Re: The OS WWE Dirt Discussion Thread
I hope they don't ignore him, with so many of the older names retiring they could really benefit from his random return. He could have some good programs against Rusev, Bryan, Rollins, Ambrose, or even Cena again.Kurt Angle recently made inquiries about returning to WWE. Angle spoke to Triple H on the phone and was said to be pretty much blown off. Angle then called Vince McMahon but Vince told him that Triple H makes the talent decisions now.
This led to Triple H being upset with Angle for trying to go over his head. This was all confirmed by Mark Madden, who had Angle on his show, and other sources.
This of course assuming he can pass a physical and drug test.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: The OS WWE Dirt Discussion Thread
From a logical standpoint, this could actually work. Just have Heyman turn on Lesnar because he can make more money off Cena showing up every night than he can off Lesnar showing up when he pleases. Plus, it wouldn't be the first time he turned on Lesnar.
We could possibly see a Bash at the Beach 96 level of trash thrown in the ring if they did thisComment

David Shoemaker, author of The Squared Circle: Life, Death and
Professional Wrestling, noted on his Twitter that he's heard Daniel
Bryan needs Tommy John surgery and will be out at least 3 more months.
Shoemaker also is a journalist for Grantland.com and Deadspin.com. He wrote:
"I'm hearing Daniel Bryan needs Tommy John surgery and will be out at least 3
more months."
Tommy John Surgery is a procedure where the ulnar collateral ligament in the
medial elbow is replaced with a tendon from somewhere else in the body. The
procedure is common among athletes, especially baseball players. It was named
after the first baseball player to undergo the surgery, former MLB pitcher Tommy
John.
Makes sense...Royal Rumble return! With all his nagging injuries, wonder if he will be a constant worry to showcase due to injuriesatleast..Its not DelawareComment

Re: The OS WWE Dirt Discussion Thread
Usually guys who have Tommy John surgery come back better than before (in baseball anyway) hopefully it's the same deal with Daniel. I just hope he comes back fully healthy and they don't try to rush him back.

They're just doing this to throw a swerveball at us so right when Lesnar is about to rip Cena's head (and spine) from his body Mortal Kombat style at NoC, Daniel Bryan's music will hit and he will save Cena from the fatality setting up a match between them down the road.badComment

Re: The OS WWE Dirt Discussion Thread
I think people are writing off the Del Rio situation too quickly. Let's be honest here (without encroaching on the TOS) - it's not like the WWE has the best history when it comes to racial tolerance. You had the situation a few years ago with Michael Hayes using a racial slur in reference to Mark Henry. Then you have their history of not so flattering stereotypes with certain characters. If Del Rio really wanted to push this thing then he would have some sort of an argument.Comment

Independent contractors (like the wrestlers all are) aren't covered by workplace laws like that.I think people are writing off the Del Rio situation too quickly. Re: The OS WWE Dirt Discussion Thread
Even if he were, he ruined any argument he could really make by physically assaulting the guy. I don't know too many courts that would toss out his assault of the social media guy because he was provoked by a racial remark. Had he not touched the guy and they just got into a heated argument and Del Rio was fired afterwards, then he'd have a case, but he was fired because he physically assaulted someone.Comment
