Being mad that a rumored debut didn't happen is stupid. The mystery partner was announced the week before.

Right. Before that? Go wild with speculation, hope, or whatever. But they literally told us who the partner was. Anybody who was still expecting Mercedes after that and being mad/sad when she didn’t show only has themselves to blame.Comment

 Re: AEW Dynamite Thread

Not only that, but like even as an AEW fan like myself, did anyone really think Tony "15 minutes for the women over 3 hours of TV" Khan and Mercedes "Treat me like the star I am" Mone were a fit for each other? I like both people quite a bit, but if Mercedes didn't like the way she was treated in WWE, I find it highly doubtful she'd find AEW better based on the last four years at least. I could see a one-off appearance or a Forbidden Door thing happening, but I would be shocked if she signed full-time with AEW.Support Local Sports

Did not see Too Flight going over there. A pleasant surprise.

And TBS just censored Max’s rap lol

I have absolutely zero issues with booking Bryan Danielson in this series of matches.

 Re: AEW Dynamite Thread

Warner wouldn't allow AEW to do a big tribute to Jay Briscoe as Warner Media was against the Briscoes appearing on AEW due to Jay's past homophobic comments.

Man died and some TV executives wouldn't even let them do a full tribute. That's messed up.Comment

I love the MJF promos or w/e there called... But I've heard him mention a couple times now about going to WWE... AEW isnt that stupid to let him leave, right?

I mean I would love to watch MJF vs Roman but MJF is the reason I started watching AEW.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

 Re: AEW Dynamite Thread

I don't really think he's going anywhere, for now, but after his next big payday in AEW, I could definitely see him going to WWE in his mid-30s, especially if they're still doing the part-time star deals, which is what it seems like Max is more intent on doing. I get that it's probably part character, but I also think Max himself likes the shorter schedule he's on now for actual physical activity.Support Local Sports

He's playing up his heel character while also being a businessman.

You'd be stupid to turn down whichever offer ends up being more money/better for you and your family, especially in what is essentially his first "UFA contract" if we compare it to sports where guys are RFA or under arbitration for a few years.Comment

That's messed up if true. We'll still punish a guy (even in death) for an idiotic tweet he made ten years ago when he had seemingly reconciled those views judging by Ian Riccaboni's tweets several months ago.

But we'll continue to air a show made by a guy who slapped the taste out of his wife's mouth.

Well, 1. if you think Tony Khan is just going to write him a personal check and not count it as a part of the AEW budget somehow because he's rich, I think you are mistaken. And 2. compared to WWE they don't have the money, which was mostly my point. WWE could easily go to place that AEW cannot when it comes to a salary/contract.Comment

Except Tony Khan could write that check to keep him. The Kahn's are wealthier than Vince.
