I was hoping that they were setting up a JR return. Maybe next week?

I think WWE should have sent him out with King and either Renee or Barrett. He has done lead commentary duties on NXT before though so I was surprised that he didn't sound as good.

It did sound like his microphone was quite quiet though.
I hear you brother, and while I get it being difficult to carry solo, I don't think he got any better when King did get out there. I'm sure at that point he was so worked up after knowing he was screwing up, it was hard to do anything, but that doesn't change what happened. He had a chance and he just didn't deliver. We'll see if he can recover but I would be shocked if he's back next week.

I had to dvr the ending of Raw so I'm just now catching Byron doing commentary and I legit feel bad for the guy. I'm not sure it was a great idea to put him out there alone early on. I'm guessing this was his opportunity to either piss or step away from the urinal. It'll be interesting to see how he's handled from here on out.

It didn't help that it sounded like they told him to be all depressed.

Could be. Either way, hopefully Cole gets a long vacation.

Yeah, I noticed when Miz dropped Mizdow from behind he was dead quite. To my wife I said, "oh, Miz attacks Mizdow from behind and hits him with the Skull Crushing Finale...why is he not saying anything?"

Yeah, sleeping on it a little I have to agree with some of you guys. It seemed like it was an open tryout for Saxton but he blew it however it wasn't the best of circumstances. He was hamstrung by having to act all depressed and shocked over what happened. I know how difficult it is to commentate alone (that's why there are so few people who can do it well) but I thought if Saxton was a little more assertive and give some backstory or y'know, just straight up call the matches without gaps he'd have done better.

Sadly for him, even when they brought Lawler out to help him he was still pretty lackluster though having King to bounce things off of helped him a bit especially in the Rusev match where he made some good points about him however Saxton was still quiet as a church mouse. I literally had to turn up my TV quite a bit to even hear him.

I could maybe see that for the initial segment or two afterwards, but there's no way they told him to do it for an hour and a half. It doesn't make sense.

I don't want it to come across like I'm pretending I could do any better, let alone do the show myself. I'm just saying he wasn't at all ready for the position they put him in last night. Maybe he gets another shot one day and absolutely kills it, but he froze last night.

Brock Lesnar's massacre was awesome. Really made you fear for everyone's safety. I liked how this suspension will be the reason for why he will be gone. It's logical and they also established that he will have his rematch someday. The rest of the show was okay. The San Jose crowd was hot all night. A lot of their chants were funny.

The Daniel Bryan/Ziggler match was decent and figured Bryan was going to get his win back. And it's about time Sheamus is back. Sporting a mohawk now. The Lucha Dragons made their debut and I was impressed with Kallisto. The debut of Naville was cool too. The storyline of Miz and Mizdow is heating up and is one of the best built feuds going on. Poor Dean Ambrose is just a jobber now losing to Cena in the US Title Match. The Divas Tag team match was decent too. They really are getting lots of time to wrestle now. The main event tag team match was alright. We never got a reason for why Reigns wanted to join Randy Orton though. Decent show overall but I can understand why people felt it was lacking after the Lesnar segment.

That was fun for 5 minutes, or however long it lasted, but I'm assuming there's more to him than nonstop flips and high spots. I'm also wondering if they're going to limit his high risk moves now that he's on Raw.

Yeah I remember when Mysterio was a high flyer......it can really cut a career short though.

That is what it sounded like will happen. They gave an "update" on his condition and gave him a pretty serious sounding injury.

So Raw did huge numbers last night. Here's the numbers compared to the last couple months:

                                <table height="195" width="506"><tbody><tr><td>2/2/15</td> <td>4,292,000</td> <td>4,466,000</td> <td>4,403,000</td> <td>4,008,000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2/9/15</td> <td>3,658,000</td> <td>3,786,000</td> <td>3,670,000</td> <td>3,518,000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2/16/15</td> <td>3,997,000</td> <td>4,138,000</td> <td>4,026,000</td> <td>3,828,000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2/23/15</td> <td>4,122,000</td> <td>4,082,000</td> <td>4,109,000</td> <td>4,176,000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>3/2/15</td> <td>3,825,000</td> <td>3,545,000</td> <td>4,066,000</td> <td>3,864,000</td> </tr><tr><td>3/9/15</td><td>3,859,000</td><td>3,699,000</td><td>3,937,000</td><td>3,940,000</td></tr><tr><td>3/16/15</td><td>3,919,000</td><td>3,881,000</td><td>3,961,000</td><td>3,915,000</td></tr><tr><td>3/23/15</td><td>4,188,000</td><td>4,178,000</td><td>4,342,000</td><td>4,043,000</td></tr><tr><td>3/30/15</td><td>5,364,000</td><td>5,227,000</td><td>5,597,000</td><td>5,267,000</td></tr></tbody></table>
