My fiancee complained about Roman being in the main event, and Roman being the one to beat Taker - does that count as casual, considering the first time she ever watched wrestling was June of 2011?

(the thing that interested her most on the card was probably HHH/Rollins, Styles/Shane and Orton/Bray in that order - mainly because her boy Finn wasn't on the card.)

I could say the same about my wife, but the other way. The Undertaker was her favorite as a kid, but loved when Roman defeated him...Then cried as Taker left.

She enjoys the new era people, but mainly Roman, Bayley, and Ambrose.

Only snag I see with this NXT generation taking over is that I feel like most of the former NXT talent are only over because of stuff they did at NXT, and not their main talent work. You could argue that the talent isn't to blame for that, but it's still a thing.

Only snag I see with this NXT generation taking over is that I feel like most of the former NXT talent are only over because of stuff they did at NXT, and not their main talent work. You could argue that the talent isn't to blame for that, but it's still a thing.

No, seriously, nobody sells their gimmick as hard as he does and I respect that. I don't wanna see him beating Lesnar anytime soon, but he's a good lower tier babyface with an over-the-top but believable gimmick. Great curtain jerker to wake up the crowd.

Why is that a problem though? Owens is the same as he was in NXT but he was awesome in NXT and he's awesome in WWE. Same with Bayley. Same with Banks (even though I'm not happy with how she has been booked) I'd argue that I've seen a good amount of growth from the Shield since they entered WWE.

Also most of the NXT guys have been in WWE 2 yr or less. Zayn, Enzo and Cass started after WM last year. Balor in the summer. The women have been here less than 2.

Give it time.

One last point. I think we overestimate the number of fans who watch NXT regularly. For many fans when Owens debuted against Cena...that was the first time they saw Owens. For the majority of WWE fans, his gimmick is brand new.

Mine is a fan of (probably in order) - Finn, Orton, HHH, AJ (not including NXT people here.) For the women it's Sasha, Bayley and Alexa.

Realistically, the part-timer era may come to an end after next year.

- Brock's contract expires next year, he may be done. He may not be as well, but there's a chance he hangs it up.

- Undertaker is done

- Goldberg is done

That leaves Triple H and John Cena, who else? Shane?. I suppose there's always a chance for The Rock to go at it again but it's doubtful.

They probably need to start phasing Orton out at some point. He's been a good workhorse for some time but I think it's at the point where he would be much more impactful as a part time guy (like Jericho).

You also have Batista and some of the other ruthless agression guys. I would love to see Rey Mysterio come back to add some starpower to the Cruiserweight division.

I think Mysterio is still under contract for another season of Lucha Underground. Also after watching some of Lucha Underground I wouldn't mind seeing John Morrison making a comeback. In the 10 or so episodes I have seen so far, he has done some solid work with Lucha Underground.

So, Meltzer is saying the attendence they announced might be the fakest attendence they've ever claimed lol.The entrance stage was way bigger than the one from WM24, so it is kinda impossible for them to fit more this time. He was hearing the capacity would be more like 55,000.

Chris Jericho is wearing a tiny, sparkly speedo, knee-high sparkly boots, and a scarf with Christmas lights blinking on it. Kevin Owens is wearing an ugly black tank top and some boring black pants. If this were a battle of the outfits, Kevin Owens wouldn’t stand a chance.

“You don’t have any friends!” Kevin Ownes yells at Chris Jericho. He also yells, "You were never my best friend!" and "You're a piece of trash!"

It’s the meanest heckling I’ve ever heard. I can’t tell if the emotional pain is real (the physical pain definitely is), but the ability to act through all of it and put on a show while your ribs are splintering into a million tiny pieces is astounding regardless.

Chris Jericho pins Kevin Owens, but Kevin Owens has a finger on the rope, which appears to be the wrestling version of a Get Out of Jail Free card. It’s a brilliant move, judging by the reaction it’s getting from the crowd.

Seth Rollins is a beautiful man. Triple H is a jacked-up monster. I can’t write about the actual fight because it makes me sick to my stomach to watch and therefore to think about.

TL;DR: Seth’s knee is not OK, and Triple H keeps hurting it more. Seth is in so much pain that I’m not sure he’ll ever walk again, and now there’s a sledgehammer involved, and it feels like they’ve been murdering each other for five hours.
