Raw Roulette episodes were always fun. Say what you want about gimmick matches, but it sure was entertaining.
Yeah, watching the RA documentary talking about all the new ways they innovated including RAW Roulette was a fun trip back down memory lane. Triple H should adds themes to episodes of RAW & SD like he did with NXT as a way to cut back on PLE and not having them every month. RAW Roulette once a year, or "Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal" added to Extreme Rules where every match is determined by the wheel.

15 years ago, some young prospect named Drew McIntyre made his WWE debut.

The crazy thing, this wasn't even his chosen one debut, but a different one 2 years prior.

Also on this day, the WWE title changed hands in Saskatoon of all places, with Bret Hart beating Ric Flair 30 years ago for his first title win ever.

4 years ago on RAW, Roman Reigns announced his Leukiema had returned after 11 years and was forced to relinquish the Universal Championship. Got to say, seeing how hard the announcement hit Rollins, Dean didn't show any emotion. Then the perfectly timed heel turn by Ambrose in the main event. It sucks that they brought Roman back in 2019 but he never feuded with Ambrose and just pretended the heel turn didn't happen.

Speaking of Reigns reaction to a heel turn, that's one part of the short feud with Rollins to start this year I loved.

Rollins could say or do anything and it doesn't phase Reigns.

The second he mentioned turning on the Shield, Reigns snaps and is like "I'll never forgive you for what you did!"

The Shield can reunite, break up, reunite, break up, all they want, but that single moment will always eat at them.

Roman Reigns made his NXT TV Debut 10 years ago today. Meaning he was in NXT for less than a month before going to the main roster in November 2012 debuting in The Shield.

I remember when they made the change from FCW to NXT. Roman Reigns name felt so generic (he was Leakee before, which Leo Kruger loved to call him "Leaky").

I always said heel Reigns in FCW was what they should've made him on the main roster back when fans were booing him as a face. I was wrong. Current heel Reigns is way better than anything he's ever done as a heel even in FCW

The most hilarious thing.... we got the pre-shield Triple Threat between Ambrose, Rollins and Leakee where the winner would face Leo Kruger for the NXT Title, Kruger would become Adam Rose on the main roster. That is just mind boggling to think about.

They messed with Kruger big time.

I actually liked the Adam Rose gimmick, mainly just him in NXT (and the few promos he did on the main roster), but Leo Kruger was his best work.

I was hoping they'd do to him what we later saw with Wyatt/Fiend. Adam Rose could've been his happy party gimmick, but he brings out his dark side in Leo Kruger.

FCW was funny to look back on in hindsight. The thing which turned me off was generic Mike Dalton being given the title over the likes of Rollins, Kruger, Ambrose. Mike Dalton was boring don't get me wrong, but he'd evolve into Tyler Breeze.

The in ring debut of Steve Blackman

                            And also this happened

What's crazy is that more time has passed between when Bret returned and today vs time between the screwjob and when Bret returned.

Late 97 to beginning of 10 vs beginning of 2010 vs late 22?

SS97 to that Raw in 2010 was 4439 days (12 years, 1 month, 4 weeks)

                                January 4, 2010 to today is 4692 days (12 years, 10 months, 1 week)
