I can admit it. That Cody/Jericho segment was the most fun I’ve had with wrestling in awhile. I almost stood up and cheered in my living room when Cody punched the glass.

But for the love of god turn up the damn intro music.

One thing I'm not sure that's gonna work for AEW long-term is their presentation. It seems that the show is almost PPV-like in the sense that it's almost all matches and not enough promos. That style has never been sustainable on a mainstream level and I fear if they stick to it that they may keep losing viewers.

2015 Best of Super Juniors. They were originally supposed to be in the 2016 BOSJ, but were pulled for injuries.

They really should be focusing on promos. I get they want to emphasize the sports aspect, but promos are what makes people care. It gives the competitors meaning, builds their characters and makes you want more.

Being just another company focusing on wrestling isn't gonna be sustainable.


I know people hate the whole "sports entertainment" label, but that's what I feel drives the business. Not wrestling, but sports entertainment. It's not only about what goes on during matches.

Jerichos ticket wasn't for a box suite.

there are no words to describe how I feel about AEW as a whole every week they are putting on PPV style shows ON tv. very little talking, storyline building if you will.

this is why I choose WCW over WWE back in the day. this is professional wrestling... just one small issue... please the comedy out of the show...

I’m sure I’ll get flamed out of existence for this but....I don’t really get the hype behind the Bucks. I mean clearly they can go in the ring. But everything else just seems meh. It’s like the Hardy’s dressed up as the Rockers for Halloween.
