cage match.

That was also the same Raw as THAT Rock/Jericho promo on Stephanie.

I never knew The Hurricane was kayfabe created by Stone Cold (he was asking Hurricane Helms about his green lantern tattoo and said he wanted Hurricane to be like a Hurricane/super hero)

A little while ago I was watching the 2nd ever TNA PPV in 2002 and they were doing "what?" chants. Crazy to think that it's been around for so damn long. AND it survived the pandemic.

Austin vs Hall at WM18 was loaded with it. Fans chanted it especially when Austin would do his stomps in the corner.

I think after last night it is going to be a regular thing with Jey Uso now anytime he talks

Probably, but he played into it and let people get it out of their system too. He spoke in a way to leave space for them to WHAT and then when he turned up the emphasis to make a point, the crowd was with him and cheered.

Got an email from Peacock that the price is increasing to 5.99/11.99 for the non commercial version. First increase after nine years for the network, I can deal with that

That's what I was thinking when hearing that news.

The second anyone hears price increase they freak out, but when you realize it's like a $1-$2 increase for the first time in almost a decade, its not so bad, especially by today's standards of prices going up all the time on literally everything.

It's not a bad price overall, but the timing isn't great when they just ended the inclusion of the $5 tier for most Xfinity customers.

That being said, I've been with Xfinity long enough that I qualified for free Peacock thru Xfinity Rewards (which I didn't know was a thing until 3 weeks ago) so my opinion on their prices doesn't mean much.

Maybe at least fix the content menu since the price is going up. I know they won't, but it would be nice.

                            Great PPV opening

One of Jerichos many great lines at the expense of Stephanie during his feud ahead of Summerslam:
I'm going to take care of that smelly, greasy, nasty animal....and I'm gonna beat you too Rhyno.

2001 Stephanie was definitely her best year.

And probably the best reaction to a clothesline from hell

Just watched this 1995 WCW Sat Night match on YouTube...

Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Steve Austin

                                vs

Sting, Alex Wright and The Renegade (with Jimmy Hart)

                                What a strange time.
