So how soon will Triple H announce NXT going to 2 hours on Wednesday now lol. It seems the two companies seem to be trying to out do each other recently.

Probably in about 12 hours at the absolute latest. I wouldn't be shocked to hear that come out during the Q2 briefs tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure Triple H would rather not do that. But its obviously not up to him.

Yeah I honestly don’t think HHH cares that much. Doesn’t seem like the kinda guy that would make rash reactions. Vince however lol

Looks like some AEW guys hoping to get Stephen Amell in AEW.

I doubt he actually would but you never know. In terms of celebs to try wrestling, he's definitely one of the best. Once Arrow finishes up filming, you never know what he'd want to do next. Probably not wrestling, but he does have a history with Cody, maybe they offer some backstage role?

This post is hilarious and makes more of an AEW fan.

Earlier this week Punk did an interview with ESPN about the Starrcast show before All Out, next month.

He said he texted Matt saying have a great show before DoN that turned into Tony saying he has a great relationship Punk. He talked with them about doing some work (unspecified whether it was in ring, backstage, commentary) nothing came of it. If there's an expectation it's because of them. He says he doesn't even know how to answer a text from Cody/Bucks because they'll go interview and say, "I was just talking with Punk" and such.

here's a link for you to read it for yourself. https://www.espn.com/wwe/story/_/id/...stling-cm-punk

I read something like AEW plan being doing 140 shows a year.

51 TV events(seeing how its 51, I wonder which week we'll have no show?), 4 PPVs, and the rest probably house shows.

So really it's around 80 house shows a year (or like 2 or so a week). I could see a few more than 4 PPVs. Probably a few free events not on TNT.

Christmas. Christmas falls on a Wednesday this year so I imagine that will be the week they don't have a show.

New Years also is Wednesday. I know it's different feeling between Christmas and New Years, but they both are holidays.

I’d stay away from doing house shows until their brand is built up. No sense in having these guys beat up their bodies in front of a crowd of 800 people

Yep. Ala WCW before E shut down the house show loop.

But it's okay to have them beat up their bodies in front of 50 people on the Indies?

Yeah i don't see them doing much in the way of house shows. WWE has been doing some horrible house show attendence numbers in the past few years. Like embarrasingly bad. Why even bother. Just do your weekly TV, PPVs, and the occassional house show in a smaller venue.

And this is why I see them cycling some of their talent in and out, and having them work indies.

Are they going to be allowing their talent to do Indy shows once their weekly tv kicks off?
