Some guys are more indy-riffic than others. Bailey is the ultimate example. When you tour the indies you don't have to cut promos or do storylines. You basically just do shots and live and die by your in-ring/gimmick. He's going to come in and do a bunch of a "dream matches" on TV, and then after that who knows.

They clearly need more MJFs and fewer Ospreay's at this point.

It was definitely a holy **** moment. I guess if you are going to do a spot like that, better to do it in a major promotion with medical staff, as opposed to some small indie.

Also, it's gonna be Omega vs Ricochet vs Speedball Bailey at Dynasty. The is exactly the type of match that AEW's (shrinking) diehard fanbase sees as a dream match, and everyone else just sees as a glorified gymnastics floor routine with no story or reason to genuinely care. The usual people will give it 5 stars, match of the year candidate, etc. I would be way more interested in seeing this match if it was in Japan, because the American live crowd will likely be insufferable.

          What perfect timing...

AEW will officially surpass WCW Nitro in episodes produced on April 16th, aka Wrestlemania Week.

AEW will be having a "special" episode of Dynamite to commemorate it, though it'll probably just be the same kind of show any show with a tagline is.

But still, that is impressive for them.

Impact being on Spike for 9 years is still impressive too, even if Spike by the end wasn't the same as when Raw was on it.

            Speedball: Kenny Omega

            Omega: Speedball...

Speedball: I wanted to come out here to tell you congratulations.

            Omega: .....Thanks?

            *Ricochet plays recorded message*

Omega: Hold on a sec Ricochet....and he's gone. But it's like Ricochet said, it's not about making friends, I have a cat, I don't need any more.

Speedball looks like the bad guy in Despicable ME 3.

Athena has finally been allowed back on AEW! I thought for sure TK just forgot about her lol. They really need to implement a NXT to main roster call up system between AEW & ROH. Athena vs Mercedes is going to be good at All In Texas.

Tony not using ROH as developmental and instead trying to make it WWECW 2.0 or NXT Black and Gold 2.0 just seems so stupid.

So Swerve & Moxley face off on Sunday for the AEW World Championship, but they are in a mixed tag team match with one another. If they are fighting now, why buy the PPV?

Briscoe: What are you all going to do with 100k?

                      Ospreay: I'M GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!

Speedball: I need to buy new shoes.

                      Knight: Magic city.

Briscoe: Actually, I'm going to diversify my portfolios.

Did some fan really try trash talking Jericho by telling him to "go suck on a maple leaf"?

                        Re: AEW Dynamite/Collision Thread

On IG I saw the segment with FTR and Tony Schiavone from Collision, and man does it perfectly illustrate the issues AEW has. Trying to 100 things at the same time, accomplishing none of them.

FTR in the ring, cutting a heel promo about turning on Adam Copeland. Then they bring up how Schiavone criticized them on commentary about it. They invite Schiavone into the ring, and he doesn't back down at all about what he said. Cool, awesome so far.

Then they threaten to piledrive Schiavone, and Nigel McGuinness stands up at the commentary position. I guess that was supposed to be a huge moment, but it just feels awkward as they both just stare at each other for way too long.

Nigel gets in the ring to protect Schiavone, and from behind Daniel Garcia tries to calm things down (I guess) but Dax pushes him away by accident. They make a big deal out of that, while Nigel is yelling at Schiavone that he shouldn't have gotten in the ring.

Why can't this **** just be simple? I'm not even watching the show and this stuff feels so unfocused and overcomplicated.

Mercedes and Athena putting on a hell of a match.

I think all 4 members of the '4 Horsewomen' are starting to show their age, lost a step (maybe 2 in some cases), wear and tear playing a major part (and age).

Still, they all can still go when given the right opponent.

That MJF/Hurt Syndicate segment felt very ruthless aggression era style.

I'm sure both are a factor too. They've all been doing this for over a decade on the main roster, with people like Bayley and Mercedes doing it regularly for 15+ years (despite that, Bayley is only 35 and Mercedes 33).

But then age for someone like Charlotte who is in her 40s and Becky who is 38, it's bound to happen.

This is the first time we've really seen a women's division from beginning to end of a main roster career so there's no bar on how long their career could go or what age or career length could show signs of wear and tear. You obviously don't see as many female athletes in their 40s competed to male athletes, maybe the trend continues in wrestling too, which is another reason we're seeing so many younger women come from NXT compared to men who it's more normal to see them stay until their mid to late 20s in developmental.

Tony Khan really is booking Zach Gowen in 2025... let alone a match against Ricochet. What timeline are we in?
