The memorable finish really distracts from how bad the 95 WWF roster was. WWE uploaded the whole match last year and outside a handful of guys it's just loser after loser.

I was watching DSOTR on The Steroid Trial and WWE transitioning to smaller guys and the "New Generation" was not a good period for WWF at the time. They lacked the star power post Hulk Hogan. Those pre Attitude Era Rumbles don't really feel like it's a big match or important.

I won’t let y’all disparage the era that gave me back to back HBK rumble wins.

You mean you're NOT a fan of Eli Blu, Duke, Jimmy Del Ray, Sione......I could go on, but I'm only at entrant #6 and I already dont know half these guys. I just went through the whole list. A third of the guys in there I never heard of (at least not that gimmick they had in 95).

Half the field was just tag teams.

Actually, that might’ve been why 1995 was only 60 seconds between entrants. They knew what it was, and just wanted to get Pam Anderson on screen and get the match over with.

This card featured Bret Hart vs Diesel for the WWF Championship. Jeff Jarrett defeated Razor Ramon to capture his first IC Championship and of course this also saw the setup for what would be the Wrestlemania Main Event....

LT sold the hell out of that push. Looked legit pissed. But man that is a pretty weak WM main event.

Have to know going in that this will be a no bueno match, but if I hear Ahmed vs Vader is happening I'm still watching 99 times out of a 100.

Feb 12th, 2017.... Bray Wyatt outlasted 5 other superstars and pinned AJ Styles to become the WWE Champion inside the Elimination Chamber. They did him so wrong, should have had a longer reign. Just had him drop it to Orton so Orton can drop it to Jinder Mahal.

2017 for the title picture was just so weird for most of it.

Wyatt wins, which was good. They did all that just to have Orton win it at WM and waste the Wyatt title win for that.

And then Orton loses the title to Jinder which was ridiculous and one of the worst WWE champs I've ever seen.

And then they have Jinder with a lengthy reign, remember Survivor Series is champ vs champ, then has him drop it to AJ so we have the SS match with 0 build and a new champ.
